The floor drains were stubbed out high with the final height to be set as the floor was poured and finished. Tthe floor drains are not set to a uniform height and one in particular was set so low that the floor had to dip down some six inches over a 36 inch diameter around the drain. When I asked why that drain was so low, Mark said "I don't know why he did that", I suppose meaning his helper worked that area of the floor. I paid for the job only because I hated the thought of having to break all that conrete up again. During the next year, cracks begain to radiate from low floor drain all the way to the adjoining walls. This was obviously because the concrete was much thinner in this area to match the incorrect height on the drain. I called Mark Britt and asked him to stop by and have a look at the problem so that we could work out some kind of remedy. He answered my first call and said he would come over and look at the problem but never did show up. I called him several times over the next 6 months but could only leave a message since he would not answer my calls. I finally had to saw out about 100 square feet of my new floor and repaired the it myself, so now I have a brand new floor with a 10 by 10 section that is obviously a different pour. Mark Britt did a reasonable job except for the drains but don't expect him to stand behind his work. The bottom line is I wish I never called him to begin with.

Description of Work: I hired Mark Britt concrete to install an exposed aggregate patio at my home. The pictures speak for themselves. The first photos show the patio when Mark's team was done with it and wanted payment. You can see that half of the patio is much darker. The second few photos (that are really splotchy) is how the patio looked after they "fixed" it. Mark came back a third time and stripped all the sealer off and re-sealed it but it's still pretty splotchy and the texture is inconsistent due to all the additional pressure washing that had to be done in several areas. I would not use Mark Britt Concrete again or recommend him.
