We lost heat and water the same time in February in our Long Pond, PA house. Called Ultimate Plumbing & Heating. The owner, Tom, was very helpful with explaining what my options were and how to save money on potentially expensive repair. Tom helped to obtain furnace part form the Ducane distributor in Wilkes Barre (40 ml away), brought new well pump, pressure tank and all other needed parts. Tom, Chris and Michael are real professionals, worked calm, diligently, with no rush restoring heat and water supply. I would like to express my appreciation for exceptional customer service and workmanship. They were very patient and professional, answered all my questions in detail. They were terrific. After reaching out unsuccessfully to other plumbing services, I contacted Ultimate Plumbing. To my surprise at this point, they showed up exactly when they said they would. They also came equipped with the necessary supplies to address the conditions on site. Further, after identifying that my pressure tank was no longer functioning properly (as had been noted in the original pre-purchase house inspection 18 months before, but missed by my contractor), they removed the old tank and installed a well-reviewed replacement on the same site visit at a market competitive price. At no extra charge and without my prodding, they also replaced virtually all of the existing copper tubing in the crawlspace with PEX, while maintaining their quoted price. They also installed a cut-off valve on the pipe leading to the outside spigot, to minimize the chance of it freezing. When I subsequently received the additional filtering component for my filtration system, they again arrived on time and incorporated the new component at their stated price. My work with Ultimate Plumbing and Heating ranks among my best contracting experiences on an extensive home remodeling project. With their level and quality of service, they are going to be the first place I call to see if there is any component of my next project that falls within their scope. My total outlay included the purchase and installation of a new pressure tank.

I called and spoke to Tom who said he was the owner. He was very polite and listened to my concerns about the leak causing flooding to my first floor. Tom showed up within an hour to fix the leak. He was very professional. Didn't dirty up my house going in & out for tools or equipment. The repair was completed in less than an hour. He even cleaned up his mess after finishing with the repair.

They were here on time, explained exactly what they were going to do, asked my input and began immediately. They took the old huge hot water heater with them which saved me the headache. The installation was flawless, they were very professional and cleaned up every bit of the mess they made. Fantastic!!

He comes right over if you need him. Plumbing and Hvac repairs/installs, both big and small projects. He is honest, responsive, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. His crew is also skilled and trustworthy. I have been using him for about 10 years and he is the only one I call. I would highly recommend him for anybody.

There was a decent young guy who came with him when they came out to replace the pump in the well. This time, he came out with another person. Generally, they were okay. The only concern that I ,may have is that they were dumping water and that they had left the basement both doors unlocked. I thought the price was reasonable. The quality of the work was good. They responded to the call in a reasonable amount of time and did the fix in one day. I haven't had to call them back because I've not had issues since them. I have a warranty with them if I ever have to call them.
