Jason was great to deal with from start to finish. Straightforward honest guy. We got quotes from 3 companies and he gave us the best price. The quality of work is great. We've received many compliments and have recommended Jason to everyone that asks. Only thing I could see anyone complaining about is that he is super busy and since it's a small company it did take a while to get on the schedule. This was not an issue for us at all. He kept in touch and once we got the date scheduled the work was done on time. They ended up needed two more bundles of shingles that what was estimated. I had to convince Jason to let me pay him extra, which I did since he bid it on a square foot cost. Hope to never need to replace a roof again but if I do, I will certainly use Evans Quality Roofing.

Excellent communication throughout all phases of the project (i.e.. bid process, selection, pre-installation/materials delivery, removal of old roofing, reinstall and post install phases). Specifically, Jason recognized the purchase represented a large expense in a category of work that I had little knowledge or expertise, he went out of his way to answer all of my questions.

Jason kept in contact with us and negotiated the price since there were some complicating issues with another company. He and his team showed up at 7:30 on the morning of Oct 13 and worked most of the day. They returned at 7:30 the following morning and stayed until all the work and clean up was completed. He and his team worked really hard to finish up, because today, Oct. 15th, it is pouring down rain, which was forecast. Jason was here for all the work. This is my 4th roof and he is the only owner of a company who stayed on the job. Finally, I believe that a good job was done. Because we have had on-going roof problems, my husband climbed up on the roof often to check on the work. All the workers, including Jason, were quite tolerant of his presence. This company also did the most thorough clean-up when the job was finished. They cleaned the debris out of the gutters, rolled a magnet through the yard to pick up errant nails, and threw away all the trash. They were even careful of my plants. Finally, I have confidence that my roof is in good shape.

I had to contact him 3 weeks after estimate to schedule. As far as the actual work, overall great job. My only issue was on the front of the house. We have a tudor style house with a portion of the roof that is visible at eye level and required exposed flashing. Black flashing and caulk was used which looked terrible. Brown should of been used. Caulk application was on the sloppy side. The decorative boards on the front of the house had to be pulled out to run the new flashing up underneath. Workers using a crowbar split and dented the boards which then needed replacing. I had to contact Mr. Evans about the repairs which he addressed in a timely manner. The damage was significant and I felt he should of took responsibility without me having to ask. There's no way it was not noticed.

Very responsive to quote, gave a good price, responded quickly and clearly to email questions. He arrived as promised. Almost completed the job in one day but returned the next day and finished up. The only glitch was that the dumpster arrived a week early through miscommunication. They took reasonable care to protect plantings but there was a little minor plant damage from the protective tarps. Did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. The crew seemed to be well organized and knowledgeable. All in all couldn't have expected much more.

Jason was very prompt in inspecting the house and providing an estimate. Once we selected which roof color we wanted, he had us on the schedule three weeks out. Installation was delayed by a few days due to rain. All work was done professionally and we were extremely pleased with the results. We highly recommend Evans Roofing!

Work crew arrived on scheduled. It took one day to remove the old roof. Completed the job in 3 days as scheduled. We spent more to get the architectural shingles. The sale price was for 2000 square feet of roof. Our job was more because the roof square footage exceeded the amount allowed for the sale price (this was included in the appraisal), so there were no surprises. The standard architectural shingles we bought are for a 30 year roof. The crew worked well, was very congenial and attentive to all questions. Would recommend the company and use them in the future.

We were pleased with the cost and felt that it was very reasonable. Jason kept in regular contact with us in the weeks leading up to the work being done and responded to any questions that we had quickly. Our home is located in the York City which presents some challenges with moving materials and dumpster placement, but Jason had everything managed well and things seemed to move seamlessly. The work was completed in 2 days. Jason's team of workers did a great job and worked very hard. They made sure that everything was cleaned up and looking nice after each day's work. Evans Quality Roofing was the first roofer I called to receive estimates. Jason Evans arrived on time and was very professional. He gave us the price before he left and although I was impressed, I wanted to obtain other bids as it had been a while since I had a new roof installed in this locality. We had four other roofers come to bid on the job. Two were very professional with nice references and prices competitive with Evans, but only Evans Quality Roofing had such a long and impressive list of satisfied clients. It was not a difficult decision - I contacted Jason and he promptly emailed his insurance certificate. On the install day, Jason showed up with his crew and immediately went to work. While his crew used heavy duty tarps to cover our plants close to the house, Jason personally arranged 4X4s on our driveway and guided the dumpster driver so that we would have minimal damage to our new driveway. (While on the subject of damages, this house has a large and very steep roof and I told my wife in advance that unavoidably, some plants would be crushed or the dumpster could leave marks on our new driveway. Neither happened ? we did not sustain any damages whatsoever). The crew worked steadily under Jason's close supervision and the roof is beautiful. Later in the day when the job was completed, I noticed that one of the vent pipes at the back of the house did not appear to be perfectly parallel to the other and notified Jason that evening. I lamented that I wished I had thought to ask for black pipe collars but that was my mistake and no problem at all. Jason was here the next day straightening the pipe to our satisfaction and even painted the pipe collars black. As if I wasn?t already impressed with this young man, he had still not accepted our final payment and explained that he wanted to be sure we were completely satisfied before doing so. The job was absolutely perfect and clean-up was such that it was as though they were never here. For future roofing needs in this area I will not be obtaining other bids ? we?ve found our roofer.

Jason's Workmen came out first day had to stop due to snow. They came back week after, job completed in one day. Job site was neat and clean. Workers very respectful.

He repaired the roof around the radon pipel He did a great job, he came here to check the problem out, went to Home depot to pick up what he needed for the job and completed it. He was a very nice person.............will use him again if needed.

I like that when I call him, he always got back to me in almost half an hour. He answered and came back really fast. Everything seems really good. My husband couldn't believe how fast they got here.

He responded and gave me an estimate in an appropriate time frame. I talked to the gentleman and let him know that I'd be getting a refund, then reached out to Angie's List, because I needed to place my funds elsewhere.

They came out today to do the estimate, and we found out that our roof is much larger than anticipated. They were very nice, but we were not prepared to pay the extra costs at this time. The gentleman was very polite.

He was prompt with everything he did. Since I don not live in the area that I had the roof installed everything was done convienantly for me by email and payments make through mail. He was very friendly and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jason called the beginning of week and stated he would come Wednesday late morning to repair our leak around the chimney. Jason came by Wednesday morning at 11 AM as he stated a couple days earlier. Grabbed his ladder and other work tools/equipment an commenced working non-stop until he completed repairing our chimney leak. Jason was very courteous and professional, he took pictures of his repair service ( new flashing and shingle replacements ) we observed Jason's work once completed, very professional and top notch repair, just in time before 20 inches of snow fell the next day. Jason's repairs proved to be what he had told us was very accurate as the last contractor so-called repairs did not stop our chimney from leaking, Jason's work was professional, gauranteed for one (1) year, the other contractor's work about nine months earlier informed us ( when we called stating the chimney was still leaking ) trying to repair a chimney leak was like patching a tire, he gave no guarantees, he only offered to come back and try to repair our leak he supposedly fixed the first time for another fee!!! I came across Jason Evans Roofing per Angieslist, wish I had Angielist ten months ago it would have saved us $400 the other contractor charged us. I would recommend Evans Roofing to anyone interested in professional service, do it right the 1st time ( no more leaking around chimney, thank you Jason ) and gauranteed very reliable customer service at a very affordable price $375. It took Jason about two hours non-stop professional work to put an end to our leaking chimney. Thank you Jason and when it comes to replacing our entire roof you can bet I will be calling Evans Roofing because "they do-the-job-right the first time with gaurantees!!! Jason was very professional and helpful throughout the process of coordinating this project. Despite bad weather for several months, the job was still completed during the specified time. The crew showed up early, did the project in a day, and cleaned everything up in a timely fashion. I would definitely use the company again for any roof projects.
