Scruggs Tree Service

All work was completed as scheduled, neatly, and professionaly for what I thought to be a very fair price considing the extend of the damage.

Communication was prompt as was the work once the contract was received. The work was difficult due to the location of the trees, the sizes of them (18-24and quot; in diameter) and each type of tree was processed in a different way (shredded, cut into rounds, cut into longer 5-6' lengths). This allowed a variety of future uses for the fallen wood but complicated the work which still went off without a hitch.

I have used Scruggs tree service in the past (2008) for tree removal and cleanup. They did excellent work at that time. My neighbor used a different tree service to have some trees removed during the summer and they did not do a good job. Poor work, not on time, difficult to schedule, etc. This service was also contracted to do some joint tree work for some large, dead Oak trees on our property lines but they never came back or called to finish the job. After a few months I talked my neighbor into letting me find someone else and immeidately called Ron. After talking to him he was out within a few days and called immediately back with an estimate. We were able to schedule the tree work for the following week. He could have scheduled earlier but he recommended waiting until the ground was a little drier. Day of the work they were on time, professional and easy to work with. The trees were very large and close enough to the house that they needed to be brought down delicately. They did an excellent job and completed the project exactly as contracted. Ron and his crew are very good and I recommend them and would use them again if needed.
