Would not recommend, very sloppy work.

They promptly responded to request for estimate and showed up on time. Estimate was done in a professional manner and proposal documentation was provided. However I decided to postpone initiating this project.

They took a 5 days to do the work. Anything additional they saw they told me or helped me with. My spigot was leaking under the sink and he tightened for me. They cleaned up after they were done. Great job.

Sent someone out immediately to do estimate. Provided very fair price and scheduled us for waterproofing in no time at all. Completed work promptly and all staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We have not had one drop of water in basement since work was completed and have endured major rains that normally would have given us basement water.

Things the sales person said they would do were not done the first time around. After talking with the owner he did send someone out to finish the job correctly and was more than willing to do the work that was missed.

They explained everything in advance, in clear lay-mans English so we understood what they going to do. And they did what they told us, very professional, and we can only say wonderful things about them. I will and would recommend them with pride and pleasure.

I've only had water come in at this location so I was pleased that they didn't try to sell me on doing the entire basement. They were able to do the entire job in 1 day. No heavy rains since it was installed so I can't say for sure that the drain, sump and pipes are working. Only negatives that I have are that they didn't sweep or mop the floor when they were done. They sealed off the rest of the basement so that it was free of dust, but the floor was very dirty. Also, the installers smelled so strongly of smoke that they left that smell in the house.

The estimate went ok but they refused to separate the jobs. They wanted to do both jobs and didn't want to give me the option of having an other contractor fix the wall and have Central Penn do the waterproofing. The estimator was so lazy that I had to fill in my personal info on the proposal.

The company sent a sales rep to our house to provide an estimate. The sales rep that came to our house (I can't remember his name), told us that we had black mold in our basement (keep in mind that he never actually tested anything), told us that we should never go down in the basement unless we have to until they treated it, and basically tried to sell us the Rolls Royce choice of repair when we only needed a Honda. The estimate that he gave me was on a plain piece of white printer paper (which I supplied to him) and only had the dimensions of our basement on it and wrote illegibly what they were going to do, with >$12,000 as the estimate. In order to get the "written estimate", I had to copy it on my printer and print it out. No letterhead, no forms, nothing, just a white piece of paper. He tried to tell us that we needed 2 sump pumps (for an 800 sq foot ranch house that never had more than 1/4 in water and only in 2 areas, and that they only put in the world's best sump pumps. I asked him many questions about what the problem was with our basement, and he would talk around the problem and never answer my questions. Everytime I would ask a question, he would turn and address my husband with his response. We informed him that we were not committing that day and that we were going to get additional estimates where he warned us that although the rest of the estimates might be cheaper, they wouldn't be the quality that his company puts in. We told him that he was over our budget, but we would keep that in mind. After that, he would call both my husband's and my cell phones 2-3 times a day to see if we had made a decision. I told him during our meeting that I could not use my cell phone at work , so to call my husband, not me. BTW, I had another company test the mold. There was mold, but it wasn't black mold. To wrap this up, I think Central Penn Waterproofing may be a very good basement waterproofing company, and their ratings back that up, but the gentleman that was sent to give me an estimate left a very bad taste in my mouth and that is why I decided not to use them.

It went smoothly. I have the certificate with the lifetime guarantee on the system, but I didn't need to show it, because their records are complete. It was a relief to deal with a company that stands by its work and treats the customer (namely me) with respect.

They were very neat and finished the job in 2 days.

the salesperson seemed technically knowledgeable. we did not care for the way he derogatorily spoke of other company's who are in the same business. It basically came down to the fact that he didn't convince us that their system would be adequate for our house.

I was very pleased with the job from start to finish. The sales call was low key with no pressure. Everything was very well explained. The workers that did the job were very professional and courteous. They were very careful with surrounding household furnishings and did a good job in removing all related construction materials. The entire job was completed in about 6 hours. While the cost seems high, I was reassured to know that the installation crews are Thompson crews and not independent contractors. Also their system is well engineered using top quality materials. I would not hesitate to recommend the Thompson company to anyone. In fact, I already have.

They were excellent. They were very good at what they did, the system they put in for us works excellently. They were prompt and courteous. They were very good at clean up and they hauled everything away. They knew all the things that need to be done and I would highly recommend them. I think the price was expensive but that's because I had to pay for it.

He stands by his work. When I called, he sent somebody out the next day. We had the pump installed in the '90s. He was terrific. He gave an estimate, and it turned out that the job was much, much harder than he had thought. Instead of installing two pumps, he had to install three. He didn't change the price. The man who came out checked the system over, made a minor repair, and did the replacement.
