Ryan, John, Jerry and all of the guys were amazing from start to finish! I needed my ceiling in my living room drywalled. I called A.R.C./G.E.S. less than two weeks from the time I needed someone to do the job for me. Jerry came out and inspected the job promptly, and they quickly put a quote together for me. I only gave them 5 days to complete the job, and they came through. I cannot express enough how happy I am with the work they did, and how quickly they got it done. I was on a very tight timeline for remodeling my living room, and they worked with me every step of the way. Jerry even came back at the end and cleaned up a lot of dirt that probably wasn’t even theirs. I will definitely be calling these guys again when I need some work done.

Very helpful and polite gentleman did the site survey and provided a written estimate soon after. The Team contacted us when ready to work, showed up on time and explained their process. Spent extra half day to insure a thorough job. Results were excellent.

We were being relocated with my husband's company, and needed repairs done ASAP in order to move. I called them on a Monday, they came out to give an estimate that Tuesday, and repairs were completed by Friday. Not only was the work done quickly, it was done well AND they did not give us a hard time about having to fill out extra paperwork required by our relocation company. Definitely a GREAT experience!!

Jerry provided me with a free, no obligation quote and was very clear about the work that needed to be completed. At no time did I feel any pressure. The GES Services price was right in line with the two other quotes I received, but I selected them based off the thorough statement of work and Jerry's professional attitude. Jerry was very courteous and stayed in constant communication. He called me several times to firm up a start date and he began the job and completed it in the time frame he committed to. The roof looks excellent and Jerry's crew did an excellent job cleaning up all debris and materials that were garbage or not needed. I would recommend Jerry to anyone and will call on GES for future services with confidence.

Jerry was prompt as always and completed the job quickly and efficiently. We were extremely pleased, as we always are with GES Properties' work.

The two-man team was responsive and friendly; Jerry called ahead of time to confirm appointment and arrived shortly thereafter. The team completed the job as agreed, to include rinsing off the shed as negotiated in the contract. But they also washed the outside storage bin that holds our two trash cans, without us even asking about it! They moved items as necessary to access the siding (for example, our patio chairs) and returned them upon completing the task. They started with the roof and moved around the 2600 square-foot, 2-story house, completing the job in one day. The pair were very friendly and conversational, but professional. They refused to accept a tip from us for the job exceeding our expectations.

After several weather related delays, the GES Property Pros team showed up and completely cleaner the exterior of our home. They even cleaned the basement stairway, which was covered with green algea. The work was professionally done and the house looks great.

I contacted Jerry at GES for a mold inspection on a property that my husband and I were interested in purchasing. We had a short time frame for the inspection, and I really appreciated that Jerry was willing to come out on short notice, the Friday before a holiday weekend. Jerry and his partner (a former fireman who was a huge asset to the inspection since there had been a fire at the house), did an incredibly thorough job. They spent the time necessary to examine the house and answer all of my questions. They are incredibly knowledgeable and competent professionals. As it turned out, the house had some significant problems and we decided not to move forward with the purchase. I am relieved that I called Jerry -- I will never buy a house without calling on his services!

Great! Jerry and his assistance arrived on time and got right to work. Took great care to not disturb bushes and flowers around the house. Did not stop until job was entirely done. Also want to note that both gentlemen were very nice and courteous and answered all questions and concerns we had. They really know what they are doing. This is the third time that GES has power washed my home. I have it done every other year and wouldn't even think of having anyone else do this service. Thanks again, Jerry. Great job!

GES Property Pros LLC had cleaned our house and solar panels in the summer of 2012, and they did such an outstanding job at that time, we did not hesitate to call them to wash the house again. This time, we also asked them for estimates to wash our gazebo and remove the stains from the shingles on the shady side of the house. (We have cleaned the gazebo ourselves in prior years, and it was quite a tedious job.) The company kept us informed when weather conditions made it necessary to reschedule our job. They called us the day before the work was done to confirm the appointment. They arrived on schedule and began work. It took approximately 4 hours to complete everything. When they finished, everything they had cleaned looked brand new! They do NOT use high water pressure, so there is no risk of damage caused by excessively high pressure. The cleaners they use are not harmful to pets or plants, and they nonetheless rinsed nearby shrubs with water after cleaning the siding. The gray and black streaks that had marked our white rain gutters were gone. The cleaning made the biggest difference on the shady side of the house -- the green stains on the siding and deck were gone, as were the black areas on the roof shingles. The roof, in particular, looked new. The gazebo also looked new -- the composite decking, the vinyl railings, and the wood interior were all spotlessly clean.

GES arrived on time and got to work. They took approximately two hours to clean the house. The outside is sparkling the dirt and grime are gone from the siding. The stains on the gutter have disappeared also. They cleaned when finished and other than a clean house, one would never know they were here. I believe they are getting two or three more jobs based on our house.

GES Property Pros LLC arrived on time as scheduled. They had called the day before to confirm. They spent approximately 3.5 to 4.0 hours meticulously cleaning everything that was noted. They did an excellent job. Not only are the mold streaks completely removed, but the stained gutters look like new. Their product is excellent and it is important to note that because this is not power washing, there is no chance of high pressure water marks. They took great care to avoid damage to foundation shrubs and plants. All in all a great job and certainly worthy of an excellent recommendation. Will certainly contact them in the future when the house needs cleaning again.

It is hard to put a price on this review because we keep calling these guys back for this or that and their general handyman services are ongoing through all our big projects. We live in an older ranch house (built in 1977) that is not necessarily falling apart, but it certainly has had to have some "work done" in the last few years. All of our big projects have been previously reviewed: 2013 - Flooded finished basement repair and remodel, including electrical upgrades 2014/15 - Bathroom remodel Window Repair (mold remediation) Remodel of screened porch to a full sunroom addition - CURRENT PROJECT Each project these guys do could easily fall into every category because they do almost every aspect themselves. Sometimes, the behind the scenes work the moldings, moving header beams, siding, framing walls, fixing sagging overhead beams, etc., tend to get forgotten in the big picture. It shouldn't be, but we just can't cover them all. We suggest you look at our other reviews, but if you don't have time for that, then know that whenever you need something done, GES PROPERTY PROS will do the best job for you at the best price. You probably won't know when you start your project how much better off you will be for knowing these guys, but once you let them do that first job for you, there will never be a need to look anywhere else for your home projects.

We've had several projects in which GES has updated and/or added to our electrical system. When our finished basement flooded in 2013, they not only did the necessary repairs to satisfy our insurance requirements, but they also brought the electrical for the 1977 house up to 2013 code and increased the capacity of our electrical panels. They upgraded the space further with recessed lighting and the addition of a wall that would eventually house a large-screen TV, preparing it with all the electrical and cable connections that would be necessary. We changed out some old baseboard heating with upgraded small wall units that run from the new thermostat they installed. They worked with us to add level-to-level fans that circulate the warm air from our pellet stove to the upstairs of our ranch home. After this they tackled some smaller jobs such as outdoor receptacles and dryer venting. Not only do they do everything we asked, they also assisted with preparing the electrical system for other renovations for the upstairs we were planning in the future. They made sure we would be ready to add central air when the time comes and not have to open up our ceiling in the basement to run any additional wiring. These are things we didn't even think about, but they did. We found their experience invaluable as we uncovered more things in our older home that we wanted to or needed to fix. Our list is long, but we can always discuss priorities with them and how best to tackle each item on a timeline that makes sense for us. We're currently in the midst of renovating a screened in porch to a full sunny addition to the back of our home. Wiring has been added accordingly and we will be installing recessed lighting within the next couple of weeks. GES helps us with planning, pricing, and they always make sure everything is done right. Every time they finish an electrical project in our house, we immediately feel safer!

GES was very meticulous. They were prompt and kept us informed when there was a weather delay that precluded GES from performing their washing service. They did an excellent job protecting the vegetation around the house while washing the vinyl siding. The process used is not a pressure washing system. The chemical wash did a fantastic job including the gutters. The gutters were stained and we tried cleaning them ourselves but was unsuccessful. The GES chemical wash system returned our gutters to new looking condition. The whole job was very professional and we are now going to have them again now that 3 years has since passed. We are looking forward to a clean and renewed house appearance once again.

While working on a sun room remodel, we had the opportunity (and took it!) to remodel our main and master bathrooms. As we had access to the back wall of the main bath, we purchased an all-in-one tub/shower unit and we also reversed the access of this bathtub and the master bath shower which had previously shared a wall and were inaccessible. This should have been a straight-forward situation, however we did run into issues with the bathtub we purchased -- it was defective and the guys from GES dealt with the supplier to get it returned and repaired and reinstalled. They were absolutely on top of everything and even went to the supplier to check out the replacement before it was delivered. These guys really, really have your back!

These guys were/are wonderful! They were recommended to us by our neighbors when we had a main water line break in our finished basement. They came in and gave us quotes to repair everything up to 2013 code, dealt with our insurance company, accomplished the necessary repairs in a very timely manner, and then further worked with us on additional renovations as their prices were so reasonable and work was so excellent we went forward with a full upgrade of the space. We ended up with the basement of our dreams and these guys on speed-dial! They not only helped us on this project, they also highlighted all the things we?d need to do now to prepare our plumbing and electrical systems for future renovations planned for our main level. You?ll see many more reviews from us in other sections, because we have found our "go-to" guys for everything involving home improvement, renovation and repair: GES PROPERTY PROS!

Our second project with GES was the complete overhaul of our screened back porch to a full room addition. The room was modified with walls, replacement windows, new door and storm door, new siding, drywall, ceiling, tile, and removal of the old sliding-glass door to be replaced by a larger opening to our kitchen (which included moving a header beam). At this time, we also began a bathroom remodel at the same time as the back wall of the bathroom was accessible and enabled us to totally replace our existing tub with a complete tub/shower unit. GES does all the work or subcontracts it. All the work was performed in a very organized and timely manner. They are extremely thorough, and will always quote everything out for you so you know exactly what you?re facing. What we also like is that they do all the projects according to our timelines. We could do a little at a time and this helped us to make final decisions on the space based on living in it for awhile, plus it helped us plan out the financial side of this too. This project is currently on-going.

During the course of other home remodeling projects, we mentioned to the guys from GES that we smelled a mildew odor around our bedroom windows for years. They looked into it for us and we were somewhat shocked to find that replacement windows that had been installed decades before had not been finished properly. There were places where water had been entering the walls for all this time creating mold and insect issues. GES offered us several different options to deal with the issue. These included a repair, a repair and refit of the windows, or a complete replacement of the windows. Each of these options came in at a different price. We had no doubt that when we asked Jerry and Rich of GES what they would do, that they would not just tell us the most expensive option. We were right, both of them and Jerry's son, all said they would do the LEAST expensive option of just the repair. That's exactly what we did and we now feel much safer in our home. We completely trust that they have done what was necessary, but kept us from overspending for repairs we really didn't need.

My home in Northern VA sufferred extensive damage and mold growth due to massive flooding caused by a ruptured pipe (frozen). I am an officer in the military and live in RI; I discovered the flooding and damage roughly a week after it had begun. Shortly after discovering the flooding and damge, I had to return to RI manage this project remotely (primarily via telephone and email). Jerry Misner, Richard Myers, and the rest of the Grangeville team were absolutely phenomenal. They were responsive, diligent, meticulous, and exceptionally professional throughout the entire project. I dealt primarily wih Jerry and he was exceptionally thorough-- it was clear to me that he was not only competent but he had the highest standards for quality. Perhaps most importantly, however, I learned very quickly that he was completely and utterly trustworthy. This water loss has been traumatic for me and my family and represents a significant financial loss-- thankfully, Grangeville Environmental Services has made this one aspect of our ordeal significantly easier because of their professionalism, quality of work, the character of their employees, and their very reasonable price. Price: the initial estimate GES gave me for this project was exactly ONE THIRD of a large, national chain competitor... AND they proposed a more aggressive (i.e., more thorough) scope of work. Summary: if you have a need for mold remediation/environmental services, HIRE GRANGEVILLE!!! I could not recommend them more strongly. I guarantee you will not find a better value (outstanding service for a relatively inexpensive price) out there!

We had a serious mold problem in our attic, which caught me off guard because the roof was only 7 years old. So I called the original roofer, expecting them to come out and fix the problem. The warranty had expired after 5 years, so no dice. They had installed a ridge vent and an attic fan, but had neglected to close off the gable vents at either end of the house. If you have a gable roof, TAKE NOTE! Air and moisture were coming in the gable vents and going out the ridge vents, most times leaving condensate on the all the plywood & trusses, which promoted some very vigorous mold growth. Long story short: Grangeville sprayed down all the interior wood surfaces in our attic with a mold killer. This was followed the next day by an application of mold inhibitor. I got a one year limited attic mold warranty (which is about the best anybody can give you). The wood in the attic looked BRAND NEW after the mold treatments. I was very satisfied with the work. Grangeville is located on the other side of Pennsylvania from Pittsburgh, but they are willing to travel here. There is a $125 estimate fee which can be applied towards any work they subsequently do. I did not find ANYONE is the Pittsburgh area who seemed as professional and qualified. I highly recommend this contractor.
