Prompt , courteous service from my initial email contact thru the completed project. Without a doubt, the most pleasent and professional home service I have ever experienecd. Arrived exactly on time. Completed a quick efficient estimate of both time and supplies needed to complete the job. Then immediately getting to the job, with no disruption of our daily home routine. Kept me posted on progress along the way. The project was completed expediciously, without rushing the job. Cleaned up the work area so well, that you would never know they were there. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. A+ Hufnagel Electric!! I will definately recommend your company to my friends.

They were nice in the beginning but when they came out to do the job they were not prepared and did not have any of the lights. After purchasing all the necessary material they hung the lights and said to let them know if I wanted to height adjusted and they would come back out. After a few days I decided I did want the light raised so I called them back and left a message. They called me back several times but I was not able to answer them during the time.

They had installed an outside light a year ago and it quit working. They came over to fix and had to replace the light. Nothing was wrong with the original installation - there was paint on the sensor and the light burned out. They made two trips to resolve, only charged for one! Problem solved. Great guys to work with!

Hufnagel Electric had prompt follow up to initial call. Excellent detective work to uncover the problem. Interactive with customer to ensure both were on same page for all actions. Price is right for work completed. Jason & Dave are very professional with customers.

Jason was extremely responsive online, gave me an estimate based on my description, and it was very easy to schedule an appointment. When Steve started to replace the fan, it revealed an unsafe junction box that also needed to be replaced. They pulled out the old junction box without damaging the surrounding plaster, replaced it, installed the fan with light kit, and cleaned everything up completely. GFCIs went quickly and easily. Extremely professional -- would definitely go back to them in the future.

Everything went perfectly. Dave gave me great advice by phone about what to buy before I even contracted with them to do the work. Old post by garage posed a problem but Dave and his men solved it and new post and lamp look wonderful. Same thing with porch light. They were professional, on time and very polite. Also very careful about saving old lights since they were actually nautical lanterns my late husband installed.

My call regarding getting electrical work done was promptly returned. We set up a time for them to come out and give me an estimate. The 2 small jobs were done at that visit. The installation of the post lamp was a major project, as electric had to be run out into the yard, traversing a thick basement wall and being run beneath walkways. I was emailed an estimate for that work in a couple of days, and there were phone calls to me to insure that we both understood exactly what was to be done. I was called the morning of the day they were to come to install the post lamp, and they arrived promptly. The project involved lots of trenching and was not an easy installation. My yard was left in good shape where they had to trench. The work was completed in a timely manner. They were very professional and friendly. The quality of the work was excellent, using quality materials. They cleaned up very well after themselves and had me check the work to make sure I was satisfied. I was very satisfied and will use them again, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

They were a little slow responding to a request I made on their website but once they did call they were able to come out that same day. They were very polite & professional. They quickly found the issue & fixed it quickly. Very happy! I was told by a friend that the price seemed high but it was about what I thought it would be.

This provider was very accomodating to my schedule and despite short notice, he was very punctual and got the job done well. Providers were very friendly and professional- communicated well to the client.

Having had an experience with an arcing panel in my apartment, I was pretty anxious when my newly-delivered washer in my new home caused my lights to flicker continuously while the machine was agitating. Dave and Jason were able to come out the same day at 5. They went over everything from the socket the machine was plugged into to the panel and subpanel, making some minor corrections. But tightening loose grounds, etc did not resolve the flickering. At one point, it was thought to be a faulty machine. The smoking -- or rather, the arcing -- gun turned out to be the meter socket. That was a potential fire waiting to happen. They stayed until the job was done, and done correctly, working until after dark. No more flickering! They were very professional and detail oriented; a pleasure to work with, happy to answer any and all questions. Jason even waived a fee on the bill because he forgot to explain it in advance. I can rest easy now, knowing all is in order with my system. I will definitely be calling in the future for any electrical needs.

Called on Saturday morning and left a message which was returned in about 15 minutes. Technician dispatched within 40 minutes. I was not there for the service call but the technician kept me updated with texts, photos, and calls. All was explained in good detail and the work appears to be of good quality.

Showed up the same day I called at 6:30pm. Thankful for that kind of service since I was without air conditioning and the house was heating up. Extremely professional. Explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. Really put me at ease that he knew what he was doing and that there was no risk of me using the air conditioning after he was finished.

Went well. They provided the service per the description or the deal and were able to fit me in quickly, with the busy summer schedule. They reviewed and discussed future work that was requested. A proposal was quickly provided for a days labor of a (3) man crew, and a projection on materials, providing a rough budget number. Like many homes in the area, my house is older and will have some unknowns during the work. So it was nice to have an upfront discussion about these, instead of being caught off guard.

Jason was very professional from scheduling right through the completion of all work. Explained everything in advance and showed up right on time. Quickly identified problem with faulty bathroom lights and replaced switch along with some wiring. He also checked GFI's for the bathrooms. Finally, he checked a light dimming issue due to power surges. These guys will be my electricians on a permanent basis. Very satisfied.

My experience with Hugnagel Electric was excellent! I called about a week ago to setup an appointment to ground the flexible CSST gas line on my house and replace a weather head on the outside of the house. They quoted me a fair price and returned all of my calls promptly. On they day of the scheduled appointment, they were even able to come a little early and went straight to work. The electricians were knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. They took the time to explain what they were doing and provided me with additional information regarding maintenance and proper grounding. Highly Recommended!

I had another company come in and give me a very high estimate and they scared me into thinking I had to move quickly to fix these problems and they never called me to set up an appt. to do the work. This worked in my favor! I had time to get a second opinion and called Hufnagel Electric. When Jason arrived, I found him to be very personable and he carefully explained everything he felt I needed and told me I did not have a dire situation and not to worry. His price was considerably less. He and his crew arrived and were very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them or hire them again in the future. I now have piece of mind that my home is safe and secure and will pass a home inspection with flying colors. I am still waiting for the label for inside panel and I just found out he had left the attic light on. Oops!

He installed the new kind of light socket in the kitchen and hooked up a motion detection switch. He answered a lot of questions as well. Very helpful!

They were great to work with from scheduling through installation. A crew of four arrived on time, were very professional,and left no mess (they drilled four holes in the ceiling plaster). Our new fans look great. We plan to hire again for some other electrical projects.

Called them on Sunday and they were there on Monday to replace an outlet that had shorted out in the rain. The outlet was replaced as well as a plug to an extension cord that had been plugged into it when it had shorted out snd fried the outlet. They showed up on time and completed the work.

also install a SURGE PROTECTOR DEVICE. I also asked them how we could know which breakers went to which lights/ outlets, and they said that was a circuit/ panel trace, and they could fit it in that day to save a service call charge at a future date. They did all of the work in several hours, cleaned up afterwards, and couldn't be nicer to work with. Also, Mr. H noticed that I was missing a weather head outside the house from when our 65 ft. tree blew over in a storm several years ago. I was told at that time that "we didn't need a weather head", so we never bothered. Apparently that redirects water from rain from the wires going into the house, and we had past episodes of water in our panel box (never a good thing). So Mr. H put two and two together and they also installed a weather head the same day. A lot of work was done, there were three electricians at this visit; Jason, Steve and the dad, Mr. H., and we felt that the price was fair. You don't want to take a chance when electricity is involved, and i saw the evidence of that when they were here the first time to correct a very shabby and dangerous situation in our wiring. Can't put a price on safety and security, but their pricing seems very fair. My husband and I are very pleased with the work and value we received, and will absolutely use them again. As a last note, Mr. H noticed that the caps were missing on our deck outlet the prior visit, and he replaced them for us. This installation was not their work. it was done by someone else. He is like a hawk, sees things that are wrong and is very conscientious about his profession.

Steve came out to give me an estimate on time. He was helpful in giving advice for what I wanted done. After I scheduled an appointment, the crew came on time. Although I wasn't there, My son said they went right to work and were very professiional. They finished quickeer than my son expected, and cleaned up after themselves completely. They needed to run an extra line when installing the pot lights due to existing wiring, which they got my approval on, but that is why I'm not sure what the final price is. They are going to bill me for the unexpected work which they estimated at another $140. There were a couple very minor issues I saw, but overall an excellent job. I would reccomend them to anyone, and I will call upon them for any future work.

From the very start our experience with Hufnagel Electric has been great. They have been very professional and polite, and worked with us to try and schedule our appointments. By it's nature, electrical work is not cheap, but Hufnagel Electric was very upfront about their pricing and their work is high quality. We are very pleased with the work Hufnagel has done and will keep them in mind for any future work we need to have done!
