Mr. Hufnagel, his son, and assistant were professional and nice folks from beginning to end of this work. Everything went smoothly. They clean up after work completed.

I didn't think it would be possible to fish wires to the ceiling and they did it expertly. Very neat work. I was extremely pleased and the price was fair.

Great experience from start to finish. Dave, Jason and Nick and Joyce (in the office) ticked all the boxes in my opinion. They were prompt, courteous, informative, hard working and cleaned up afterward. Joyce called to confirm appointment dates and times in advance and was quick to respond to any questions and requests for additional information via email. They were very knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with us. I cannot speak to the pricing because, quite honestly, we were so impressed with Dave during the estimate appointment, we didn’t bother to get any other quotes. I highly recommend this company for any electrical projects. You will not be disappointed!

Prompt, professional and personable. Due to the house being well over 100 years old and lack of wiring in some areas, the job was more complicated than it sounds. Mr. Hufnagel checked with me on any additional expenses and what he felt should be done to properly complete the job. Additional parts were needed to install the fans.

Very well. They came to the house to examine the area and to answer another question I had about knob and tube wiring. I had already purchased a fan, but they recommended I purchase a longer down tube which I did. I had also Purchase a support electrical box, but they insist on using their own. However, when they removed the existing light fixture the box was already attached to a hoist and no special box was needed. They credited to me the cost of the electrical box from the original estimate.They were punctual.

Everything was perfect. The project couldn’t have gone more smoothly, they kept me informed of any changes as they went along, so there were no surprises at the end. There was no mess for me to clean up. I highly recommend Hulnagel electric, I will be using them again.

I needed a new 30-amp receptacle for a pending dryer delivery. I called Hufnagel Electric and received a call-back that same day. Thankfully, Dave was able to fit me into his busy schedule the very next day since he was going to be in the area. This was a huge help to avoid having to re-schedule my delivery. We just purchased an older home--our first--and while Dave worked proficiently, and he didn't mind my peppering him with questions pretty much the entire time he was here. I learned a lot. Dave ran a short length of new wire (the receptacle was in the basement not far from the service panel), addressed a code violation he noticed in the panel, installed the receptacle after checking with me to make sure it was oriented correctly for the particular cord I was going to buy, checked voltage at the receptacle, and re-sealed the meter box entry point after finding rust in the service panel. By then it was quitting time for the day, but he stuck around to look at some other things I had questions about so he could provide a quote for additional work. I'm not sure how to evaluate the price, because I did not get any other quotes, but I was happy to pay for the expertise and timely service. I plan to hire them again.

Hufnagel Electric was great to work with. Mr. Hufnagel worked with me on a tough schedule, took the time to do a quick job safely and was a real gentleman. They were also very patient and willing to consult and even ask questions about the nature of the job to ensure you were asking for the right work to be done. Note that when you schedule, they will mention a very fair rescheduling fee policy up front, which I appreciated the honesty on. These folks care about and respect your time, so I can appreciate they expect that same respect in return. You can also tell there is a real sense of pride about their business and their work. I actually chose them not because of all these positive reviews, but because they 1. weren't about to let a negative review slip without some feedback and 2. if you give them five stars and you did not get service from them, they pointed that out. That's some real honesty right there. I will without a doubt choose Hufnagel in the future.

We've used Hufnagel for a previous project and were satisfied. This time around it was the same result. On first visit they provided a diagnosis and a range of options and estimated pricing. On the day of the job they were prompt and professional and continuously kept us informed of what was happening. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to home improvement. Hufnagel may not be the cheapest option (although I do think their rates are competitive) but they are very polished and professional, and they genuinely care about doing a good job for their clients. During the original visit they even looked at some other things for me free of charge and offered their opinions and advice as to how I should proceed. Highly recommended.
