Everything was done in a professional manner. All questions were answered before work was started. Installation went smoothly. Feel we got a very good system at a fair price.

After hours emergency call resulted in a return call from a tech in the Quakertown area who questioned what county our address was and then went to Lancaster county, 1 hour away from us which then resulted in our cancellation of the after hours emergency call. At that point we didn't want someone who had no idea how to use a GPS working outside in the dark on our air conditioning unit. Therefore waited until the following morning to have the repair when it was evident what had not been done during our annual check. Service tech for the repair knew what he was doing. No courtesy return call was ever received from the service manager to a call concerning the quality of work performed during our scheduled annual check weeks earlier ($289 heater/air conditioner cleaning/check) that had been performed within a month of our air conditioner problem. Dirty condensate pump, no check on air conditioner refrigerant (3 1/2 lbs low) all of which had to be performed in the follow up emergency call. So called "discount" parts that come with an annual contract are bogus. $128 for an approximately $9 part. This company charged us approximately $750. within a month and the service manager never returned my call.

Great job cleaning furnace but lost heat after serviced. No problems before serviced. After repeatedly losing heat I asked to meet with the owner. He actually came to the house and I showed h the calendar of all the times I was without heat. He was professional and concerned about all the problems I had had with his company. Service charges were removed, said he would not charge me for next year's contract and he would reduce the charges for the next oil delivery . I was pleased with his response and I am willing to give his company another year. There had been no problems since I had another company replace a part that most likely been broken when serviced.

They had about 5 pricing options for oil heat. I purchased a contract and they were very responsive when the heater would not go on.

I received a flyer in the mail for propane delivery at a discounted price per gallon for our first fill up. We have a 500 gallon tank and the savings were substantial. I contacted the company and a rep came down to do an inspection at no charge within a few days of the initial contact. 2 weeks later we received the fill up. Delivery was great. The employee was professional and on time. Will do business with again.

We've been using Haly oil for 4 years now (since we moved in). Can't say enough about how great their service is. We get both AC and heating tune-ups done, and their techs are super kind and professional, always willing to spend a little extra time answering questions and concerns. Never had an issue with their oil delivery service either, price has always been fair and competitive.

1. Oil tank inspection - Ordered the inspection when I signed up for automatic oil delivery. Took months of no one contacting me before I had to call and ask for someone to come out. They said the request was never entered in the system even though it was written on the original paperwork. The inspection itself went well and the guy was nice and professional, but then he lost the paperwork and had no documentation on the work they did to give to me but still charged for the inspection. A few days later he called and said he found it and mailed me a copy. 2. Automatic oil delivery - When I signed all the paperwork, it didn't get entered into their system for over a week. The only reason it was entered was because I ran out of oil and needed an emergency delivery and they realized what their mistake. I was still charged for the emergency delivery. Also, each time before they came to deliver, they would charge my credit card for the amount the expected to deliver. This was fine and expected, however when they filled up the tank and found that I needed more than they anticipated, they put the note in my account file and never charged my card again. When this happened, they charged me finance fees for not paying. I had to call twice over three months to complain about this. Each time they apologized, took the finance fees off, and charged my card, as they should have one in the first place. They credited this towards a "problem in the system". Over all, they were nice people and helpful once you contacted them, however their office system seems to be a little flawed. I'm not going to use them for automatic renewal again next year.

The original response was fast and professionally done. This was followed up by Jim Bernhardt with more information answering all of my questions. I will definitely make a switch this fall as they seem to be quite organized and considerably less expensive than Superior. With 2 rental properties, Superior constantly messed up invoices for all 3 of us. Their service has become questionable so I am hoping for a much better relationship. I will definitely use in the future.

They have been polite and responsive. I am a new customer this year and they are much better than my previous provider.

I ordered a tank of oil for someone else who didn't have a contract with them for Christmas. Haly's customer service was great, the oil was delivered promptly and billed correctly. I'd recommend them anytime.

The folks at Haly Oil were very responsive and prompt in providing service in a time of urgent need. Service like this is always appreciated and often hard to find.

In October 2013, we contracted with Haly to remove an old underground oil tank and install a new 500 gallon underground propane tank. With initial fill of the propane tank, total cost was in the area of $5,000 (propane tank was purchased, not leased). This process went reasonable well with a few broken pathway slates which Haly replaced. Over the next three months, the property was unoccupied with contractors coming in on a daily basis performing needed renovations prior to our moving in. We moved in on Dec. 20, the Friday before Christmas, and with the priorities of the move and preparing for holiday visits from family and friends, the last thing I thought to check was the propane level in the tank. I checked the propane level on Monday, Dec. 30 and found it at 10%. Concerned that I could run out over the coming holiday, I called Haly to see how quickly I could get a delivery. The rep I spoke to said that they couldn't make a regular delivery before the coming Friday but that, for a $75 fee, I could get same day delivery. I informed her that I really had no choice since I wanted to be sure not to run out, so I agreed to the $75. She then checked with dispatch and came back on the line to say "This is your lucky day, we can give you a delivery tomorrow (Tues.) with no additional charge". At that point, Haly impressed me with their customer service and gave me no reason to look further. Unfortunately, talk is cheap. At 4:30 the next day (Tues.), when no delivery had been made, I called the office to get their recording that the office was closed. I called the emergency line and got a call back telling me that will-call customers can expect delivery within 3 business days and that nobody should have promised a delivery the next day. I explained that I was willing to pay the $75 same day delivery charge but was told that was not necessary as I would get a delivery on Tues. without paying the charge. The response was basically "tough luck, we'll see you after the holiday". On Wed. morning (New Years Day), I checked the gauge to find that the propane level had dropped to 5%. Once again, concerned that I would run out before a delivery (at this point having no idea of when Haly would deliver, if at all), I called the emergency line. The on-call rep informed me that he would come out for a $100 charge plus what amounted to an additional $1 per gallon. I asked when they would start delivery the next day (a regular business day) and he said at 6:00 am so I decided to cut my heat down, not use my other gas appliances (oven, hot water) and take my chances. The on-call rep said he would pass the issue on to the dispatcher in the morning and see about getting me an early delivery. The next morning (Thurs.), after a day of winter coats and microwave cooking, I called the office at 8:00 and was told that I was scheduled for delivery before 10:00. That the delivery was actually made before 10:00 kept me from giving Haly an F rating, felling that a C was fair. At the end of the day, all the good will that would have been generated if Haly had lived up to their initial promise has evaporated. This is precisely why I purchased my propane tank and not leased it....allowing me to shop around and not be married to a given supplier. At this point I have no reason to continue to do business with Haly. While I would not say they are the worst for customer service, I have no reason to view them as providing exceptional service deserving of customer loyalty.

Service is great. Always responsive. Great prices on oil refills for home heating. Always have been professional.

Their staff was courteous and always addressed any concerns that I had promptly. They are a local company and it shows in the way they treat their customers. I spoke with a few different oil companies before selecting Haly. Haly was much more straightforward to deal with.

Haly performs a service of delivering oil to our house paid yearly, delivered when needed. They are a family business. They were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. We feel their service and products are cheaper than our previous supplier. We are happy to say we are staying with Haly Oil in the future.

I like them. They have been very good and seem to come right away when I call. I have been using them for about fourteen years. They put in both my heater and air conditioning unit. They supply my oil and they have never been late with my oil and when I have problems they come right away; for me that is important. I think they are a little high on price. They are professional and punctual. They are very good and nice. I would continue to use them in the future.

They have a very reasonable service contract and their prices are very reasonable. They are very professional and knowledgeable. When I had an issue, they came out immediately and I didn’t have to pay the emergency charge because I have a contract with them. They got the new part and put it in within 24 hours. They treat every customer like a friend.

Technician spent about an hour with the furnace, and was patient and helpful when I had questions about the house's duct work.

My lovely old farmhouse property had an underground storage tank for residential oil, that had been abandoned over 24+ years ago. Original reassurances that this was 'no problem' and promises to help take care of it, vanished. So, I did a lot of research on what to do about this. I had no experience having never lived anywhere with an old tank of any kind. There are for good reason strong controls on any procedures involving oil tanks. I read the Pennsylvania State information on the State web site, several times. Then, I took the advice of my trusted realtor, and of my superb boss in a local volunteer organization, and contacted Bud Haly, of Haly Oil, in Malvern PA. I supplied information to Haly, and they had an expert inspect what was visible. They gave me an estimate, with a range of basic prices, and some optional extra services. They also detailed potential problems, costs associated, and State programs for assistance. Again, it is wise to understand the potential issues. We were able to schedule this within a few weeks, even considering it was right around Thanksgiving. Bud Haly and the team arrived right on time. They carefully yet quickly opened the spot - with a small back-hoe. They followed all the proper procedures in removal of the tank. Fortunately, there had been no leakage. I have a certification validated by the State of Pennsylvania that the tank is out, and it as all clear. Bud Haly and his team were professional, fast, and very helpful! I would DEFINITELY refer them 100%!

I contacted Haly to have someone do a seasonal check of my relatively new Peerless Steam boiler, the numerous radiators, and the water heater. The Service Man arrived a few minutes before our appointment. He checked the systems, and mechanicals, and drained some water [the little maintenance that was required]. He additionally explained to me how the system runs, what to look for, how to make some adjustments, and how to do the draining myself [as I had asked]. He was personable, and professional, and a very good teacher! I appreciate knowing that the system is running correctly and will definitely contact Haly for all future maintenance!

I was quoted a lock-in price of oil at $2.619/gal. in August and informed them that I would continue another season with them (my 2nd year). I asked if I needed to fill out any paperwork and they said no, they would make a note of it and they had my cc on file. When I placed an order for oil the other day, they said my price was now $3.25/gal. because I never filled out any paperwork to lock in the price! I explained the conversations I had with the office staff and they told me that because I was listed as a "will call" customer by mistake, the staff didn't send me the necessary paperwork to sign. Clearly a mistake on their because I asked about whether I needed to sign any paperwork. After much arguing, they agreed to split the difference. I think that is still unfair given the mistake was on their end. In the end, they argued over a price increase of $170 for the season-even though I just spent over $10,000 with them a month earlier and brought them a new customer!

THEY HAVE BEEN PUNCTUAL AND EFFICIENT. THEY HAVE HONORED THEIR WARRANTY AND SERVICE CONTRACTS, AND I FELT LIKE I HAVE GOTTEN VALUE FOR MY MONEY. THE HOOD THEY INSTALLED WAS A DIFFICULT JOB AND NO ONE ELSE WANTED TO DO IT. THEY DID IT.
