Jason is extremely professional, prompt, and courteous. He did excellent work in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself asking where he could throw away the garbage. He gives a detailed invoice so you know exactly what you are paying for. I like that he responds to emails.

Jason came out to give an estimate on a room that I had some old plaster taken off of the walls. There had been some updating many years ago and it didn't look very safe. Jason was able to discern which wires were okay to leave and which ones were unsafe. He looked at other rooms in the house and told me that it would take two people a day to do all of the work. He emailed a contract and an estimate to me that evening. Jason and his father showed up right on time and were very pleasant. They were happy to answer any questions I had. They worked all day and were very neat in there work cleaning up as they went along. There was a problem I discovered the evening they left and that was that one of the outlets was not working. Jason was very apolagetic and offered to come out that weekend to fix it. As it was not that big of a problem I said it could wait until Monday. Again he and his dad got there just when they said they would and quickly found the problem and fixed it. Jason came in between the range of his estimate and I was really very pleased with the whole experience.

Jason came out early the next morning in order to add us to his daily schedule. He quickly took care of the dryer outlet swap and verified the circuits in the panel. He also answered a few questions on some other electrical work I was planning on having done. It was great to find a punctual, friendly, professional and knowledgeable Electrician that is up front about pricing. I plan on having him back soon to complete some additional work.

Jason and his Dad came right on time. They removed and boxed the old ceiling light/fans with all the parts. They installed the new ceiling fans/lights and made sure they worked properly. Very happy with the results.

Father and son team were pleasant and professional. Repairs were a little more extensive than anticipated. A solid effort by vendor to get an entryway fixture to function properly.

Jason was amazing! He was prompt with everything from the initial call, calling back when I had problems, to the install date. I had a unique situation with underground electric (not a underground electric community) that needed to be trenched and replaced, and Jason was able to talk me through/or figure out how to resolve all the issues that I ran into while dealing with the Electric company. Since the job was going to be so expensive, I opted to dig the trench myself and Jason was able to come out and inspect before the initial date of install to confirm that everything was going to be ok for him and his team to install the new line and panel. Jason did a fantastic job resolving all and especially my final issue with the Electric Company, who wanted me to partially dig out part of the re-excavated trench that I just filled because they did not properly mark the pole where they wanted the line to come out of the ground (Jason called them and the issue was taken care of.... fixed and paid for by the Electric Company).

They were professional, courteous, punctual, responsive-always called back; and most of all, were willing to work with us on the date of the work, and on completing the project asap with consideration of our travel plans.

Jason was able to fit my job into their busy schedule as I needed the work completed in order to sell my house. He came out, gave me a free estimate, and was able to complete the work in less than a week of me calling and confirming with him. He and another associate, I believe his name was David, came out and worked on the line off an on in between rain storms. During the rain, instead of calling it a day, they retreated to their truck and waited it out. I was impressed by this, as I imagine other contractors would have just called it a day and went home and rescheduled my job. The work was done quickly, despite the rain set-backs, and they were very professional.

I broke the chain on my ceiling fan in the bedroom when turning the light off - the lights would not turn on anymore. I went and bought a new fan and then called Jason to install it. I left a check on the kitchen table and put a key under the mat at the front door. Felt very comfortable having Jason in the house with out me being there. I came home from work and my new fan was installed and everything was cleaned up. This is the 2nd time I have used Hufnagle Electric and I would use them again if needed and have referred him to a couple of friends. Tricia

I called Hufnagel Electric for service on a Thursday afternoon and they were at my house the following Monday. The possible problem was a bad GFIC that provided power to my outdoor wheelchair lift that had failed and stranded me on it the day after a heavy rain. They recommended that I change out the outlet given the history of power problems, the age of the old outlet, evidence of wear/seal degradation and the lack of a full outlet cover. That was a no brainer choice for me--they had the parts and put a new unit in. I really appreciated their quick response to my call and the professional and courteous service. If another power failure occurs I'll know it's the lift and not the GFIC.

The guy was great, very friendly and nice. The work was well done and efficient.

Jason and his team were amazing. They were extremely professional and upfront with everything we needed to get the job done. Not only was everything performed as laid out, but the information provided to us was explained so it was very easy to understand. I felt confident with this understanding in all phases of the work being done. If something came up that wasn't origianlly discussed, Jason took the time to go over it and explain it until we fully understood what was happening. We couldn't be happier with the results. Jason even helped us handle a situation with the local power company involving the rearranging of lines from the main pole to our house. I can't tell you how much time and hassle that saved me! You always hear your friends talking about needing help with home improvement, but they're not sure if there are any honest and good people out there. Well, we found one in Hufnagel Electric. I would call Jason again in a heartbeat to handle any of my future electrical needs. I would strongly recommend you do the same.

Hufnagel Electric was extremely professional. They were able to fit us into their schedule due to our extremely tight schedule which was greatly appreciated. They were on time, called when they said they would, and easy to work with.

I called for my appointment and they were able to schedule the appointment for two days later. They called the next morning, stated they were in my neighborhood and was I available. I was and they were able to complete the work a day earlier than expected. I explained what I needed done, they assessed what I had and gave me a price it would cost. They were very professional, completed the work in a very timely manner and then explained what they had done once completed. I will definitely use them in the future.

I called Thursday 7/18/13 in the evening expecting to leave a message for a return call the next day. Jason answered the phone and I explained what was happening and he said he could come out the next day at 5:00pm - he worked around my schedule as I didn't get home from work until 4:15. Jason showed up and immediately got to work trying to figure out what was going on - of course the lights didn't go out on him!! Jason took the light and fan apart and re-wired them., he also replaced the GFI and Light Switch in the bathroom. So far so good - lights are staying on and I am happy Trish

We had a good experience working with Hufnagel Electric. They came when they said they would. Worked with my husband to get the best plan, even though it was different than the original plan that Jason and his dad came up with. They worked quickly and effeciently. And they totally cleaned up when done. I would definitely use them again in the future

Jason and his Father installed the fan in less than an hour. Boxed up the old fan for disposal. No problems.

Hufnagel Electric was able to get here a few days earlier than scheduled, which was good. They took out the old light post, removed some large, heavy decorative rocks around the light post, installed the new light post and replaced the heavy decorative rocks, which was not an easy task, and they did it in a very short period of time. The new light post looks beautiful! They asked me if I had any questions at the time, and I could not think of any then, but today I remembered I did not ask how to remove the top of the light post to change bulbs. Since this is a Sunday, I was thinking I would just leave a message, but Jason actually answered the telephone and told me how to remove the top. This is great service! I would definitely recommend Hufnagel to everyone! I think I forgot to mention in my initial review that they had asked me if I had any questions, and at the time I said I didn't. But afterward I thought of one....which was how to remove the top of the lightpost to change the bulbs. And called on a Sunday expecting an answering machine and the telephone was immediately answered by a live person! Amazing!

I couldn't be more pleased with the work and professionalism of Hugnegal Electric! When I first called for an estimate, Jason promptly returned my call, gave me a basic estimate over the phone, and then he and his father Dave were even able to come out that evening to evaluate the job in person. I received a written estimate and the job was scheduled for a few days later. Its obvious that Jason and Dave take pride in their work with their attention to details: the precise measurement for the location of the fan on a vaulted ceiling since there was not an existing light fixture, the best size down rod to use, their recommendation of upgrading the existing light switch to a double so I could have a switch for the fan as well as keep the switch that operates an outlet for my lamp, and all the way down to the clean up. They worked efficiently, explained what they were doing, and even gave me extremely valuable info about the insulation, or shall I say lack there of, in my attic. From my first call to them for an estimate till the day the job was completed, Jason and Dave exceeded all my expectations! I will certainly use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

Both Jason & his father Dave arrived at the appointed time. They were completely professional & explained each step they were completing in a way that was easy to understand. They installed quality materials, often replacing/fixing items that were quite aged. After installing the electrical panel, they were forced to work from a list from the inspector that was often poorly described & had photos that looked like a it was drawn by a 2 year old on a faulty Etch A Sketch. Despite these difficulties these 2 men managed to complete everything necessary to pass the inspection & meet all current standards. These men worked extremely well as a team, constantly communicating with each other like a well oiled machine. They didn't have access to the inspector's list prior to the appointment [I was able to discuss the list with Jason so they had a general idea of what they needed to accomplish]. Given the poor quality of the list [noted above], I was impressed at how quickly these men were able to identify the issue, discuss with me what they needed to do, the parts necessary & explain the approximate cost of each step before completing each item on the list. Overall, I felt like Jason & Dave treated my mother's home as if it were their own home they were working on. They also treated me in a polite, professional manner throughout the whole process. I was so impressed I had them give me an estimate for some work on my home & gladly used their services there. That work was also completed by Jason precisely in the same manner on the work completed at my home. I highly recommend Hufnagel Electric for your electrical needs!

Needed this work done quickly and Hufnagel was able to accommodate. Jason was very good about scheduling and notifying me of arrival times. Jason and his crew showed up at the time promised were very professional and cleaned up any mess. Would definitely recommend.
