Description of Work: We used Real Estate Appraisal Services to do an appraisal of our home and property to take to court because the school system was trying to jack up our taxes.

+ -1 moreI think Cristoff got the assessment of our home wrong. His number was far off the Zillow estimate, and when I wrote to ask him to explain the discrepancy he failed to respond. He took many short-cuts in his appraisal and in the end I was disappointed that I hired him.
Description of Work: Kenneth "Casey" Cristoff came to our house, took a few pictures, and measured some rooms. He was here for about half and hour. Then he left and emailed us a report in which he compared our house to others that had sold and attempted to make an appraisal of our home's value. His report was late. He got some aspects of our home wrong in his report, he compared it to a highly restrictive set of comparable homes.

+ -1 moreAPPRAISER WAS ON TIME, VERY POLITE. HE FIT ME INTO HIS SCHEDULE RIGHT AWAY. I HAD THE APPRAISAL WITHIN A WEEK.
Description of Work: KEN MET ME AT THE HOUSE. HE INSPECTED THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE AND LOOKED OVER THE OUTSIDE. HE TOOK PICTURES OF THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE HOUSE.
