The process went very smoothly and professionally. The Evans team was efficient, courteous, and left the job without a trace. In fact, if I hadn't seen them on my roof, I wouldn't have known they were even there 5 minutes after they left (other than seeing the new roof, of course)! Everything, including the dumpster, was gone within a half an hour of them completing the job. Very pleased.

Jason came out twice (2013 and 2015) to check my roof and evaluate the need for a replacement. Both times he did a thorough evaluation and felt the roof did not need to be replaced at those times, though was toward the age at which it could begin to have problems. Because of his honesty and his many excellent reviews, I knew that when it was time to replace the roof, I would call Jason. He explained the process, when supplies/dumpster would be delivered and kept in close contact regarding any possible weather delays (which did not occur.) Less than 3 weeks from my initial call to him this year, we had a beautiful new roof. Jason and his crew were punctual, polite and cleaned up our property afterward. I would recommend using Evans Quality Roofing for any roofing needs. It was a great,no-hassle experience with a quality company.

From a cost and quality standpoint we could not be happier in selecting Evans Quality Roofing. We highly recommend them for any roof replacement you may be thinking about. We had our roof replaced in October 2016. We waited until now since we wanted to have some bad weather hit to provide a complete review. As you know Maryland has been hit with some big down pours and high winds since October. The roof has held up perfectly. Jason was easy to work from his initial visit to discuss the scope of the job up through the completion. There was some carpentry work needed and Jason made it clear he did not do some of things we needed but provided a name and number of a carpenter he works with. His carpenter also worked out well and the additional work was completed within days of the roof replacement. After selecting Evans, my wife and I were undecided between a couple of different colors. Jason provided some sample sheets of shingles for the one color we were leaning towards since trying to determine what an entire roof will look like from the small sample on the display board is pretty hard. The samples allowed us to confirm it was the right one. After the job was completed it was definitely the right roof for our house. His crew arrived bright and early and had it the entire job completed before day’s end. The scope of the work was a complete tear off and install as well as a replacement of a fixed skylight with a working skylight. Jason was on site off and on throughout the day and let me know how things were progressing. In addition the one unknown going in was how many sheets of plywood would need to be replaced since this would not be known the old roof was torn off. In his original estimate it included some sheets as well as the per sheet installation for anything above that number. Turns out he was spot on in his original estimate no additional sheets were needed. The cleanup around the house of the debris from the tear off was thorough. Jason quickly contacted me after my inquire an set up a date that week. He stopped by took a look at the roof, ran out to buy materials, came back and finished the job in a short time. Left the leftover materials from the job in case I'd need them again. Great guy and I'd hire/recommend him again!

I cannot speak highly enough of Jason and his 8 man roofing crew. They showed up early for the job (before the sun was up) and we're on the roof a half hour after dark. Amazingly finished a rather complex roof (lots of valleys) in one day. The next morning a couple of guys came back for clean up and were done by noon. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Jason if you have need for a roofer...not to mention the $25 gift card from him during the Holidays.

Jason the owner was very professional and quick to respond to any contact. Offered a repair for a leaky roof but also gave a quote for a new roof as our current roof was over 20 years old. We chose the new roof so he came out to do the patchwork free of charge until he could get us on the schedule for the new roof. The install day went well as his team worked from early in the am until nightfall. Cleanup was good and Jason even came out a few days later to inspect and finish any residual cleanup. Overall very good transaction!

I found Evans Quality Roofing through Angie's List. I had received two other quotes earlier in the year for the roof - with similar quality materials. One was $14,500, the other $16,000 - both were willing to discount about $2000 to sign on the dotted line that day - or within the next week or so. Jason Evans came out within a day of contacting him, and we went over the roof. I arranged to have up to 8 sheets of plywood replaced, expecting to find some damage after the shingles were removed. Turns out we only had to replace 3 sheets - I crawled up on the roof with Jason to look over the plywood after his crew had removed the old roof, and we found three spots that needed repaired. He had a crew of 6, as well as himself, and he hung around most of the day to supervise, and make sure things went smoothly, and I talked to him a number of times throughout the day to see how things were going. The dumpster and the roofing material was delivered the day before the job - materials placed on the roof with a crane. His crew got started around 7:30 the next morning, and were done, cleaned up, and gone by 5:00, with the dumpster picked up the next morning. I have to say that I am quite pleased with the results - the house has two stone chimneys, and both needed reflashed. Not only did they do a good job of that, but they also caulked the cracks in the mortar while they were on the roof. They also had to work around our glass-roofed sun-room on the first floor below the two-story roof - and did a great job of protecting that. Jason delivered everything he promised. I watched the roof go on, and I could see that it was installed properly. The crew did a decent job of not trampling the foundation plantings, except for one area that I knew couldn't be avoided. They also saved the gutter guard and put it back on after the roof was on. They did a decent job of cleaning up afterwards - went around and pulled errant paper and shingles out of bushes, and took care of cleaning up nails and gutters. I did find one gutter that had a bunch of nails piled in the end - they had been swept to that end during clean up, but must have been missed later on. I have found perhaps a couple of dozen nails since then - some on the roof, some in the gutters, or at the bottom of downspouts, some on the patio or driveway. Likely can't avoid that - given how may of them there are when the old roof is pulled off. Jason was easy to work with, and was very open and honest about how the work would be done. One day (about 9 hours) start to finish, with a quality roof, and a quality installation, and thousands of dollars less than the other quotes I received. My wife and I are both quite pleased with the outcome, and the overall experience. I would highly recommend Evans Quality Roofing.

It went great! The roofers were easy to work with, prompt and professional. The shingles matched our house's shingles almost perfectly. I appreciated their careful clean-up to make sure all metal was picked up to protect our dogs. I would highly recommend Evans.

The work was completed as agreed upon. Very good and hard working roof crew completed the roof installation in one day about 3100 sq ft. The gutters were completed a few days later . Roof installation was flawless and fast. There were some minor problems with the gutter installation, but Jason Evans (the owner) took care of it quickly. Evans Roofing had an excellent deal in roof installation and with an excellent rating. Gutter installation was a little on the high side, but overall price still very good. Others on Angies list would claim to have good deals but if your roof was larger than described in the deal, they really jacked up those prices. Evans had the same price per sq ft no matter the size of the roof. Tried hiring a local contractor since Evans was in PA about 2 hours away. I was getting very unrealistic bids from $20K from Home Depot down to about $12.5K from someone local, but with mediocre ratings. Decided to sign up for Angie's list where I found Evans. But you still need to search on Angie's list if you want a good deal.

Jason came and gave a free estimate. Another highly rated provider on Angies list charged $200 for the estimate! Jason's price was the same as the other provider and for the same work. He actually dropped the price a bit to out bid the other guy even though I would have went with him anyway. His crew came at the appointed day and did a great job. The work looks great, price was fair, and no pressure and no nonsense. All around good experience would definitely recommend him!

Jason was the third estimate we got and he was $1700-2400 less than the other two. He was also the only one not to charge us for a sheet of plywood that it turned out we didn't need. Because Evan's Roofing is a small company, Jason himself was the one to come and inspect the roof and give an estimate, not a salesman like the other two companies. At first he said it would be 5-6 weeks until he would get to us but when we said we needed it sooner, he moved it to 3 weeks away. He answered all phone calls and texts on the same day that I called or texted him. It was not supposed to rain on the day but it began to mist and his crew was able to remove the old roof and put the underlay down before it began to seriously rain. Then he called in a couple more guys (making it 6 in all) and they finished it in the rain. The whole job only took about 5 hours. The roof looks great and no rain is coming through the soffit which was the original problem. The job was well cleaned up and all our shrubbery was undamaged.

From the time I first contacted Jason he responded quickly to my requests. Jason brought us samples of the shingles to see the actual colors and any questions I had he followed up quickly with the answers. I picked Jason to do the job for us after checking him on Angies List. They took care to "protect" around the house with tarps and as Jason said-- they were done by end of day. They did a great job cleaning up afterward and all were very professional acting. There was a small issue with the flashing but Jason came out the next day and fixed it. Of the 3 companies we contacted for estimates to replace our asphalt shingle roof, Jason was by far the most responsive. He waited patiently while we reviewed the offers and once we notified him we wanted his company to do the work, he responded and scheduled our job within 2 weeks. He arrived with a full crew on the day scheduled and completed the work as promised and best of all - No Leaks! Good job in cleaning up (I have yet to find any old nails and only small pieces of the old asphalt shingles). All-in-all we were very satisfied.

Before coming out, Jason called to ask where he should place the dumpster so it wouldn't interfere with any other work being done. Access to the roof was limited due to power lines and trees, so they had to hand carry everything up. Even so, the job was completed in one day, which impressed me. The cleanup was excellent and the finished product is beautiful. I am happy to recommend him to anyone who needs roof repair or replacement.

Went well- was most impressed with how well they maintained and cleaned up nails (we have young children). Jason was easy to reach with questions and quick to respond.

Jason came out and did our estimate soon after calling him. He came in a little bit more expensive than our lowest quote but he was going to use everything we wanted. He definitely had the lowest price of all the companies using everything that we wanted. We were scheduled for two weeks from the date I agreed to the contract and they delivered the supplies on top of our roof the day before the install was supposed to be done. We were cancelled on our install day due to rain (not Jason's fault) but they were out there two days later. Jason showed up around 7am and let me know his team would be there soon. The actual workers showed up at 8am and were all done with a 24 square roof by 1:30pm. The roof looks fantastic, they found a few pieces of rotten ply, and hopefully it doesn't leak anymore for a long time. Definitely recommend Jason and his business!
