+ 0 moreThe roof was not installed properly. Did not perform the work as indicated in the contract. Did not respond to complaints to repair defects in the roof installation. In total, not a dependable company.
Description of Work: Strauss Homes, now operating as Right Choice Construction and Excavation (Chet Botch and Amy Strauss) did not perform the work for which they were paid. There was a leak in my roof two weeks after installation and they were slow to respond and repair. Two years later there is a leak in the same area and they failed to respond making numerous excuses; too busy, fired the employee who was supposed to come, then the next employee was arrested. Three different roofers and their terminated and arrested employees inspected the roof and noted numerous deficiencies and incomplete/improper installation of the roof. I regret hiring this company. They do not respond to complaints in a timely manner. They perform substandard work. They take no responsibility for the deficiencies in the work of their employees. Everything is beyond their control. I predict you will regret doing any business with them.

+ 0 moreHe sent a carpenter that was contracted by the company. The original crew was in a car accident, and they had to quickly hire somebody else. I was very pleased. The gentleman was very skilled. They completed the job in ten days. They gave me the best deal for the money. Everybody gave an estimate that was $2000 or $3000 above theirs. As long as they sent a skilled contractor, I knew they would do the job right. I was happy with them.
Description of Work: I wanted to do a dormer on the top of my garage. He needed to reinforce the floor in one section.
