The service turned out really well. He came in and knew what it was right away. He came right back with the part and fixed the dyer on the same day which I appreciated.. He did a good job and was prompt. I enjoyed his service.
Description of Work: He fixed a dryer for us.

Called him on April 20, because our Kenmore dishwasher kept blowing fuses. His serviceman was very prompt and came the next morning. We were so pleased. Test run worked after he came back 8 days later and changed the main circuit board. Next cycle - it blew again. Five calls until he picked up the phone and sent the serviceman back a week later this time. Now he changed the heating elements and had to take everything apart to look at it. Two weeks later I am calling and calling - where is the part and the serviceman? Finally another week and he shows up and replaces more parts. Now I am into the dishwasher for the price of just buying a new one. Guess what? After the test cycle is done, next day on the first cycle it does the same thing it has been doing since April (its now mid June!). After four more calls I reach Ralph who tells me he is out of ideas ???? and has a call in to the Kenmore Service Center technicians. He never calls back. I call him twice more over the next week. Nothing. I think he is selectively answering calls with caller ID. Now its June 25. I give up. Check on line and find in the forums it is likely a simple wire short and by following directions - I myself take it apart, find a wire with a blackened spot on it - replace the wire in ten minutes and guess what? Its fixed. Ralph Schultz took two plus months, charged more than the machine was worth in his quest to "guess" what the problem was and stopped taking and returning calls when he decided he was done with us. By the way - I never screamed or threatened on the phone, was always patient and professional (perhaps my problem!) and got no where. I am still waiting for him to propose refunding at least the labor and service call money. Don't hold my breath? Right. FYI - never trust an appliance service technician who shows up with just an old tool box full of homeowner carpentry tools.
Description of Work: Just out of warranty dishwasher kept blowing fuses internally. His serviceman swapped out all major parts until cost was more than buying a new one - still not fixed - after two months - and he stopped returning calls.

Started out just fine - a service tchnician came right a away and looked at the machine and gave me an estimate for labor and parts, but it went downhill from there. The said they would call back when the parts were in but the never did; I called myself about a week after they said the parts would be in and they were. Twice I set up appointments to have the serviceman come an do the repair and twice they didn't show and never even called to say they weren't coming (or were going to be late, as turned out to be the trouble the second time). The third time they finally showed up but were supposed to call before they got there and didn't so they had to wait for me. The work itself was professional and the servicemen were courteous. The final price was as quoted.
