DAVIS REAL ESTATE

Description of Work: I had a contract with Davis Real Estate to sell a property in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. The first realtor I worked with did sloppy work, charged me for cleanup work without providing a cost estimate in advance, and was difficult to reach and communicate with. She eventually was terminated from the company and the owner had me sign a second contract and took over. There was no successful sale (not due to any problem with Davis Real Estate), but now that the contract has expired, I am trying to get the keys to the property returned. I have been trying since March 2011. I have sent numerous e-mails and left numerous voice mail messages. Patty Davis does not respond. I would never use this company again. Follow-up: I finally received keys to my property two weeks ago after but not until after complaints were filed by me with the Better Business Bureau and the PA Board of Realtors. After all that, Ms. Davis accused me of creating the problem, even though it was her agent who changed the locks to the property, took items from the property without permission and used her husband to do repairs in the amount of $500 without giving me an estimate of the cost. Very unprofessional company.
