 + -1 morePaul Funke is the absolute best contractor I have ever had the pleasure of hiring. He is more than a craftsman, he is an artisan. He is customer focused, detail oriented, flexible in his approach and highly competent. I consider the price paid a bargain and look forward to working with Paul in the future, if I can schedule him after this review :)

Description of Work: Spackled paneling on two walls in living room, painted all walls in living room, returned to respacle paneling when cracks appeared. I believe he will return to address any other problems that may occur in the future, if necessary, at no cost.

 + 2 morePaul is a craftsman, no he's a true artist! He enjoys what he is doing and he excels at his profession. Paul is a great problem solver and overcame any obstacles he encountered related to imperfections in our home. He is professional and trustworthy. Paul treated our home with respect.The finished product was better than I could ever have imagined. I have no reservations referring him to any family or friends.
Description of Work: Painted entire master bedroom and bath and installed crown molding in master bedroom and bath. Painted ceilings in kitchen/great room/dining room/foyer repairing all nail pops and painting and touching up all existing crown molding. Installed decorative wood/treatment for 2 windows in great room.

 + -1 moreThis is the contractor you want to hire. Paul is courteous, professional, talented, and genuinely vested in your project. Paul was always available via email or phone to answer all of my questions and concerns. Paul's work is meticulous. He lined up my recessed lighting perfectly. His work is not sloppy nor rushed. Even after the job was done and something needed adjusted, he would do so quickly and attentively. For example, we had a lot of and quot;nail popsand quot; in our drywall, and he would keep fixing them. Paul is very trustworthy, honest, and dedicated. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: - Gut reno'd house including ripping out kitchen, carpeting, bathroom fixtures. - Installed recessed lighting - Installed new kitchen cabinets and appliances - Plumbing of new bathroom and laundry room - Beadboard ceiling - Resurfacing of "popcorn" ceiling - Various "handyman" items, such as fixing hinges on interior doors, nailpops, etc.

 + -1 moreWe hired Paul to paint our new home prior to moving in. We had an extremely tight deadline of trying to move in before the holidays, and Paul went out of his way to accomodate us. His work was top notch, and he was always professional, friendly and very helpful. While we hired Paul primarily for painting, we will no doubt use him going forward for all sorts of projects around the house. Of all the people we worked with seeing our house to completion, Paul was without a doubt the best person to work with. Can't say enough good things, highly recommended.

He kept us advised of his schedule and we never had to wonder will he show up? or won't he show up? We are more than satisfied with his work and will use him again. We recommend him to you without reservation.
Description of Work: Charter Crown was hired to repair an exterior leak and repair the interior damage caused by the leak. In addition he repainted our entire downstairs, our stairway and center hall upstairs and installed crown moulding and window casing throughout the first floor.
