They are very good. I scheduled it with them. They gave me a reminder call because I am very busy and I sometimes forget. They showed up on time. They explained exactly what work they were going to do base on our first meeting and they did it exactly I wanted them to. They were very precise.

My electricity went off during holiday week. Dave & Jason came 7:30 am the next day & spent almost 3 hrs trouble shooting & making repairs. Very professional & nice to work with; took time to explain problems.

He went above and beyond by fixing shoddy original wiring and helped us mount the chandelier. Very professional would hire again!

They were punctual, courteous, provided detailed explanations. I was very pleased with their professionalism and will use them again

Service was excellent, they were on time and quickly got to work taking outlets apart to find the issues with them. I filled them in on what I could recall of each issue to help prevent wasted time going over things I had already checked. They asked lots of questions and provided tons of feedback on what they were doing as they continued working. They also suggested items I could do while they worked to prepare them for any other areas or items they may need to look at, all in the name of keeping things moving forward to save me money. All of my issues were resolved by the end of the time they spent there, most were just issues of my incorrect wiring but the issue involving several outlets not being powered was due to an outlet (I hadn't checked because it was still working) that had started to burn up and upon replacement all outlets were getting power. They also reviewed my circuit breaker panel that was installed by another company (to replace a fuse panel) upon purchase of the house and noted several items that were not up to code and which I am having rectified by that company. All in all very professional service and I had a feeling when choosing them that they would resolve all my issues and they did just that.

They were excellent. Took about 3 hours they charged me just over $300. ( I have no idea if that is reasonable or not but I was happy!) They were super nice after the initial call (I called at the end of a long day and the owner was a bit grouchy and short on patience.) But we resolved all that and they were wonderful!

The work went smoothly and was he explained what was being done and why. He made suggestions for 2 future projects that I was considering. Very professional.

Very well; Dave Hufnagel was very easy to work with; if I left voice mail, he called that same day. He was responsive and very nice. His price was very fair and the work was completed to the satisfaction of an inspector, required specifically for this condo.

They informed me that they would call before heading to the house so I could leave work and meet them at the house. I thought this was very accommodating so I did not have to miss too much work. Unfortunately, they did not call until they were knocking at the door and no one was home. I rushed home to meet them and we walked through the project. Later that day I was informed that they were not interested in the project despite the fact that it was exactly as described. If you are not interested in rewiring 4 rooms of a house that is gutted I would think you could figure that out without me taking the time to meet you in the middle of the day.

Hufnagel was quick to call me back after they received my work request, and once we discussed what I needed, I was emailed a written estimate. On day of service, Jason and his partner were prompt, checked with me as to precisely where I wanted each of the outlets installed and also offered their recommendations for locations. I had one deletion and addition to the work list, which Jason was able to handle and prepared a modified estimate on his ipad. Final job looked really great! They cleaned up the installation debris. I would definitely use Hufnagel again - finding a good electrician can be difficult to do!!!

From the moment they arrived they were courteous, professional and very competent. They kept me informed of what they were doing every step of the way and didn't do anything without informing me and getting my permission to continue. I am so very, very glad to have found them on Angie's List and will DEFINITELY call them in the future should I need any further service. I will recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs electrical work done. I was confident when they left my house that all the electrical problems had been taken care of.

Excellent! After four years of troubles with my AC unit and dealing with multiple companies, Hufnagel was a huge relief. They were professional and thorough. They showed me the problems and explained their repairs. They worked efficiency and were honest. After multiple diagnostic visits (and fees!) by other companies, they needed one visit and the problem was fixed. They give an up-front estimate of the costs; it may seem a little more than other companies, but the quality is worth it (and it will cost less than the repetitive visits by other companies). I only wish I had found them earlier- would have saved me thousands of dollars and headaches! Highly recommend. I used them again later for repairs while selling my house.

Finally, someone who provides great and reliable work from beginning to end. The communication was excellent - they actually contacted me on the initial request and answered questions before and after the quote. The quote was reasonable and the work done exceptionally well. They arrived on time and were very courteous and professional. Some of the supplies in the quote were not needed and they didn't charge us for them. I would use these guys again in a minute.

They provide timely and accurate estimates. They arrive on time or call and say they will be late. The start working when they arrive and work continuously. They are are courteous and clean-up when they are complete. I was pleased with the work that was done and with the employees. I would hire this company again and in fact have recommended the company to a friend.

Jason called before 15 minutes before arriving. The work was started right away in the attic to add the new flood light. All work was completed in about two hours. Hufnagel Electric has done work in the past for us and we have always been pleased with their work. This time was no different. They are always professional and they gave information about the new fixtures installed and tips for maintaining them.

Things went very well. The owner/ service provider explained everything thoroughly. I learned a lot about electricity and safety. He was vey knowledgeable. He and assistant were very thorough and skilled in their work.

Great Jason and Nick were on time and examined the work to be done went right to work showed great professionalism. I asked him to do additional work while he was there which he did quickly and it looked good !!!! While there he took a quick look at the service panel and suggested future work that may be done. Overall a good experience, will use his company's services again.

He arrived as scheduled, completed the work quickly and well. Examined the 2 other fixtures for an estimate, explained options and recommended a better solution for one wall fixture (reading lamp). Will use Hufnagel for this upcoming job as well.

Jason was just who we were looking for. We are refinancing our mortgage and the appraiser required us to have a GFI outlet installed in the kitchen. We are under a tight time limit and found Jason through his advertised special for just such an outlet replacement. He responded immediately and arrived within 2 days of our contact. The work was a little more involved than a simple outlet replacement but he kept the price very reasonable and was highly professional. He explained the work needed and confirmed the price before he began. He even fixed an error in the wiring of a switch at no extra cost. A+

I had previously contacted them approximately 3 times for estimates on other projects and had not chosen to use their services. The reason I contacted them was because I was willing to give them the chance to earn my business, but if they are consistently slow, their prices are high, or their service is not good, I would not want to use them. The provider responded by saying, "We want to dedicate our man hours to customers who give us business and generate profit. He continued to speak to me rudely and unprofessionally. I told him that I was not going to continue the conversation any further and would be leaving a review with Angie's List.

Every contact I have had with this company has been nothing but professional. They are extremely easy to work with. Two electricians came to my house to replace a kitchen light and install an outdoor fixture - the outdoor fixture I had been told by another electrician that it would be difficult to install and would cause damage to the plaster inside wall. Hufnagel was able to install the fixture with no damage, which I was very happy about. They left no mess for me to clean up and got the work done quickly. I will definitely choose them for future work.

Jason and Steve were great! They completed the work I originally requested, advised me of something that ended up not needing fixed (that I thought did), and advised me of a faulty switch that was a hazard that needed replaced. They completed were on time exactly, completed all of this work in under 2 hours, and stayed within the estimate I was originally given. I would definitely recommend them and plan on using them again if we need anything else.

It took me a long time to find just the right company for my job. I was looking for "one stop shopping" -- a company that did electrical work AND who knew about landscaping. That's how I decided on Hufnagel Electric. We started the process with Hufnagel in April 2015 and the work was completed May 2016. Seems like a long span of time, but I mention this because I changed my mind many, many times as to what I wanted and had a lot of questions. Jason (the owner) and Steve were absolutely wonderful and patient with me during this time. Steve came out first, asked what I wanted, took lots of pictures and made suggestions. Jason answered my questions quickly and emailed me many revised proposals. Another reason for the year-long process was that they cannot do outdoor digging during the cold months. Once I decided exactly what I wanted (October 2015), the guys came out in November and did the interior work (pull chain lights in two closets and a junction box in the attic). Jason told me they do not do outdoor work (digging) because of the hard ground from December 1 - April 1, but that he would put me in the books for April 1. Due to lots of rain, they weren't able to come out until April 7 -- this is when they did the necessary interior electrical work and installed the transformer/timer/dusk-to-dawn sensor on the side of the house. There were a couple of weeks when I didn't hear from Jason regarding when the actual landscape lights would be installed, so I emailed him on April 25 and he responded 20 minutes later (his response time was terrific every time I sent him an email). He indicated that he really wanted to get my work done and didn't want to cancel on me again (he only had to cancel because of the rain) so he put me in the books for that Friday AND the following Wednesday (just in case). Wouldn't you know, it rained that Thursday and Friday, but the following Wednesday was perfect and Jason came out, as promised. He did a good bit of work himself before his dad and Brian came out to help. They removed our existing lamp post and installed a receptacle in its place, dug up a portion of the front yard to run cabling (leaving some extra cabling in case we eventually wanted to add more lights) and installed three bronze lantern style path lights and an up light under my dogwood tree. All the while, Jason let me know what he was doing and asked my opinion on exactly where I wanted everything. After everything was done, you couldn't even tell that they had dug a trench in my yard. I am sooooo happy with my new landscape lighting and my kids are thrilled that they can now see inside their closets. I would absolutely call Jason again for any kind of electrical work I need.
