I contacted him by email because his good ratings in Angie's list. He answered promptly and came to look at the job and as soon as he explained to me how he was going to do it, I knew I wanted to hire him to do the job. Shortly I received an e-mail with the estimate, I did not bother in seeking another estimate, so I asked him for a date when he could do this, he replied that he was very bussy working in Maryland, I was willing to wait, except it did rain a lot and I guess he was behind in his schedule. I did not hear anything for a while so I sent him another e-mail asking him if he was still interested on doing this job, he replied yes, that besides all the rain delays he had a family medical emergency that week, and he would contact me as soon as he could. So he set it up for I believe June 7th and it rained, finally he was able to come on the 14th, and it did a good job because it has rained hard since then and there is no sign of leaks so far. I initially contacted him in the later part April, it took till June before we could get this job done, and most of it because it did not stop raining. I think this could have been done much faster if we wouldn't have so much rain.- He was very professional, and very polite, the communication was a little slow, but yes he is good at his business and I recommend him.-

The complete process was completed in 3 days. From tear-off to completion. The 1st day was the longest with the tear-off of old roof, plywood replacement of 2 sheets, underlayment cover, install of solar fan, and start of shingling roof. At the end of the 1st day they did a deep detail on clean-up to insure all nails/staples, misc. trash was picked-up was thrown in dumpster. 2nd day was all shingling as was 3rd day with the install of roof vent, that wasnt on roof at that time, they had to cut in the roof vent prior to install. He did walk the entire house area daily upon work completion to ensure area was clean of debris. Jason (and his crew) was very professional at all times and was very prompt answering all questions asked of him. Very pleased with the whole process and the end result. Would recommend to everyone I know and all of those that read this review. Since install we have experienced several severe thunderstorms with extreme rain and are happy to report no issues.Very, Very Happy!! Thanks Jason!!!

They guy came out originally in January but just to survey the gutters because he told us it was too early in the season and things would still be frozen, so then in February when he came back he was able to clean the gutters and cut away a large portion of vines that were creeping up the back of our townhouse. He was prompt and friendly. Would recommend.

He on to the roof to look around. I was a little nervous because he came out on a rainy day when there were plenty of days that were sunny out that he could have came. Every time I contacted him, he was unable to come and every time he contacted me, he would call and ask if he could come later today but I would be at work or out. It was never scheduled ahead of time because he told me he tries to fit his Angie's list customers whenever he can. He went up to my attic and looked for the leak to see and he said there was a part that was blocked of that he couldn't see and he thinks that's where the leak is so there was nothing he could do. When he came down, he broke a piece of the molding leading up to the attic and he did a half-a** job fixing it.

I called Jason, left a message and he got back to me in one business day. He stated that he was on a job but was going to be done by Thursday and he could come to my house on Friday to give me an estimate. He came to my house on time, I told him what I thought it was. He immediately went up on high, steep, 2.5 story roof IN THE RAIN. He said the gasket was split and he could fix it right away. He gave me a price and I had him fix it. The total visit was about half an hour. This is how business is supposed to be done! I thank Jason for being responsive and sticking to his promises and punctuality. Would definitely use again!

I made a big deal purchase for them. They were fine, they were very good. He was excellent and the price was excellent.

We chose our roofer based on Angie's List recommendations, and were very pleased! We used Evans Quality Roofing, and Jason came himself to give us the estimate. He was very pleasant and professional. He had his crew here for two days, and they did a great job! He is also the only contractor that we've dealt with who sent us a thank you note for our business! You won't be disappointed with his services!

He’s really good and arrived when he said he would. He got in, talked to me, got up there and cleaned my gutters out. The price was a great deal.

Quick and easy, and now the roof is ready for some extra wind challenges.

While I was shocked initially about the additional costs for the roof because of size and slope, I did look forward to having the work completed at a time convenient for me. Jason was very accomodating in explaining the additional costs and was very receptive to completing the work at the time i requested. I thought it would take the majority of the week to complete the job and that was barring any weather issues. I believe Jason also thought it would be at least 3or 4 days to complete. Jason used a subcontractor to help with the tear-off of the roof and the subcontractors were very skilled and thorough with that portion of the job. While I believe Jason fully expected to do most of the roofing himself, when it was clear that rain was in the forecast for day 2 and possibly day 3, he made the decision to also use the subcontractors, who were very qualified roofers as well, to help expedite the completion of the work. I was home for day 1 and was absolutely astonished with the amount of work they completed and the clean-up that followed that day's work. I had to be out of the house on day 2 and when it became clear that rain was going to fall by early afternoon I fully expected to return home later that day to find that only the sheeting would be in place to protect the remainder of the roof where shingles were removed. What I saw was a completed roof. DONE...CLEANED UP...and everything returned to it's proper place around the house. I was AMAZED. The roof looks great and i am very pleased with the outcome of the experience with Jason and his crew. I would highly recommend his company to anyone needing a new roof.

We decided to try Jason after reading other positive reviews on Angie's List, and receiving three other estimates. I'm sure glad we did!! We simply could not be more pleased with the overall workmanship, product, and price. Jason is extremely competitive in price, and I can't imagine how the workmanship could be any better. Jason provided an estimate very quickly, completed all work exactly in the time frame and manner in which he stated, and kindly answered my many questions before and after the installation (I'm picky and curious!). He willingly shared product names and literature for all materials used, and cheerfully substituted a different type of roof vent that I had requested - not because his products are inferior, but because I had a personal preference. He was neat and tidy during the installation, and took extra time time at the end of the job to use a magnet wheel around the perimeter of the house as a precaution to collect any nails that might have fallen into the lawn or gardens - nice touch! Also impressive was Jason's business etiquette. He is extremely professional, polite, prompt, and very articulate in all communications. Jason's business card says it all: "A Roofer You Can Trust".

Came to do an estimate. We weren't home, so I can't say he showed up on time, but he had the bet turn around for the actual estimate being provided. We narrowed it down to him and another estimate, the deciding factor was merely a $100 price difference. Both companies got good reviews and did well with the estimates, we needed a deciding factir so we went with the price, even if the difference was small. Would happily have used this company though!

Contacted Jason by email and he got back to me with an estimate 3 days later. Due to the weather and other scheduled jobs, we were able to schedule the repair about a week later. As part of the roof inspection, he found that the pipe collars were cracking and recommended that they be replaced. He conducted the following work on 2/26 -- Installed new ice shield, step flashing, caulk and counter flashing to chimney area and replaced 2 old pipe collars with 2 new ones. He cleaned up everything and repaired everything to our satisfaction

He did a thorough job of cleaning out all of our high and low roof gutters. The work was done quickly and no mess was left. In the process of cleaning the gutters, the contractor spotted a few problems but put no pressure on us to have him fix the problems. I asked him to do some caulking around protruding roof vents which he did for a nominal charge.

Jason was very professional. His appointment was on Friday, but since he was in the area, he called to see if he could stop by earlier in the week! He promptly emailed me his proposal. We didn't go with him only because we wanted a bigger company.

Your ratings aren't high enough for this Professional. Jason returned my phone call within 24 hours; he was polite and professional. After playing "phone tag" we schedule a time convenient to both of us. Jason was on time; he listened to my concerns and he went to work. He provided me with a description of my 20+ year old roof; showed me a picture of the damage to my sewer pipe whic he promptly repaired. Start to finish the ladder was back on Jason's truck in an hour and I was no longer worried about the leak in my bathoom ceiling. The best $149 I've spent in a long time. I took several of Jason's business cards and I will be handing them out to my neighbors with the recommendation to join Angie's List.

Outstanding service. Jason came as scheduled for the estimate, gave me the lowest one of 4 I received. I engaged him to do the work. He called to let me know when materials etc would arrive and when he would start. Everything was as promised and very professional. I would readily call him again, should I need service.

The guy was nice and professional. Only negative was it took him over a month to get to us because his truck had broken down and it seemed he did not get it fixed in time. By the time he got to us, he said his truck was still not fixed. I guess he's a small operation guy with one truck or something. But once he got here, everything was done professionally and promptly.

Worked was done on time and Jason was very professional. Jason even send pictures of the finished worked.

Responsive and thorough. Outlined the condition of our skylights and the roof. Very patient as we considered all of our options. We've hired him to replace the skylights and roof - to be scheduled shortly.

Jason Evans did the estimate. Several others gave us an estimate, too, but Jason was the only one to put a ladder against the house and walk the roof. We had a leak near the chimney and he looked at that very closely. His estimate was documented, detailed, fair, and well thought out. The others were all over the lot. One was nothing more than a (shockingly high) number scrawled on the back of a business card. Jason started when he said he would and finished when he said he would. In the middle came Hurricane Sandy!! The new shingles had already been staged on the roof. He advised us to delay the tear-off until after the storm. Our leak got worse during the storm, but his work fixed it. We waited this long to write this review because we have not had a storm since Sandy that would test the roof's integrity. The storm last night (Jan 29/30, 2013) was a good test and there is no evidence that the leak is back. The only bad note was a small area of cleanup. The fiberglass roof over our deck still has some small shingle scraps from the tear off on it. Jason hired a crew to do the tear off but did all of the installation himself. He worked steadily and, because of the storm interruption, a little longer each day so as to stay on schedule. We are very pleased, overall, with the quality of his work. The job was the best kind - uneventful, timely, and as expected.

Work done quietly without any inconvenience. A very good feedback on the roof quality and areas that require some additional work.
