"Allen Noel came to work on the refrigerator on August 9th. He proceeded to place the new parts in the refrigerator and removed the freon. He did say that he was missing that small part called a JIG and that it needed to be ordered from LG. He was at my home approx 1 hour and left everything torn apart and on the floor for when he returned to finish the job. I called him a week later (on a Monday) and asked if he had received the missing part which he said he did have it. He told me could not get back to finish the job until that friday and that he would call me. Friday came and went with Allen not calling or returning. This pattern of calling him was done every week until the end of Sept. He said the same thing every time, that he was extremely busy and that he would show up on Friday. During this time, I had told him that I had fallen tripping over the boxes and that I needed him to come back. Never returned. I finally got a tech that knew what he was doing. He had to called and asked Allen to send me the part he received from LG, he never returned it."

"Davis Construction and Mechanical were absolutely fantastic to work with. I simply cannot say enough good things about them. They are a no-nonsense father-son team who don't sub-contract. When you hire them--they do the work. When I solicit estimates, I typically get at least 5 quotes. A couple other companies (not naming names) had very fancy presentations--but offered estimates at more than double of Davis Construction and Mechanical's quote. The Davis' walked through our home while we talked about our vision. They, in turn, gave us a concrete vision of what they can accomplish within our budget. During the project, we changed our minds multiple times, varied on what we wanted. The Davis' were extremely patient and understanding and ultimately exceeded our expectations. Our budget grew because of add-ons we asked them to do. They stuck true to form on the additional projects and delivered results above expectations. I am a fiscal hawk (I work with money and budgets for a living) and felt comfortable talking dollars and budgets with them at all times. I usually move forward on projects with a strong poker face...but with Davis Construction and Mechanical, I could relax knowing I was getting maximum bang for the buck. In addition to some other projects, we completely remolded an unfinished, uninsulated attic adding 850 SF of living space with 2 large bedrooms and a full bathroom. Before it was even done, we had multiple neighbors asking for their phone number. We will use them again in the future. A recommendation from me is hard to earn--but I give Davis Construction and Mechanical my strongest recommendation for any home project whether big or small."

"Since it has been installed, it has only come on line once. During a storm, the lights flickered and on about the third flicker, the back-up generator kicked on and ran for about less than 10 or 15 minutes. It was not an extended failure, however I experience no down time due to loss of power. It seems to work fine!"

"We replaced the original roof on our house. I expressed my concerns about re-installation of the lightening rods to my roofer. We have had at least three direct hits since they were originally installed in 2013. My roofer called William who was very helpful. William offered to come out an make sure everything was 100% after re-installation. He came the day after I called and I'm glad he did. While the reinstall was the best he had seen (his words) there were issues after 5 year and 3 strikes that needed addressed. He fixed those and now I have a new roof and I am certain the lightening rods will work as intended. Highly recommend this company."
