They did excellent work and when we discovered a manufacturer's defect in the tub, they took care of the problem so that it was as good as new. They contacted the manufacturer so that it was covered in the warranty and was done promptly and graciously.

I'm reporting here to say it did not start, but it was in no way the fault of the contractor.

As with my first experience with Postorivo Contractors (Owner - Emilio Mirabelli), Emilio and his crew exceeded my expectations and did a great job on my kitchen remodel. I hired Postorivo Contractors back in the fall of 2010 to remodel my 2nd floor bathroom and add a 2nd floor laundry room. See my earlier posting on January 2011. For my kitchen remodel, Emilio was prompt with providing an estimate of the job and was able to start on our agreed upon date. Emilio worked with me as I wanted to do some of the work myself to save on the overall cost. I performed the demolition, installed the flooring and painted the room. The rest of the remodeling as explained above was performed by Postorivo Contractors. All of their work was top quality and performed up to code in an efficient manner. In completing the remodel, Emilio consistently provided his expertise and even offered to complete some extra work at no additional cost. For example, one of the kitchen walls was concrete and did not require new drywall. However the wall was 'wavy' do to settling that occurred with the age of the house. Emilio offered to install furring strips on the wall to make it level and then add new drywall so that it matched with the other walls at no extra cost. From the start of the remodel, Emilio arrived on time every day and ensured that the worksite was clean before he left. Emilio and his carpenter worked with me as I was ordering the stock kitchen cabinets on my own and was designing the overall layout myself. His carpenter provided excellent advice on the final cabinet layout which helped avoid some potential mistakes that would have completely been my fault. Emilio and his carpenter installed the cabinets perfectly and made the layout around the refrigerator look like it was a custom order. During the remodel, I ran into some issues when ordering the kitchen cabinets on my own. Emilio was able to work around these issues and kept the project moving so that the granite countertop installation was not delayed. These issues held up Emilio from starting his next job, but he never complained as it was my fault that the cabinets were no in on time. Once the cabinets came in, Emilio and his crew came back and wrapped up the job without charging me extra, which was greatly appreciated. In addition to remodeling the kitchen, Emilio also installed four recessed ceiling lights in my living room. His crew did this work efficiently with no issues. Once his drywall taper patched up and sanded the ceiling, you would never have known the lights were installed after the house was build. As Emilio told me from the start of the job, he is always available via cell phone for any questions I had. I reached out to him several times when I was doing some of the work and he always answered and give me quality advice. After hearing some of the horror stories my friends and co-workers have had when dealing with contractors, I am so glad I discovered Postorivo Contractors on Angie's List. Their work is of the highest quality and they are willing to work with you on every detail, no matter how small or big. My wife and I could not be happier with the work done by Emilio and his crew at Postorivo Contactors and we will continue to use him in the future as we need work completed on our house.

IT LOOKS AWESOME!! We found Postorivo Contractors on Angie's list listed and called. The owner, Emilio Mirabelli, came to our home on Saturday, July 8th to look over the project, asked what we wanted and made suggestions of things which we hadn't thought about. He indicated at the outset that his estimate might be higher than some others, but that it would be and quot;qualityand quot; work. Early the next week, we received his estimate detailing the work that would be performed with a list of references (we did not call any of them since we had so much confidence in Emilio), a timeframe and cost with payment schedule. At the end of that week he called to see if we had any questions. We had called another contractor who came to our home, however, it took more than a week to get the esimate (a bad sign). We informed Emilio on July 30th that we wanted him to do the remodeling project and we quickly removed everything from the rooms and had a fun but busy time looking for fixtures, sliding door, carpet, and tiles. The work began on August 8th at 7:15 a.m. After the demo and before the drywall was installed, at Emilio's suggestion, we decided to get new carpeting too. He and his crew always started promptly each day. Some of his experts came on evenings or weekends, but all was completed in 3 weeks. Emilio and his crew asked me for decisions or opinions along the way, which was helpful to us and to them. They were all talented, courteous, and professional. They performed quality work, and could do anything. We could call Emilio at any time with questions or information. If you need a general contractor for any job, we highly recommend Emilio. They and quot;alland quot; did a SUPERB JOB, and we will use them again in future projects. The project exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be more pleased!! Thank you - we love our new rooms. Postorivo Contactors (Owner - Emilio Mirabelli) did an excellent job on my bathroom/laundry room remodel. I had interviewed several contractors all of which I obtained off of Angies list and Postorvio Contractors were by far the best. I was in a unique situation, where I wanted to do some of the work, (demolition, drywall and painting) and then have a contractor do the rest of the work in order to keep the cost down. Emilio and his crew listened to my requested, priced the job out accordingly and worked with me to obtain the necessary permits to complete the job. Emilio and his crew always showed up early and worked extremely hard to get the job completed. Since I was doing some of the work myself, Emilio always mentioned to call him with any questions I had. I did a few times and he always got back to me with an answer. Emilio's plumber, carpenters, tile setter and drywall taper's all were excellent and did an outstanding job. I have personally recommended Postorivo Contactors to several of my co-workers and friends and I'm planning on having them remodel my kitchen hopefully this summer or early fall.

Emilio and the crew of Postorivo Contractors did an outstanding job with my basement remodel. My house is a 1950's Cape Cod, and with a growing family we needed more living space. My wife and I decided to turn our dingy concrete shell of a basement into something we could use as a family room. I interviewed and obtained multiple estimates from general contractors and eventually decided to go with Postorivo because of the price and the design suggestions which Emilio offered. What a great decision! Emilio transformed my dungeon into the best and most often used room in the house. My basement now has new windows, a new full tiled bathroom, a tiled laundry room, utility room, a tiled walk-in closet, and tiled mud room. Emilio also ripped out my rickety staircase and built a beautiful new staircase complete with moldings and finish work. All the drywall work including finished ceilings with recessed lighting was performed to complete satisfaction. We love our new basement. My wife and I were so happy with Emilio's work that we tacked on a few additional jobs. Emilio installed recessed lighting in all the rooms throughout the house, installed ceiling fans in the bedrooms, upgraded our plumbing fixtures including a new hot water heater and new bedroom and bathroom doors. My next project will be an addition to the rear of the house and Emilio will be the 1st person I call. I would definitely recommend Postorivo Contractors.

They are punctual, clean, and experts in what they do!

After many contracting experiences, this was the very best we have ever had. From the beginning Emilio was prompt, returned calls immediately, communicated consistently and thoroughly, and provided estimates/information ASAP. All work was completed on time and within estimate. Emilio works primarily with family members, and we've never met a better educated or experienced bunch of contractors. They all have outstanding experience and gave great input/adjustments along the way. Moreover, we had a few extra jobs, and it was no problem to fit them into the schedule. The work was outstanding! We were particularly impressed with the finished carpentry as every detail was addressed, and we never had to make a correction. They went above and beyond our expectations. Additionally, we were out of the country for a week. During that time, Emilio communicated thoroughly via email. The entire group was considerate of our home, tidy and very pleasant. All key to a pregnant mom with a 1 yr old.
