Description of Work: Tommy saved me a bunch of money again! And, at this rate, he will be the reason my boiler will last forever. Over the winter I screwed up my boiler and flooded my basement. He came and fixed the problem so we could get through the winter, and then came back in the spring to flush the system and make sure everything was good.

+ -1 moreAfter I was notified by tenants about water pouring out of the oil boiler, I headed over and called Tommy. He had me take pictures so we could resolve the flooding issue over the phone. When that did not work, Tommy came directly over, surprisingly quickly, fixed the water problem, replaced the part that caused the problem, and made sure the heat was going on all the floors before he left. Since we were in the middle of nasty cold spell that week, the guys and their pipes would have frozen over night if he hadn't come out. Tommy was absolutely professional, nice, and educated us on how to care for our heat system. This wasn't the first time he had helped us at this facility and won't be the last. I'm having him out to my house this week to look at my own furnace.
Description of Work: He replaced a broken part on the oil boiler. He told me the name of the part that was broken and what it did (clearly I have forgotten, but in my defense it was very late at night). He also showed me what to do if anything like it happened again so we didn't have to bring him out for an emergency visit again. He made sure I remembered how to do it, and I do. He stuck around to make sure there was heat on all three floors of the house and there was no more water spewing from the boiler.

+ -1 moreI liked that he gave me information on different alternatives. He was very knowledgeable about what was wrong with my old unit. I got 2 different estimates. He was very professional. The price was competitive. I liked the brand that he installed. He worked around my schedule. He did most of the job in one day. He did have to do a little trouble shooting but solved all the problems. It works well and keeps us warm.
Description of Work: They came out to the house and installed a new air conditioner and an oil furnace. They also installed a humidifier.
