TRIBAL LOOM ORIENTAL RUGS

They were very helpful in explaining their cleaning process and also answered questions we had about what kinds of rug pads to use / not use on new wood flooring. We got a 20% discount for transporting the rugs to/from the shop ourselves rather than having them picked up, and they helped take them out of the car and load them back in. They said the rugs would be ready in one week and they were. The quality of the work seemed fine.

First, let me say that I was incredibly stressed by the flood (caused by a burst frozen pipe) that necessitated this service. I had called Zakian, the go-to company in my area for many years, and I was incredibly turned off by the owner's attitude and their pricing was outrageous. I was getting more reasonable prices from their customer service person, but she passed me to the owner because I started asking more technical questions and she felt he could better explain things. However, once on the phone with him, the price started to climb--wet rugs, extra charge, pickup, extra charge. Price at Zakian after talking to the owner=$1169. Stunned because that seemed way too high, I decided to call the next company on Angie's List. From the first phone call I knew I found my new forever rug cleaner. The owner of Tribal Looms came to my house, charged nothing extra to lug these unbelievably heavy wet rugs out of my house, did an unbelievably beautiful job (you couldn't tell they had been through anything, let alone a soaking flood and then a cleaning), and charged just $689. The Tribal Loom owner, Nurhan, had just been to my area the day before (a good 45 minute drive from his plant), but when he heard my rugs had already been sitting for 2 days, he shifted his pickup schedule and came the next morning and took them back and washed them right away to prevent bleeding and mold. He showed up exactly when he said he would, returned them much quicker than I expected, and was professional and kind the whole time. I never got the sense that my misfortune made me an easy target for gouging, which was the experience I had with the other company I called. If anything, I felt like the guy approached me with even more kindness and compassion for what I was dealing with. How utterly refreshing. I have already recommended them to all my friends on facebook and my former customers (I used to own a little Oriental Rug shop years ago) and I found out he does all the cleaning for many of the other rug shops in the Delaware Valley, many of whom I know personally. Two big, enthusiastic thumbs up!

They came out December of 2011 and the service was very good, it worked very well. I choose them because of the cost combined with the recommendations and the reviews. They explained everything in very good detail. So, we felt such confidence with them. The carpets just looked a lot cleaner than before. He also repaired one of the edges we had come undone and did a very nice job repairing it. We would definitely use them again.

Nurhan & Vartan did a fabulous job cleaning 5 area rugs; 2 machine made, 3 handmade. Service were fast. I received a discount for transporting the rugs to PA, living an hour away, from NJ. Very satisfied with Tribal Loom!

When they returned it to me, it was clean, but, the "stiffness" of the rug was eliminated. Now it moves / dimples all the time. Before, it laid in place perfectly and didn't move or dimple.

I bought an Angie's list coupon to have the oriental rug in my living room cleaned. The gentlemen came to pick it up, rolled it up and took it to clean. he arrived when he said he would. I was a little concerned because there was only one person to get it out of a small living room, with two relatively heavy sofas, but he managed. A week later he brought it back and put it back in the same living room. He also fixed a place on one corner that had gotten frayed. He didn't charge me extra for rolling it up or re-laying it, nor did her charge for fixing it. The rug looks absolutely beautiful since it has been cleaned and I will definitely use Tribal Loom in the future.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was just fine. They did a great job and did exactly what they said they would do. They cleaned a very old and dirty rug and it looks good; it is hanging up now. There was nothing bad about the experience. Their building is a little hard to find, but once I found it I now know where it is. It is off a residential road and I did not think there would be a business back there. They really know what they are doing; they were able to tell us a lot about the rug that we did not know.

This was a good experience. I needed the rugs cleaned quickly. The owner of Tribal Loom actually opened the shop for me on Saturday so that I could drop the rugs off (he also showed me the cleaning equipment and explained the process). I got a 20% discount for dropping off and picking up. The work was completed in less than a week, and the improved condition of the rugs was apparent. They rolled and wrapped the rugs up nice and helped me get them in my car. The owner obviously took pride in what he does. As far as price is concerned, I didn't get a deal, but the cost seemed to be in line with other places I checked out. With how quickly they turned this around, I was satisfied and plan on using them again.

They were very prompt with both pick up and delivery. They also worked on some stains and included a throw rug for no additional fee. I would definitely use them again for future area rug cleaning needs.

We are very impressed. It had been 2+ decades since one of the rugs had been cleaned, and the other newer ones were taking a lot of wear and tear. We checked with friends about places they'd used and kept hearing about 2 places, one of which was Tribal Loom. We weren't sure which of the two to choose, but after reading reviews on Angie's List, I called Tribal Loom. They had a coupon available on their website, which was an additional enticement. They came the same day that I called, and in exactly one week the carpets were returned in 'like new' condition. We'd forgotten how vivid the colors were on one of them! I expected to pay substantially more than the actual price and, truth be told, I was a little surprised at their wonderfully reasonable prices. So it was with a little anxiety that I greeted the return of the rugs. But, all concerns were baseless. All of the rugs looked spectacular! In short, the service, quality, expediency, and price were excellent. Tribal Look was a very pleasant experience; we enthusiastically and highly endorse them. They will be out 'go to' place for all future carpet services.

Very prompt courteous service. The man who came to get the rug helped me remove some furniture that was sitting on it. Returned on schedule and helped put rug back in my living room.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. I dropped the rugs off at their location because I did not realize they picked up. They seemed to be experts and know what they were doing. They were pretty straightforward and had a quick turnaround time. The work was good and I had no complaints.

PROMPT, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGABLE AND A VERY FAIR PRICE FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDED. HE DELIVERED THE CLEANED AND REPAIRED CARPET TO OUR HOME EXACTLY AS PROMISED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

They did a wonderful job. They are very nice and incredibly knowledgeable. We have taken several rugs to them since then, one which needed to be repaired and they matched the fringe so well that you can't tell which end was repaired. They really are experts - they even do historical restorations.

I had a carpet that had been ruined by my movers when they got it wet on its way to storage and allowed to sit in the storage facility for 6 weeks without drying it out. When I unrolled my carpet it was covered in mold. Tribal loom was able to pick up the rug within 2 hours of my calling them. A week later they returned it to me mold free. Unfortunately they were unable to repair all the damage as the excessive moisture had resulted in dye run; however they prepared an official appraisal for me to present to the insurance company. All of this was done with in 1 week and included door to door service. I would use this company again and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Everything went well. Service was prompt and courteous. They were able to remove an unsightly and stubborn stain in an ivory colored carpet.

These guys were amazing!! They had quoted me about 3 weeks, and had it done in two. The price was VERY reasonable - about $120 for a 7'x7' rug. They were complete professionals and took care of my very special family piece like it was their own. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Everything went fine. I was appreciative as they kept my carpets for several months without charging me a fee for storage. Very helpful due to my circumstances.

They did a good job. They came here, fixed the wrong and charged me more then the package. They did a reasonable good job once we agreed on the new price. They kept the rug for two or three weeks.
