This company was contracted by my builder to install the flooring in my new home. We could not be more disappointed. While they claim to be professionals, they do not seem to know how to install simple vinyl flooring. I had Congoleum installed throughout the entire house for medical reasons. None of it was installed properly. ? The upstairs staircase: On every single stair the flooring is bubbled and coming up. This makes the stair slippery and treacherous. One stair might be reasonable, but not all of the stairs. That spells incompetence or negligence. ? There are some bubbles in the basement stairs as well, but not all of them. One or two were actually done correctly. ? The vinyl in the basement was installed directly onto the concrete. There should have been a subfloor and while that is the builders responsibility and they dropped the ball there, the installation was an absolute mess. The installer did not even bother to sweep up the floor before putting down the flooring and you can see and feel the chunks of debris under the flooring. They are pushing through and tearing the floor. ? There are many bubbles throughout all the floors in the house. When I complained about this to the flooring contractor I was told that because I wanted the Congoleum throughout it causes it to have bubbles since it is such a large area. Unfortunately, that excuse does not hold up. This is a very tiny house and the rooms are all small. The rooms are smaller than a normal kitchen area would be so using the excuse the bubbles are due to the area covered are ridiculous unless it is standard for all kitchen floors to have this problem. ? All of the bedrooms have bubbles in the middle of the floor and around the perimeter. ? The upstairs hallway has bubbles ? The main floor has bubbles at several wall junctures, my island, and just in the middle of the floor. ? The bubbles in the floor cause excessive wear and tear and cause the flooring to move and tear. ? There were tears in the floor when we moved here that no one will take responsibility for. This company had one simple job and it was to install Congoleum and they did not do it properly and no one will take responsibility for it. I just get excuses as to why it is the way it is.
Description of Work: This is a professional flooring company hired by my builder to install the floors in my new home. While they are a flooring company the do not know the first thing about installing a floor. On top of that their customer service is reprehensible.
