Description of Work: I made contact with PROFESSIONAL FURNITURE RESTORATION INC In mid October 2014 in regards to a 1920's mahogany chest. The chest had structural issues and some serious wear and tear issues. The chest came from my mother's house, and I was in no hurry to have it finished. The delivery men picked up my chest when they said they would. |The delivery men wisely advised me to retain the key to the working locks on the drawers. |In February 2015, after hearing nothing, I called to inquire on the status of my mahogany chest. (I DID say I was not in a hurry, but.... ) I was a bit concerned that my piece had been picked up, but I had no paperwork nor a claim tag of any sort. |The person answering my call vaguely remembered something about my furniture, but not much. On re-sending a photograph by email, all was remembered. |I received a call about three weeks later that my chest was nearing ready, and that return delivery date and time should be set. |The day came, and my beautifully repaired and refinished chest arrived! |It looked awesome! |BUT. The original antique caster wheels were not present. |I called. I was informed that reinstallation of these often is the source of damage to leg parts. I asked to have them returned- just to have them with the original furniture, and not to reinstall them to avoid damage. I was assured that someone would come by to drop them off. |The brass drawer handles had all been replaced, the originals not returned. I am a bit disturbed that the handle anchors are now ordinary eye-loops that can be bought from any hardware store. | |The "before" photos show all of the handle parts are present. | |I want to reiterate that the wood repair and refinish are awesome. |I would like to add that perhaps I should have removed and retained anything that could be unscrewed or taken off. | |I have now learned about questions I did not know to ask. | | |

Description of Work: Restored/refinished 60-year old queen-size headboard and footboard, including pickup and delivery

Description of Work: Removed sanded and applied new finish on all my kitchen wood cabinets. All work was top quality. The workers were kind courteous.

Description of Work: Mr. Golla refinished and restored a family heirloom, a 1925 secretary designed by my grandfather.

Description of Work: Mahogany bedroom suite was refinished. The highboy had a severe gouge in the front. The gouge was eliminated and there is no evidence it was ever there. Also there was an antique rocking chair with large crack in the seat that we requested to be repaired.
