Fantastic about covers it. From the responsiveness, to the estimate, to their professionalism, to the completed job. Was under the gun as far as time went (our own fault), and Jason found a way to work us in. Really appreciated it! The estimates were in line with/a bit lower than others we received, but there's something about Jason that made us want to work with them. Also liked that they have an independent inspector come out, included in the cost. He showed up with his Dad and Steve and got the job done quickly, efficiently, and without additional cost. They are now our "go-to" electricians should we need one in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hufnagel!

I called on a Friday morning about 930 am and explained I had no power since Thursday evening. I was very pleased these folks went above and beyond to Schedule me in( All other providers I called went back and forth as to when they could come out, leaving me the the anxiety of not having power all weekend! ) They came before noon and had the Power back on in 20 minutes! They explained in detail what was needed to be replaced and the and they were very professional. I would recommend give these folks a call first!!!!

I contacted Hufnagel Electric regarding some electrical issues at my house. I spoke to Jason and he said someone would be out to make an estimate the next day. Steve came out and looked at all my issues, explained everything I wasn't aware of, and promised a formal estimate in about a weeks' time. I had the estimate within a day. They scheduled the work for about two weeks later. When the day came, they arrived on time. During the work, they found some additional issues with the grounding that needed to be corrected. Jason called me at work and gave me a very clear picture of the additional work and the exact additional amount. After that, the work was completed in half a day, exactly as estimated, even with the extra work. All in all, they were extremely professional and punctual, and I was completely pleased with the work. I would definitely use this provider again.

Jason and Steve called with an ETA and arrived exactly when they said they would. Very friendly, professional, well dressed. Steve quickly went to work - without the need to turn off the circuit. Jason recommended a new cover to avoid drowning the GFI in the future. The work was completed in short time, including the new cover. This is my first Angie's List experience. Hufnagel will be my go to electrical service in the future.

REALLY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS. EXTREMELY THOROUGH AND EFFICIENT. POLITENESS AND PROFESSIONALISM WAS EVIDENT THEIR ENTIRE TIME HERE. I NEVER PICTURED MY DOWNSTAIRS OFFICE AND LAUNDRY ROOM TO LOOK SO GOOD! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF THE BEST IN AOL THINGS ELECTRICAL!

By FAR the best company I've hired to do work for me in my 15 years of home ownership. Called them on a Tuesday in a panic because I had just opened my pool and the filter wasn't running. Seems the breaker would trip every time I would turn it on. Jason was there the very next day and said he would have to come back either Friday night or Saturday morning. Not only did he keep in constant contact with me the next couple days, he actually showed up EARLY Saturday morning and have everything fixed in no time at all. I've had bad luck these past couple years in various projects that I've done with either workers showing up late, stop responding to calls or just never showing up. It's refreshing to know there's companies like this out there. Just wish he did construction and everything else so I wouldn't need to use anyone else ever again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

they arrived on time and went straight to work. my house is old and in bad shape electrically. they gave me detailed explainations of everything they needed to do and asked for my approval of anything.that might additionally need done. they know what they are doing! they cleaned up everything before they left after a long day

A two man team came and did the work. They had estimated 3 days but had actually done it in two. Gave a thorough report of what they did and what future stuff we may want to consider. They were great to work with and we would definitely use them again.

Jason is extremely professional, courteous, clear, and enthusiastic. I had ideas about what I'd like to have done in my home with regards to electrical upgrades, and Jason & his colleague provided a lot of good ideas, suggestions, and examples. They provided a very comprehensive inspection of my home electrical system.

Father and son electricians - very professional. On time, professional, quick and they cleaned up after themselves beautifully. Would recommend them highly.

We had rather old 100 amp load center and needed to replace it to 200 amp. Called Hufngagel Electric. Jason came quickly and gave an estimate, see above. The price seemed fair and we signed on the deal. An appointment was made a month ahead. They came (Jason, his dad, and older brother) around 8 am and were done around noon. Inspector came a week later. Everything was very smooth and professional.

Jason came out for the estimate visit. He was very thorough and explained and showed me all the problems. He gave me a few options to solve my problems (at various costs) He was very neat and professional and completed the job promptly. Had one other helper with him. They showed me what they were doing and how they fixed everything Would definitely use them again.

Quote was very detailed and professional. Scheduling was easy and they actually fit us in ahead of schedule when a cancellation occured. Work was professional and fairly efficient. Cleanup was done after each day. No issues. We would use Hufnagel again.

I honestly recommend Jason and Steve for any electrical jobs that you need. They were very professional from the time they provided me with the estimate and straight through the job. During the estimate, Jason listened to all of the items that I wanted to have completed and went through each item by item explaining to me exactly what would be involved and the costs of each. He answered all my questions. I received a written estimate a couple days later that was exactly as explained to me at my home. I was able to be scheduled for service the next week. Upon arrival Jason and Steve were again extremely professional and got to work. They consulted me from time to time during their work. At one point, there was a problem found with the light that was installed in my shower and they needed to trouble-shoot to find the source or the problem and correct it safely and to code. Jason explained this to me and the extra costs involved - it took approximately an hour for him to find the problem and correct it back to the way it should be; there was no drawing out the problem to raise the amount of money I owed, just good honest work at finding the issue and fixing it. The guys worked very well and I feel that I was given superb electrical service and I feel confident knowing that when Jason and Steve left that I had received the best electical work that I could. I would not hesitate to use Hufnagel Electric again, matter of fact, I will be using them again soon when we move on to the next house project. Hire Hufnagel, you will be pleased with the service, the professionalism, and the price. When Jason and Steve were leaving, I was joking that they are my new best friends --- little do they know how seriously I meant that....Great Job Guys - keep up the good work, Ray and I appreciated the work you provided for us!!

Jason is the best contractor at communicating with the customer that I have seen in quite some time. Whether by call, text or email, he has that part down right. Very responsive to questions, etc.The work was done as promised and on time. The programmable switch that I first select did not have the correct program steps. Jason worked with me to find an acceptable replacement and installed it. Having worked in industry managing electricians/mechanics/etc., it was a pleasure working with Jason and crew. You will not find a better electrician.

Dealt with Jason. Scheduled service the next day. Called me while on site to explain the issue and then, since he was working at my Mom's house, sent me a follow-up email that evening so I had all the details (very thoughtful of him). Would definitely call him again.

Excellent from start to finish! Jason is an excellent communicator and has more integrity than most of the contractors I have dealt with over the years. He shows up when he says he will and does the work exactly as described. His estimates are clear and professional. It is clear he pays attention to detail in his work and makes sure the job site is left in better shape than when he starts the work. We went with Hufnagel not because they had the best price, but because of the quality of the work and the integrity of the employees. They will be the first place we call for additional work in the future.

I called Hufnagel electric this AM and spoke with Jason. Told him all my electricity went out in my bedroom when I went to turn on my overhead light. I had checked my circuit breaker but it looked liked everything was fine. After talking with Jason I figured put there were some other circuit breakers and sure enough there was one that was tripped. Jason explained it may had been a fluke but if it happens again I need to have it looked at. You better believe I would call him again! He was so helpful!!

I was able to schedule an appointment within a week after receiving the quote, their team was extremely professional and up-front about all costs, and the work was excellent. I highly recommend them, and would absolutely use them in the future.
