The owner showed up to do the estimate, and was completely honest with me in saying that I didn't need a new roof, just a few repairs instead. Our roof is a very complex set of different heights and dormers, and these all add up to a very expensive roofing job. So - he could have sold me a whole new roof costing thousands, because I was already "sold" on the fact that I needed one due to the leaks that we were experiencing and the fact that the house was almost 20 years old. On top of that, most contractors will just raise their price whenever they enter our development because many of the houses are very big, very nice, and well-maintained - they get the impression that we are "rich" and can afford the extra costs. I usually have to get at least 3 bids before I find someone who's within something I would call reasonable. And I don't mind paying extra money for work that's well done and a company that stands behind it. I am writing this review over two years after he did the work, and my roof is still in great shape, with no leaks since he did his magic on it. The owner is a hard-working, competent and honest businessman. He did all my repairs for $50 and explained that he couldn't give me the refund of $500 "Special Offer," since that was an Angie's List thing, and I would have to go through them to get my money back from them (he never received a penny of that fee). I never did get my money back from Angie's list, and don't recall their reasoning or justification for keeping $500 when the actual contractor only got $50, but the whole thing was still worth it. Anyway, I can't recommend this company enough. If you are in my area and need a roof or need service on a roof, you need to call this company first. Regardless of price, finding an honest contractor is very very difficult any more. Words o' caution, though... I would make sure that you need the "deal" before accepting any of the Angie's List offers because it may be a situation where you can't get your money back. Regardless, having found this contractor through the service was clearly worth the non-refundable fee that I paid to Angie's List, it's unfortunate that the Service Provider received only a small amount of the total fees paid though. I chalk that up to bad timing and/or luck.

Jason was extremely professional, he responded very quickly to all our questions, told us the exact date when work would be completed (new roof), kept to the date and finished extremely quick. Excellent quality and price. Our experience with Evan Roofing was by far the best of all the contractors we dealt with in recent renovate project. Would highly recommend to anyone.

After a lot of careful research, I talked to 8 roofers on site. We discussed materials, application,and venting techniques . Some didn't listen to my concerns and others wanted to do their standard approach at their standard price.(some high, some low) I chose Jason Evans of EvansQuality Roofing, Inc. Jason met my material and application concerns at a fair price He and his team were prompt, courteous and efficient. The quality of Jason Evans work is excellent. I highly recommend him.

Jason was absolutely wonderful to work with even before he showed up at our door. He is very prompt with his emails and phone calls and always answered all of my questions very accurately. He did a very thorough inspection of our old roof prior to giving us an estimate for replacing it and he also gave us a brochure with the different types and colors of shingles to choose from with a sample of each so we never had to leave our house to pick one. Each day on the job Jason and his crew showed up promptly and worked diligently from the time they pulled up in our driveway until the sun went down and always cleaned up very well every day. They worked quickly and did a great job. They cleaned everything up so well that you'd never had known they were even there! Jason was spot on with his estimate, which we thought was a very fair price and we were very satisfied with the entire experience from start to finish. We really enjoyed working with Jason, we think he did an excellent job, and our roof looks fantastic! We would highly recommend Evans Quality Roofing to everyone who needs a roof replaced or repaired!

The job went extremely well from start to finish. I sought three proposals from highly rated roofing contractors on Angie's list. The proposal from Jason Evans, owner of Evans Quality Roofing Inc, was submitted very quickly after Jason did a roof inspection. Of the three bids, Jason's had the lowest price and was the most responsive. The actual job was performed on schedule and with no problems. The roofing shingles were delivered to the rooftop a day or two before the job. A dumpster was delivered the morning of the job. The crew, about 6 people, started on schedule and finished in late afternoon. Jason appeared periodically to oversee work progress and kept me informed. When the roofing and gutter work was completed, cleanup was done to perfection, including a round-tht-house sweep with a large bar magnet to collect stray nails. The dumpster was removed the next morning as scheduled. Overall I couldn't be happier with the total experience.

Jason was very professional. His bid was the best. The bid was awarded to another contractor solely based on when the job could be started and being more familiar with the other contractor. I had planned to give Jason the job if the other contractor did not come down on price. He quickly returned any product questions and clarifications I had. I was most impressed with Jason after I had informed him that we would be going with another contractor. He wanted to know why we didn't use him. The main reason for the question? How he could improve. I thought that was the most professional thing I have heard over the last three weeks while dealing with the four contractors who bid for my job.

Jason and his crew arrived promptly and on time on the date of service. He and his crew were courteous and professional. They first covered all of the landscaping around the property. They then began with a complete tear off of the existing shingles.They then completed an inspection of the plywood sheeting and replaced any that needed replacing (only amounted to one sheet of plywood for various small patches). They then cut the new ridge vent. They then completed the install of the new roof with all the extras like weather shield, ice d*** protecting shield, synthetic underlayment, new drip edges, and leaf relief gutter guards. None of our lanscaping was damaged and no debris was left on the property. Usually your find numerous old nails after a tear off. The crew went around the property twice with a magnet. I think I have only found 4 nails to date (which is amazing and hard to believe, but it's the truth). This home was a new purchase and needed a new roof. Jason's price was highly competitive, but after he was finished we think we got a great deal. I would highly recommend Evans Quality Roofing for anyone that needs a new roof in his service area. The roof if you were wondering was approximately 14-15 squares. And I believe the leaf relief gutter guards measured in around 90 linear feet. The roof took approximately 6-7 hours to install with about 6-7 guys on the roof at a time. Just outstanding service all around.

Went very well. Work was done professionally. Left the property neat and clean. Completed the job in 1 day. Very happy with the outcome. Jason was very easy to work with.

The entire job could not have gone any better. Jason stated he'd begin the project at 7 AM on June 29th and at exactly 7 AM our doorbell rang. His crew joined him shortly thereafter and immediately went to work. Every member of the crew (approximately 8 workers) were diligent and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. They labored well beyond what would be considered a normal quitting time. As a result, the entire project was completed well in advance of the estimated completion date. This was especially important to us as we'd been experiencing significant leaking through the roof during the very rainy period this area had experienced during the period immediately preceding the repairs made by Evans Roofing. The clean-up was among the best, if not, the best we'd experienced with several different vendors over the years. The key was the fact that they made a concerted effort to clean-up behind themselves as the project progressed. At the job's end, there was not an entire day's accumulation of scrap and other materials to contend with. The number of errant pieces of shingles, nails and bits of metal that I found in the entire area around the house fit in the palm of one of my hands. They did a superb job. This is something I value in a contractor as it demonstrates their respect for the property and their desire to leave it as they found it after professionally completing their work.

Dealing with Jason was great! He showed up when he said he would to provide an estimate even though it was pouring down rain at the time. I was having an issue with a leak so I really appreciated Jason squeezing me in his busy schedule. All the materials were delivered the day before he put the roof on. He showed up first thing in the morning when he said he would be there and completed the job that afternoon, The roof looks great and his crew did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. I highly recommend Jason for any roofing repairs/replacements.

My overall experience with Jason was very good from start to finish. When I called for an estimate, he came the next day. He was very professional and helpful explaining our options. On the day the work was done, they were here early in the morning and completed the job all in one day. Their overall workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Jason and his crew.

Jason was very responsive. He did not push or try to force his product. His workers worked long hours to get the job done. The area was clean every day and the work was as promised. We have a difficult roof with various pitch. I would recommend his company.

Jason had the shingles delivered and placed on the top of the roof the week before. He and his crew showed up just after the dumpster arrived early Monday. They had the project finished by 8:00PM that night. I was impressed by their work effort. Jason stopped by the next day to make sure nothing was missed. The project was completed very well at a price significantly below the 2 other quotes I received

The installation went well. The workers arrived on time, installed the roof, chimney flashing, roof vent, etc. in one day. They were polite cleaned up the area very well. Mr Evans was present for most of the installation. After the installation, I noticed some of the shingles were not lying flat. I reported this to the Mr. Evans and he told me that often happens in cold weather, and that when the sun shone on those tiles for a few weeks, they would seal themselves. My only irritation was that he came by and said he couldn't see the problem at all. Even after I sent a photo of the tiles in question, he didn't acknowledge what I was seeing. He said the tiles would lie flat by January 15, 2015 or he would seal them. They weren't flat on that date, but I gave it a few more weeks and some time in late February the tiles in question laid flat, as predicted. So other than having my credibility on this issue questioned, the whole interaction with Evans Quality Roofing was good, as was the price, which was .$1000+ less than other estimates I got outside of Angie's List.

Evans Roofing does not do metal roofing but he came out to see if there was anything he could do to estimate a repair a for my flashing issue and recommended that I have some one who does do metal roofing come in and look at it. He was quick to come out and look at my roof got back to me quickly and was honest enough to tell me I should seek the help of someone who does metal roofing.

They arrived on time and did a great job. I'm very pleased and would recommend them.

It was excellent! Jason climbed on our roof. Explained a small issue that he believed was causing the leak. He said he could fix it right then and there. We were thrilled. He was at our house for about a total of 30 minutes. When we get a heavy rain storm in spring, we will be able to determine if the fix worked, but we feel confident that he fixed the issue.

Jason did excellent work with bidding on the job and rearranged his schedule to meet the homeowners desire to have the work done before the end of 2014. He showed up on time to provide an estimate and was very quick to follow up on all phone calls and emails -- something I've not experienced with other contractors. The dumpster and shingles were delivered as planned the day before the job was to be done. On 'game day' his crew was here at the appointed time and were very easy to work with - completing the job in just six hours. Then they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, even taking a large magnet around the home to retrieve any nails from the bushes. We were extremely pleased with the whole process and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Although it was very windy, a large crew arrived in AM and started tearing down the roof after covering all the plants. Shingles and nails were flying everywhere in the yard. By the end of the next day I had a complete excellent looking roof with no flows. The yard was completely vacuumed and looked much cleaner than when they started the job. All other requested repairs were done as promised (missing soffit and facia). The thirds day another gutter group arrived for 4 hours and teared down and installed all gutters.Everybody was so professional and independent. Jason is honest and professional and very responsive. He is a true hands on roofer. I highly recommend him. I know that I have a roofer for life. Thanks.

This was a great experience all around. From the estimate, which they hit perfectly, to the communication and the punctuality and responsiveness to our requests. The roof was installed over two days, and when we had a slight cosmetic issue with an area of the flashing, they came right out the day that we contacted them and fixed it right up, no questions. This was a really great experience.

Jason was extremely responsive and patient with all my questions. Pointed out issues on roof that may be causing the leak into the house. Gave me a choice between repairing or replacing the roof. Decided to go with replacing the old roof since it was over 20 years old. His crew arrived as scheduled. They quickly set up and were hard workers. All were courteous and helpful. They were able to finish before the snow and rain that was expected the next day. Great cleanup and looks great. Fantastic job!!

I emailed Mr. Evans to get an estimate for a new roof and gutters. He replied very quickly, came out to look at the roof, and I got a written estimate the next day with all the details of the work to be done. He was very good at answering my questions. I got two other estimates and decided to have Mr. Evans do the work. He let me know when the shingles were to be delivered and when the new roof would go on. He had said that the work would be completed in a day and it was. I was doubtful while they were working on the roof because the wind was so strong that day. Despite the yard being a mess about half way through the job. By the time everything was finished, the yard was totally cleaned up. They went around with a magnet to pick up any stray nails. Having two layers of shingles scraped off before the new roof went on was inherently messy. He was very professional throughout and has a very hard working crew. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof.

We never personally meet, all our communications were through emails. Very honest and punctual.

It was going to be a free inspection and it was going to be either ten percent or $100 off of any repairs that needed to be performed. He didn’t provide any service.

Evans Quality Roofing arrived on time and went right to work. The crew tore off 2 layers of shingles and installed over half of the new roof on the first day. The roof was completed by early afternoon of day two, and the gutters were added a day later. Their work and cleanup was top notch and their price was very reasonable. I would recommend Evans to anyone needing a new roof.
