They're great! I've been using them for a recurring lawn treatment service for 3 years.

I was never sure about this company. More than a few times, they showed up and within 10 minutes were gone. I have a large, irregularly-shaped lawn, which I cannot even walk in 10 minutes. Other than judging from the lawn condition, there really is no way to say whether they are doing the job they are hired to do. Recently, I asked to add a service; this process went smoothly. Later, they called with a recorded message saying they would do the job the next day. No one showed up. I complained, so they rescheduled for another day. Again, no one showed up. When I complained again, they said a manager would call to improve my service. No one ever called. I am dropping them and strongly recommend staying clear.

They're so so. I'm not thrilled with them. We have a contract with them. They were overcharging me for a couple of years so now it's down to what it's supposed to be. You're not even home when they apply fertilizer. They could have done a better job on the initial estimates. I think they have good products but sometimes the application is spotty.

They are reliable and they do a great job! Their customer service is great!

Never able to control weeds, excessive thatch, customer service was unresponsive to complaints about service technician, manager would not return calls. Service technicians repeatedly left gates open to fenced in area for my dogs. I called after every service to complain about gate being left open. Taking my business elsewhere.

The service is fine. I've been using them the last ten years. They come so much I don't know exactly what they're doing. I have them do my lawn, I have them do my shrubs, sometimes they're doing fertilizer, sometimes they're doing grub control, I don't know what they're doing. Sometimes they're spraying the trees, sometimes they're spraying the bushes, sometimes there doing the grass, you know, I have both services with them. I can't tell you specifically what they did on last week. I pay for the season, I don't pay for one particular treatment. I have an agreement with them. It's a charge for the season but it's multiple applications, and I don't do some applications during the summer because I feel it's a waste, because my grass is dead, and it's not growing, they put down fertilizer and it doesn't do anything, so I tell them which applications I want. I'm very particular, and if I come out and there's still weeds in my yard, I call them and they come back. I don't know how many other people do that, but I have them coming back more times than probably most people because I'm particular. They always come back and re spot, they're very good and come back. I would recommend them to others because they are thorough.

I would tell others that they're thorough. The lawn looks fine since they have done the work.

The only problem that I have is that their phone system doesn't work, and that's been going on for awhile. Another words when you call and it says put in your zip code so we can get to your area, I do that, and I get very lost, and the phone disconnects, and it's very annoying. I call back, and it does the same thing again, and it disconnects, and that's been happening for awhile. I have a problem getting through to them. I'm very happy with them.

We have a service contract with them they come so many times a year. What I respect from them, is that although we have the contract and they know what it is what we want done. they will still call and say they are coming which is the opportunity to say you do not want it. If we are home they ring the bell to make sure we still want the yard done. They do it in a timely fashion doing whats right for the lawn.

They did a lousy job. They guaranteed the control of weeds. The control of weeds was lousy. I called and complained, and they did not stand by their warranty. We would not defiantly use them. You can't trust them. They come and here for fifteen minutes. They do a lack up job. The prices are high. If you complain about that, they said they would send an supervisor, but nobody comes. Their price was reasonable, nothing to complain about, bur I didn't see any results. They come when they think its time to come out. I would not get a contract with them again. I do the lawn myself, and its really green. They give you a lip service, and nothing more.

They come out every 6 weeks. I was gonna leave them because I wasn't happy with the results. When I called them to cancel, they made some changes, my problem was crab grass, and they took care of it. You can negotiate with them on the price.

Never sent supervisor as they had stated.

Not that satisfied. They weren't able to control my weeds, they should come more frequently, maybe use a different pesticide I don't know.

This company is one messed up company. Sales, service and management appears not do talk nor agree on anything leaving the customer in limbo and very confused. I recommend to everyone not to use this company as you will get charged more than agreed upon nor they will not show up to apply an application yet bill you for it.

They perform lawn maintenance. We have an annual contract. We had to ask them to come back. We've had them for a few years. We haven't seen positive results. We have some spots that are brown and dead that they need to come back to correct. I'd tell a friend to probably go somewhere else. I probably wouldn't recommend them. They're not terrible. We haven't seen any great results. We'd continue with them if the problems are remediated. They use organic lawn care, chemical free. We like that aspect of it.

I have a contract with them. They come out once a week or once every two weeks. They do their thing, send me a bill and I pay the bill.

Been using Trugreen for years. I requested they call me before they come out and that's what they do. I get 6 lawn treatments during the year plus core aeration and seeding. If a treatment didn't take or I see weeds I call them and they come back out and retreat at no cost. Great company.

Still have weeds. Didn't show up when scheduled.

They were responsive and their cost is reasonable as I recall. They're doing fine and also decent to deal with.

they do a great job. I don't have to handle the chemicals. My lawn looks good. They let me know when they are coming. They post that they visit. You can paid for all the lawn service a yearly or as you have them applied. I would recommend them. I have been using them for at least 3-4 yrs.

Our lawn has never looked so good. They know how to treat it and when. We are very happy with their service.

I was contacted for two years from Chris to switch my lawn service from green lawn to tru green. I decided to give them a try. I was told that I would have 6 lawn sessions @ 54.00 each time. They took my credit card info and said it would be billed at time of service. I noticed after the second service that my lawn did not look nearly as good as my previous service.Then on the last visit, June 10th, the tech broke one of my landscape lights. The following day I get my bank statement and they charged 114.00! I called to inquire and was told that they "doubled up" a service and added grub control, which I NEVER ORDERED. I cancelled my service and tried to call Chris (sr sales service) and he never called me back!! This is a luxury service...they should have said what they were going to do and did it, they lied!! I WOULD HIGHLY NOT-RECOMEND this service!! Green Lawn was FAR SUPERIOR to them!! Buyer beware~~!!

I received approximately 24 hours notice that I needed to flag my sprinkler system in preparation for aeration and seeding scheduled for August 30th. When the service hadn't shown up by the end of the day I called the number I was provided on my voicemail, which turned out to be a non working number. I called the main office and reached a call center. After waiting on hold for approximately ten minutes I explained the issue and was told that I would receive a call back from the local provider. I did receive a call back but not until September 3rd. The representative said he understood that I had a problem. He gave no indication that the call center had given him the nature of my complaint. I then told the story once more and received a curt apology and was told that they would be out today (September 4th). Again, TruGreen was a no-show. Once again I called the main number, waited on hold for the call center and told them I needed to speak with someone at the local provider. They told me that I would get a call back immediately. There is still no call back. TruGreen provides the same services as many others, but their customer service is off-the-charts poor. I do not intend to use them again as they have become quite corporate in their approach and residential customers are clearly not important to them.

I purchased $600 worth of services, paid $400, and the yard looks worse than before they started. They left the yard looking horribly. I would not recommend them to my next door neighbor. What they say and what they do are two different things. They inexplicably stopped the service in July - no one explained why they stopped coming and severed my service contract. Their advertisements say that if I'm not satisfied, I could call and work with them on fixing the problem. I then asked for a refund.

This is my first season with Scotts. They sprayed too high a concentration and I ended up with widespread brown spots in my yard. I called about it and was promised a call back. Three days later no call but a note on my door from Scotts that they had over applied weed killer and the brown spots would go away in a few weeks. I would have expected a reduced cost or even free application for putting up with a brown lawn for a month...Never received a call on this issue, but get continuous calls from them trying to sell me additional services that I probably dont need. I will try someone else next year.
