Very professional.. Called to inform us of arrival time and kept to time stated. The outside work was a bit challenging since we were replacing an old gas light with a new electric one so a new line had to be run underground to the site. The whole process probably took longer than the guys had planned, but they were very conscientious and hard-working, and we are very happy with the finished result. They were also very neat with the inside work. No complaints.

We recently bought a house with a detached garage. There is a really large concrete driveway running between the house and the garage and garage did not have the electricity. I really wanted to install an automated garage door though. We have invited several estimators, some suggested drilling through the concrete, others suggested even more complicated solutions, Jason suggested putting up a post and hanging the wire. He also suggested that we put the post up ourselves in order to save money. He gave us all the requirements for the post installation. We called him once we were done and they came out to do the job several days later. Both gentlemen were very respectful, made all the wires look as clean as possible, there was no mess left from drilling, no sloppy wires hanging anywhere. they didn't even need to turn off the electricity in the house. They cut the tree branches that were on the way and advised us on the maintenance of those. We are extremely pleased with their service and will definitely use them for any other electrical work that we might need in the future.

Never received the estimate.

Jason was excellent explaining what needed to be done, giving his recommendations, and suggesting what could be done to prevent future issues. The previous electrician who had been out 2 - 3 times never gave any recommendations.

The overhead light in the laundry room would not work. They pin-pointed the issued and resolved it.

Great job and we feel confident that everything was done to specification. Infact we learned a few things about electricians that we did not know and are happy we know now. This is a great company.

I called Hufnagel Electric for a estimate to terminate some 220V line that I had run from my breaker panel in my garage through a hole outside of my garage. I explained to Jason that my wife and mother knew that I had done this work before as a electrician's helper when I was younger man. However both thought that I should contact a registered electrician to terminate the connections and have the work inspected for safety reasons. Jason said that he would be available to give me a estimate the following day, but had called me back later that same day and asked if he could come when I got home from work. I agreed and Jason showed up exactly when he said that he would! He explained what he was going to do, gave me a estimate and said that if I chose to use him, he could get started immediately. I was a little hesitant after seeing the price, but figured my wife and mother would sleep better at night if I used a experienced electrician. Jason got to work immediately and didn't stop until he completed the job, even with the aroma of pizza and wings lingering in the air as well as a invitation to join us several times. I was able to fill my tub while he was finishing up with the last bit of wiring, and started to heat it right after. His price also included a visit from a Electrical Inspector a few days later. So now my wife and mother are happy that I'm safe and I am happy to be using my hot tub! Thanks again Jason.

We are thrilled with Hufnagel Electric's work. Jason came out to do an estimate the week before the work was completed. He was punctual, frinedly, and professional. I had faith that they would do a great job from the very first meeting. Jason promised an emailed contract before they came out to do the work and we got one within just a few days. It was ours to review and we didn't have to sign until the day the work was to be completed. On the day they performed the work, Jason and his father arrived at our house and were no less than a complete pleasure to work with. Again, they were punctual, so friendly (they even introduced themselves politely to the people who were their that day installing our new windows!) and very professional. They ran the cable cleanly from our second floor to our first floor, mounted our television, and hooked up our cable box so that we would be ready to go. At the end of the day, they did a great job completing the work they outlined in a timely manner at the price they quoted...great work guys! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if need be.

Wonderfully responsive service - Hufnagel came out the same day to do a thorough one hour inspection inside and out to try and find out why we were experiencing intermittent power outages in part of the house. They came right when they said they would, called to keep us updated, explained their procedures and costs up-front and as they were working, and made cost and safety conscious recommendations for us. They quickly located several issues and made sure we were in no danger before leaving, fully explaining all options. They are coming back in two weeks' time to replace an old fuse box with an up-to-date model; meanwhile they have re-routed some taps to ensure an even load and made sure there are no loose connections. They sent their written proposal on the date promised.

We could not have been more pleased with the work of Jason Hufnagel and his father. We needed electrical service repair quickly following damage from a lightening strike. Despite a busy schedule, they were able to arrange to perform the work within a short time window. They identified our immediate need and other necessary upgrades in our electrical service. Their advice and guidance was expert and trustworthy. Their work was professional and they were reliable and personable. I would use them again without question and recommend them to anyone.

I had my kitchen remodeled the summer before and even though I paid for the above services, the kitchen remodel company refused to do the work because I have some aluminum wiring in my condo. I had another quote for this identical job and another electric company quoted me 3200 without patching the drywall when the lighting fixture was moved, plus $ 90.00 for the quote. ( the electrician said " I don't do drywall" ) Needless to say I was delighted to get a quote for 1200 from Hufnagel Electric who had many service awards from Angies List Both father and son were very professional and knowledgable about aluminum wiring. I was under a time deadline and theyfinished the work well within the deadline. They found leaking plumbing and a garbage disposal that was positioned incorrectly by the kitchen remodel company I used. They fixed the plumbing without charge but had to add on an additional electrical device which resulted in a slight increase in their charges. Jason then expertly patched the drywall in the ceiling. The kitchen remodel company did not recess under the cabinets that were refaced because the worker who did therefacing was in training and did not know how to do this. So the under cabinet lighting was expertly installed by Jason,who worked around this problem. I am very pleased with the work from this father/son team and would use them again.

Jason Hufnagel and his dad arrived on time and were so nice to work with. They went over the contract with me to verify the work that need to be completed. They werw done in the expected time frame and that is so appreciated when you have a busy life. The one thing I liked about Jason is that he told you in "laymans" terms what work needed to be done instead of talking over your head with fancy terms. I felt very comfortable leaving them to do their job while I went to work. They will definately be in my phone book for any future electrical work I may need done.

This was one of the best service providers I have EVER dealt with. I called in for an estimate and spoke with Jason Hufnagel, and from the first time I called to the time he completed the work, he was absolutely fantastic. I never had to leave any messages as he answered every single time I called. He was very kind and very professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He was willing to work around our very busy schedules, which was very much appreciated. Jason was very punctual as well, always arriving exactly when he said he would. The installation was very fast and it only took 1 day for completion. The price was fair for the amount of work that was involved. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and will continue to call them for any electrical service we need.

The experience was fine overall. They were very responsive; I had contacted other electricians, and it was hard to get them to answer my call. Hufnagel called me back within a matter of minutes and they did a good job with the installation.

The experience was excellent overall. I’ve used their services twice. Both times, they arrived on time, were efficient, and made sure the inspector was there to check their work. I had some problems with the motion detectors, and they showed up without any problems to fix them.

I called Jason and he was working on a job. He asked if he could call me back in 20 minutes and he did. He made an appointment to meet me and discuss what I needed done and give me an estimate. We went over everything and he gave me an estimate. He said he would email me a written estimate when he got back to the office and he did. It was exactly as we discussed it. I told him my husband and I would purchase the ceiling fans and lights we wanted and call him as soon as we got them to schedule the work. It took my husband about 2 weeks to get the fans and the ceiling light. I called Jason and we scheduled the job for the following week. He needed a whole day for the work, so he could finish it in one day and that was just what I wanted. He arrived on time on the day of the appointment. He and his assistant went right to work and they worked all day to finish it off. I hardly knew they were there. When they finished they, they cleaned everything up and had my husband come and inspect the work to see if we were satisfied. He gave us the bill and it was justwhat he said it would be. We paid it and we all parted happily. Everything works, just the way I wanted. Dealing with Jason was a pleasure from beginning to end, I will call him anytime we need electrical work. I hghly recommend him.

This was not the first contractor I contacted to upgrade my electric service coming into my home. I had other contractors give me estimates and then not call me back when it came to scheduling the job. Jason came out and gave me the estimate and he was so polite and personable that I hired him on the spot. We scheduled the work to be done in a couple of weeks even though I was having some other work completed and really needed this work to be done first. Imagine my pleasure when he scheduled the job for the following weekend to help me out. Jason and Dave were on time, personable and professional. They kept me aprised of everything they were doing, and cleaned up afterwards. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would not only use them for any electrical issue again, but would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family.

Jason has been easy to get in touch with, answers phone calls immediately or responds quickly. He is busy, but I was able to schedule an appointment for the estimate and work fairly quickly after calling. Although he did run later than the scheduled time, he did call to keep me updated, and upon arrival started working immediately, completed the job quickly, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterwards. Jason always explains his work thoroughly, and is very personable and pleasant. I would not hesitate to call Hufnagel again for future work.

I found Jason's company here on Angie's list. When I called Jason asking if he could perform the business I was asking for, he came to my house the same day to have a look. We agreed on him installing a Broan Hood in the kitchen. In addition he made me aware that we had old circuit brakes in our panel and he suggested to replace them, but he expressed twice that I did not have to do that if I wouldn't want to at that time. I was grateful that he drew my attention to that fact and did want him to replace the brakes. He was able to give me a special price, which I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else if I would have had to ask for that service later. On the day we had agreed for their service, Jason's father arrived already at 8 AM instead of 10 AM due to a little misunderstanding. Unfortunately I had to ask him to come back at the agreed time as we were not ready for them to start working yet. They did come back at 10 AM sharp, which I appreciated. I was never used to having people come so accurately on time like Jason and his father. They had estimated a working time of roughly six hours, but had already finished after about four hours. They cleaned each spot up they had worked on. They installed the Broan Hood like pros. All their work was quiet, and again they cleaned up everything after they were done. They even were so kind to take the huge cardboard boxes down to our trash cans, which would have been a problem for me. I recommend the company Hufnagel Electric for all your electric needs in the house. They are on time, work together quietly, and perform all installments required without any problem for a totally acceptable price. If I ever need electric work again, I will be happy to call them.

Jason was excellent. My wife and I moved into a new house about 1 year ago and ever since we moved in, we had trouble with breakers tripping in our living room and den. They were tripping so much that t times, we were unable to watch TV, have any lights on, or even charge a cell phone. When I called the housing company who sold us the house to fix the problem (everything in the house was under a 1 year warranty) they just came out and said the items were old and to get new. Finally, after had enough, I found Jason on Angie's List and called to schedule an appointment to have him come out and take a look. He was great from the start. He was very honest and up front with the costs and what to expect. He sent me over a pre-visit contract to make sure I understood the purpose of the visit and the cost (I really liked this, to avoid any confusion and hidden fees). He came out the next day to do the inspection. He was very good going through everything and all possible problems and solutions. He was also very good at explaining this along the way. This was helpful because my wife and I know nothing about electrical work. He found the problem and gave me multiple solutions to the problem and let me choose the way to go before telling me what he thought. We cme to the same conclusion that the breakers were too sensitive and to replace them. I thought he would quote the price and schedule another time to come out and fix it (thus charging another fee and labor). Instead, he went ahead and fixed in right then. I couldn't say enough about him. The price was more than reasonable for the services performed. I was most impressed with the smaller details tha he took care of. Electrical problems are a common thing in our housing development (a nnew house is being built next door right now) and I will be sure to tell them to call Jason when they need to have their issues fixed.
