Description of Work: We ask for an estimate to have our patio redone. Cochran quoted " 608" The day he came and started to remove old cement and patch the cracks, he ask us for half down. No problem. Went to write him a check for & 2 to 3 hundred and he said oh no, 2 to 3 thousand! He was charging us actually $6,008.00 to patch and resurface our patio! We told them no, we cannot afford that! So he patched what he did, filled in the cracks, and told us he would put a stain on top. He did all that in about an hour. He left with his $ 750 and as the "paint" not "stain" dried, many areas were missed and holes in cement did not get paint. We called and said we were not happy with the job. He came and looked at it the next day, never came to the door, just made a gesture toward the house and left. He was also very rude and hung up on my husband before he looked at his work. He lied about using "stain" as we called Sherwin Williams and they verified it was only a paint. Which is also flaking off! We are senior citizens and feel we were taken advantage off by this very rude man. I would never recommend his company to my worst enemy!

All of the floors in my my house are unlevel and have cracked. The floors are so unlevel in my kitchen, dining room and family room that I have to tear up all of my engineered wood flooring to have the floors releveled with Ardex leveling compound because the locking wood floors were separating everywhere because of the unlevelness of the floor. I actually hired a floor inspector from Harrisburg, PA to look at it because I thought the wood floors were defective and he said that he has never seen concrete floors so unlevel before. When you walk up from the basement and turn right into my kitchen, there is a downward ramp into my kitchen with a 1 1/2" drop because of the unlevelness of the floors. The stamped rear patio might be some of the worst stamp work that I have ever seen. The 2x2 square stamps that were used look awful. First of all, the stamp joint lines do not line up so the joint lines do not line up. Then the pressed the stamps to hard and the concrete heaved in the joints so you can only image what that looks like. Then, there is a bucket ring in the concrete where someone sat a bucket while they were working with the concrete. Finally, they sprayed concrete colorant and sealer all over my $6,000 french doors to this day that I can't get off of the bottom of the doors. Now I have about ten different spots on the patio where the water ponds in different spots. Now the best of all, the driveway. The driveway was too large for them to pour in one day because of the tubing in the heated driveway. So they poured three separate pours. After the first pour I should have stopped them. I was present for this pour and let me tell you that it looked like a bunch of patients had escaped from an insane assylum. The only person that had any idea of what was going on was the owner Bob, but based on his finish work, I am not sure that he knows what he is doing either. After the first pour, there were lumps of concrete all the edge of my driveway and when I confronted Bob about it, he said that he would take care of it. Taking care of it meant, a hammer and a chisel. He chiseled all fo the rough concrete edges all the driveway so needless to say, you can only image what this looks like. Well, it was pretty much the same on pours #2 and #3. But, this is not the worst of the whole driveway project. In November of 2009, only five months after the driveway was poured, I noticed the surface of the driveway starting to pop off. As the winter progressed, it continually got worse. Now my entire colored, heated driveway looks absolutely awful. Also, just for your information. I have never to this day turned on the heat in the driveway or I have never put any type of salt or driveway melting products on this driveway. I even paid an engineering firm to test the concrete and they found that the concrete was overworked and now the top layer of the entire driveway is weak causing it to just crumble apart. So, I called Mr. Cochran to look at the driveway. Now listen to this explanation...... When he called me back, he said that the driveway was falling apart because salt dripped off of our two vehicles and was damaging the concrete. My response was how could this happen so soon and why doesn't all of my neighbors driveways that are several years older than mine look like mine. I also asked if the driveway was sealed with a sealant and he claims that they did seal it. To this day, he has never been back or offered any type of restitution or repair to the driveway. So I decided from this point forward to stamp my own sidewalks and another patio in the rear of my house. I consider myself a handy person, so I got two other people to help me and my first two concrete stamp jobs look a million times better than any other work that Bob Cochran concrete company or if you want to call them that. I hired another company called Russ Crane Masonary to finish my concrete stairs from my driveway to the house and what a difference in craftmanship and professionalism. My concrete stairs are perfect and have been perfect for 3 years. I can only image what they would look like if Bob Cochran would have done them.
