I called Hufnagle Services to receive a quote and schedule an appointment for the work to be done. I received an invoice via e-mail that very day. Jason arrived within the time period scheduled. He was very friendly and professional. The installation was completed without any problems. He installed the fixture to my mother's preference and it looks beautiful. He carried the old ceiling fan to the garage for easy trash pick up for us. I was very satisfied with the service provided.

Prompt response for estimate and scheduling. Work very professionally done. Cleaned up as they went along.

Jason and his Dad did all the work. They were always at our house when they said they would be. They were more than curtious and kind. They did all the work and it was done perfectly. We already have recommended them to other friends and they are now our permanent electricians.

We called Jason. He came out and gave us an estimate. Then he came and did the work as promised.

Jason Hufnagel returned my initial phone call promptly, and was able to schedule an estimate the same day. He thoroughly explained the work that was needed to bring my electrical service up to code. I was unable to schedule the work until 6 weeks later when Jason was available and I was able to take a day off, but on the scheduled day Jason and his father were able to complete the job despite the questionable weather forcast. The work was done cleanly and within the predicted time, and when completed they showed me everything that was done, and explained the reasons for the way the work was completed. I am very happy with the work done by Hufnage Electric, and would not hesitate to call again, or to recommend.

I contacted Jason on Tuesday and he was able to come out Wednesday evening. He was prompt and punctual, checked out our breaker box and replaced the breaker. He explained what he was doing and dealt with all the problems we had discussed before he came out. I would certainly use him again for any other electrical work.

I left a message about my project on their website and received a call soon thereafter. Jason came out on the day I suggested and discussed my work and choices on a breaker box and capacity. I received an e-mail with a detailed proposal a few days later. We arranged for a service date and one hour window for starting the work. Jason and his father Dave showed up at the time agreed upon. They told me about how long the power would be off and methodically performed their work. They were very professional and friendly and consulted with me on the exact placement of my outlets. They also provided me with a cross reference of my old circuits with the new breakers so I would know which areas were controlled by each breaker. I am entirely satisfied with their work and recommend them. I would definitely use them again for electrical work.

Work involved installing a new breaker in the electrical service panel and running a long length of wire under the deck to the location of the new service disconnect; a difficult, messy job. Work was done with a lot of attention to quality and the appearance of the finished job. When the hot tub was all hooked up it didn't work exactly as expected and they took the time to review the configuration settings and make the necessary changes (not necessarily in the original scope of worK). They took the time to explain each step of the project, accepting my questions and input cheerfully.

I had two ceiling fans on a covered deck the worked on a single switch. The switch only turned the fans and lights on or off. Fan speed had to be controlled by climbing up and pulling a chain. Lights were either on or off - no ability to dim. Hufnagel rewired both fans to a single fan control switch allowing synchronized control of the fan speed and dimming on both units. Work was done very well with attention to quality.

Had a wobbly and noisy ceiling fan in our master bedroom. Purchased a new fan and asked Hufnagel to install it. When Jason arrived to install the fan he told us that the model we purchased usually had a higher cost for installation but he honored his original quote. The fan installation went very well. It's now whisper quiet without a trace of a wobble. Sleeping much better thanks to Hufnagel Electric!

I thought they were quick with the service and everything seemed alright to me.

Hufnagel was very easy to deal with. Prompt to all appointments, Jason came out to take a look at the job and e-mailed me later that night with an estimate, including both best and worst case scenarios (and including a discount for Angie's List clients). I had quotes from 3 companies and Hufnagel was the most competitive and also all inclusive (other companies did not include inspection costs into their estimates). We set the work date, but ended up doing it in two days as situation was a bit trickier than first anticipated. That ended up working quite nicely, Jason and his dad came out on Saturday, even though they normally don't schedule work on week-ends. The work was done in about 6 hours, job site thoroughly cleaned up, any questions we had answered. Very happy with this company - ultimate professionals. We will most certainly use them again if the need arises.

I called Jason last week after I realized that there was open/hot wiring in an unfinished switch in the house we just moved to. We set up the appointment for today between 12 and 2. Jason called at 12:05 and asked if it was still a good time to come and told me that we was on his way. Upon his arrival, he went over the pricing structure and asked if I was okay with it. During the entire process, he made sure that he told me what it would cost to do the additional things that I might need done. Upon his figuring out the very strange wiring configuration (which is why I called in the first place) he prepared the wires in the overhead light. I was able to install the fixture myself, saving me money. He made sure I was doing it right and when I reached a part that I couldn't quite get, Jason did it in 2 minutes. After seeing the wiring that was in place he was able to install an additional outlet. But, the super exciting thing for me was that the range hood and light were connected to that whole mess of wiring and now THEY WORK!!! The whole experience was just super. He clearly listened to what I needed, gave me a fair price, and cleaned up after himself. He even let me use his cordless screwdriver to install the fixture bracket. I have already made arrangements for him to come out and do some other work. If you are looking for a competent, honest, punctual electrician who keeps you in the loop every step of the way, Hufnagel is the way go. Also (and I told him I was going to put this in the report) He's easy on the eyes. Thanks Jason!

They did a wonderful job and they cleaned up and everything. They were very friendly, they did their work, and they didn’t goof around or anything. They got done in three and half hours instead of five like they thought it would take. I haven't talked to the inspector yet, but everything is working great.

I used them a month ago and they were fine. They actually came out twice and fixed it for me. He charged me exactly what he quoted. They called to confirm the time they were coming which I liked about them. They were very cordial.

Jason & his father were on time and always very friendly and honest. I feel completely comfortable with them working in my home and felt that they gave honest and fair opinions and estimates. Jason came to inspect my job and do an estimate the same day he had his wisdom teeth removed, that's dedication !

Jason Hufnagel stopped by my house on a Thursday night after work, on time, to look at my project list and get information for an estimate. He surprised me by having an estimate ready by Saturday morning. It seemed reasonable and I was on their work schedule for the following week. Jason and his father showed up on time and had the basement lights up quickly. I had to leave to return to work, but upon returning the bathroom ventilation fan, roof vent and timer switch were installed and the circuit panel trace was done. The only minor glitch was that a previous drywall repair above the switch box had crumbled during installation. They offered to repair it for a fee of $80, but I decided to do it myself. The living room electrical outlet that had stopped working ended up becoming the big project. This outlet had worked for almost a year after I moved into my 1939 Cape Cod. It is situated on a wall that forms the central staircase (both to the second floor and basement.) They ran out of diagnostic time on the first trip, but they did give me a status update before I returned home. While trying to find the Gremlin in my wiring, they did find some other minor issues in my downstairs bathroom (installation of a new switch) that they fixed at no charge. We worked out a time for them to return to complete the investigation and repair and Jason provided me with an estimate; $305. I cut a check for the initial estimate of $1655. They returned, again on time, and after roughly three more hours, drilling with one of the longest drill bits I've seen and a 7" x 14" hole in the drywall in my basement staircase, they had removed the old wiring and run new wiring from the main panel to the outlet. I give them a lot of credit for troubleshooting considering the odd placement of the outlet and that my basement is finished with drywall walls and ceilings. I cut a check for the agreed estimate price of $305. Jason again offered to return for $80 to repair the new hole. This time I agreed. Jason returned and completed the drywall repair on time. The work also required him to match the textured finish and it looked good. As with all of the work they performed, the area was very clean when they finished. I cut the final check for $80. I'm really happy with the work Hufnagel Electric did for me. In additional to the electrical work, they construction/installation skills for my job were solid. They provided professional estimates, showed up on time, were honest and up front with me about unforeseen difficulties that required work beyond the initial estimate and always asked for approval before starting work. Each of the three visits required that they worked in my house while I was at work and I was completely comfortable with that arrangement.

I called them and they came right out within two hours. The job was small and I was oping they would offer to do it right then and there. They did. (Why would I want to get an estimate and have them come back later when they can do it in a half hour right then and there? ) Professional job Impressed.

After inquiring on Angieslist, Jason Hufnagel called me back, I explained the project to him and he gave me a quote over the phone. Later that day he sent me a paper estimate through email which turned out to be dead on the final price (actually a little cheaper because of the coupon). On the day of service Jason and his father showed up exactly on time. They were very professional and explained the panel upgrade thoroughly and clearly. The work was neat and clean. I was very happy with their service and will definitely use them again.

Excellent. Both father and son came to my home on time, did exactly what I asked for and the son returned the next day to complete the job.

All I can say is that from the estimate to the work everything was done with complete professionalism, in a timely fashion.

They were very professional, on time and reasonably priced. We had a family party scheduled the same day and they finished well in advance of the function as they promised. My parents also used them to replace their breaker box and very satisfied. Highly recommend.
