I closed on the house on October 22 and at that time; they forgot to install the air conditioning unit, or to put in a lock to the front door and they had patched up the walls outside, but they never bothered painting them. Those were the three major things and I told them even though I closed on October 22, I wasn’t moving in till November 6, so they had about two and a half weeks to get this work done. When I confronted them about it, he told me that I was trying to harass him and I was putting him off, instead of him putting me off. The day I moved in, the painters were there, the air conditioning people were there, they tried fixing the door, and they eventually had to replace the front door but the air conditioning unit is still not hooked up, he said we would have to wait for the warm weather. I had a problem with the granite, with the flooring and other things but that were little things. The person I spoke with would have been the head guy of the company, I wrote emails to him and he sent his manager, Ryan Braun out for things but he quit since then. After I moved in, there had to be a forty-five day review for them to come back out, fix, and patch up things that needed to be fixed, but after sixty-two days, I finally emailed them because they hadn’t contacted me and I got a hold of him after about eighty days. I gave them the list of things that had to be taken care and they took care of the leak around the water meter but other stuff like the flooring, the granite, and few more still needs to be finished. They are not billed because the house is warranted for a year so after forty-five days, they are supposed to come out and take care of stuff and after eleven months, they are supposed to do the same. I have been fighting with this guy since the beginning. The workmanship is poor and he doesn’t want to stand behind his work. I paid him for the home but I have no idea what the repairs will cost. They put no membrane under the flooring; they put glue so there are spots on the wood when it is cleaned. I thought the house was fairly priced. I would not buy another house from them ever.
Description of Work: I used Weaver Master Builders to build us a home. I am still using them because they are still coming out and repairing stuff that weren’t done right the first time. They last came out to fix a water leak in my home.

They were very polite and helpful, but we decided to go with a small local builder that gave us more flexibility in our options rather than just choosing package A-B-or C. We also were not impressed with the quality of the kitchen cabinets in any of the packages. The mid grade package added a 50% increase to our price which was not at all worth it to us. We saved $100,000 by going with a small local contractor that we have used in the past to do remodeling work for us.
