The representative arrived on time and we discussed briefly the pending project. Although the job was done quickly he did not rush. Any and and all questions that I had on this project and pending ones were answered. I look forward to having Electric Man finishing up many long sought after projects.

Ruth bid the job and performed the work. I can't say enough about how well this job went. She and her assistant were polite, on-time, and hard working. A+++++ job!! Wil deffinetly use Electric Man for all future electrical needs. Wife and I decided to eliminate the cable bill and take advantage of the free HD over the air channels. Once the job was finished my brother and I installed an antenna in the attic. Hooked it up and voila. Everything worked perfectly.

Ron and Jeroen were prompt, courteous, and very helpful with our power outage. They explained beforehand what they expected to do, completed their work, and even contacted PECO when it turned out to be their transformer, not my circuit breakers. I've now found an electrician that I'll call that I can trust in the future. Thank you both!

Overall, it went well. The technician arrived on time. He explained what he would be doing and he did do a good job. I was just taken aback by the steep price, but I needed my light post fixed because it had been lying on my grass broken for about a year.

I saw the Electric Man deal, called them, and they came 1-2 days later--on the day that I requested!! I was impressed! Their price is a bit on the high side, especially for one outlet. If I couldn't take advantage of the Angie's List deal, I would not have used them. However, Rob was an excellent worker. His professionalism and quality of work was great! I even had a good time talking to him about "non-electrical" things, such as Eagles football! Great guy! I will use Electric Man again (probably only through AL deals), and will refer them to my family and friends!!

Electrician arrived prior to the appointment. Gave me a price which I said was too high for such a simple repair . He looked at it again and provided a cheaper way to repair the wire.

The electrician was very respectful and on time. He looked over the situaion and explained any problems that might arise. He wrote up an estimate because it went beyond the terms of the deal. We gave him the go ahea and he finished fairly quickly.

I called the company to make an appointment to have an outlet installed (to replace the hard wired line) for a new stove that I had ordered. The receptionist/scheduler was friendly and set up the appointment. I am a single woman, living alone, and normally prefer word-of-mouth recommendations because I am not always comfortable with strangers in my house. This appointment was my first using Angie's list, and I was extremely comfortable with the electrician's presence in my house. The electrician arrived promptly and worked efficiently and professionally. The new outlet looks beautiful, and the stove delivery and installation several days later went smoothly. I would recommend this electrical company to anyone.

When he came out, he decided that the outlet I wanted installed was not worth the $200 the coupon claimed the service was worth. He claimed that the the area of the house would require the cost to increase up to $400-500. I ended up saying forget it and just had him do repairs to my ceiling fan. I purchased the Big Deal specifically to have a new outlet installed, which the coupon said he would do.

They were great - on time,friendly, clean, courteous, stuck to budget...everything was great.

The advertised price for the deal was $99. The electrician did not have all the parts needed on the truck and was going to charge me another $75 to go get them . Instead, I went to Lowe's and got the parts myself for a third of the cost! The work was done right and very professional but I should not have to go get parts or get charged for a trip to the hardware store just because the parts were not on the truck.

Jed from Electric Man was very responsive when we first called to get some lighting installed. He checked over some electrical issues that came up when we had our inspection before recently buying our house, and made the necessary fixes. He explained what he was going to do, when he was going to do it, and what it would cost ahead of time, and took the time to answer my numerous questions. The work was very clean and precise, and from the time I called him to the time we were done doing business, it might have been a week. I will definitely be calling him again when we need to redo lighting in some other rooms.

I purchased an Angie's List deal, and they were able to schedule my appointment within a week of when I called. Ruth arrived promptly and put on paper booties before entering the house. I explained everything I needed done, and we went around to each fixture. Ruth noticed problems that neither my original home inspector nor an electrician I hired to do some work 3 years ago had noticed. She thoroughly explained issues and options. Ruth wrote up the quote, I agreed to it, and she got to work the same afternoon. Electricman uses flat-rate pricing, so they're probably more expensive than other places, but for houses like mine, where some problem always arises, it probably works out better for the homeowner. They charge the quoted price (from a rate book) regardless of how long it actually takes. Ruth ran into a whole variety of problems, including finding a large, unsealed crack behind the wiring in the side of my house, poor wiring everywhere, one of the new floodlights didn't fit properly due to the downspout, the new floodlights weren't really designed for my type of installation, and several other things. In every case, she didn't get frustrated and do a hack job, but instead came up with creative solutions and kept trying until she got things to work. The job ended up taking much longer than anticipated and she had to come back the next day, but I'm happy it got done right rather than fast. Overall, I LOVE Ruth, and will ask specifically for her when I call to have more work done. Unfortunately, she found water leaking into my service panel when she did the whole-house inspection, so I have a very expensive call to make in my future! She did seal it up, so I don't have to deal with that problem right away. I definitely recommend this company, and especially Ruth.

Scheduling was prompt and courteous. Scheduled for a day convenient to me with request that the electrician arrive earlier in the day if possible; he did which was good. Ron, the electrician was courteous and professional. Projects completed in a satisfactory manner. Was able to use a $$ off coupon from previous visit.

Scheduling was not an issue. They were able to come the next day (a Saturday) to complete the work. Scheduling was hassle -free. Ron, the electriian, was prompy, courteous and professional. He completed the work in a timely manner and everything worked fine. We definitely recommend and have scheduled them for completion of additional projects on the project list.

Replaced faulty electrical panel and other tasks

It is very difficult finding crafts people that respect and understand old homes This was a remarkable experience with the expert arriving on time, was very protective of the interior furnishings and was excited about the project and working in an old home. Made sure I was fully satisfied before leaving.

When they came out and gave the estimate, they estimated $1000 for the cost. They were really nice and the customer service was over the top, but the cost was higher than I expected.

After our earlier mix-up I was still left with my project and an Angie's List coupon already paid for--money lost if I didn't use it. Finally heard from the owner Chip, who was very apologetic about their mistakes, and rescheduled my appointment. Tech (Ruth) arrived on time, was very thorough and professional, and did a great job of installing the fan. The downside, as others have mentioned, is the cost. I appreciate 'flat rate' pricing but it is extremely high (over twice the cost of a similar job I had done in another part of my home a few years a go with another company). Live and learn...coupons do not guarantee a good deal. Still, the job is finally done and done well. I advise getting estimates from multiple companies before purchasing a coupon, no matter how good the deal seems.
