+ -1 moreA large maple was damaged by lightning, and we had estimates from tree service companies who said it had to come down. We wanted to save the tree, so we called Best Tree Service, since John Greer is an arborist and were told that at best we could get 2-3 years and then it would have to be removed. John impressed us with his knowledge and responsiveness. He personally supervised a 3 man crew and did the most difficult work himself. The entire job took more than a day and a half. Two very large and three medium trees were removed; a number of others were pruned, and some 30-40 ft. branches hanging over the house were removed. His crew did more than we expected, pruning and cleaning up trees that were not part of the estimate. John also treated hemlocks that were being attacked by insects. Everything was cleaned, wood and chips removed, and John had a stump grinder come in and remove the stumps. Overall they did a great job at a reasonable price.
Description of Work: Removed 5 trees, ground stumps, placed cables on trees to prevent future damage, pruned other trees, injection treatment of several trees.
