Description of Work: Elden attached a storm door on our patio. His work was good, but he was hard to get hold of. He took a while to respond to our calls and update us on the status of materials. It took him a long time to cash our check.

+ 0 moreThey pulled down a stairway to my attic or crawlspace under my roof. They pretty much showed up when they said they would. They did what they said they were going to do, and did a nice job. I didn't have any problems with them. Their price was probably as good as that of anybody else.
Description of Work: I used Elden E Weaver Building & Remodeling to install a doorway. They had to cut a hole in the wall and actually install a door, and not just replace it.

+ -1 moreHe came out and was very nice and did a good job. I think the price was reasonable. It's been quite a while but I remember being happy with it. The roof is still there; so the quality is good. As a matter of fact, I'm going to call him back because a couple of shingles fell off; so I'd like to use him again. It took a little longer than I liked but I think it was the rain and it wasn't anything that he could handle; so it wasn't his fault. He was in and out in no time and was very professional.
Description of Work: We used Elden E Weaver Building and Remodeling for roofing probably a year and a half ago. Something had fallen off the roof and he put a ridge cap on.

+ 0 moreSince he replaced the doors only and not the complete frames, Elden had to do a lot of trimming and sanding to make the doors fit into the old frames. He kept at it until they fit correctly. He also ran into problems with fitting our new lock sets, but once again, he worked at it until they fit properly. We really appreciated his persistence in giving us a good job. He did a great job with the aluminum trim around the door frames. We had someone else install aluminum trim on our windows several years ago and Elden did a much better job. He puts a bend in the middle of the trim that makes it look a lot more decorative than just an aluminum box around the frame. He does a very neat caulk job as well. Finally, he does a good job of clean-up. We would definitely have Elden come back and do more work for us.
Description of Work: He replaced our front door and garage access door. We had him replace only the doors, not the entire door frames. He also covered the two door frames with aluminum trim.

+ 0 moreEverything that has been done from beginning to end has been excellent craftsmanship. I plan to use them when replacing our room and Elden said he would be able to install skylights for us.
Description of Work: Elden and his son remodeled our kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. We wanted everything contemporary style and incorporated Ikea products. They did such a beautiful job, including putting all the Ikea cabinets together, knocking down existing wall in our kitchen and all the electric work. For our bathrooms, they are so beautifully done and everything is immaculate. Our bathrooms were very dated, and everything was torn down. We wanted a "wet room" look for our masterbath to replace a jacuzzi that no one ever uses. We ended up firing our tile person because he did not do a good job. Elden and his son did all the tiling for us. Our renovation looks like something out of a magazine and best of all, they gave us very good price. They are honest and hard working individuals and I know I could rely on them for everything.

The others that we had checked out were priced much higher and were not using products as good as the ones that Elden had recommended. Our experience with him has been excellent.

+ 1 moreThey were very professional, punctual, and delivered quality work. The walkway was installed with expansion joints and Mr. Weaver recommended a broom finish to provide some safety with a textured surface. We appreciated his attention to detail and his consideration that with my mother being up in years that we would want the safest walkway possible especially for the upcoming winter months. Because the walkway was poured in fairly cold weather, they brought in some intense heat lamps to set the concrete. The walkway has been great.
Description of Work: Mr. Weaver and his son gave us an estimate for replacing 4 exterior doors and pouring a new walkway at my mother's home. They ordered the doors for us, installed them and poured the walkway before the winter set in.

+ 0 moreProject went very well. Elden and his son did all of the work, no subcontractors involved with the exception of the garage door/opener. They did a great job, are easy to talk to and take pride in their work. One thing I really like is they clean up each night. Elden had to cut some drywall in the finished part of my basement to run electric and you couldn't even tell he was there. I would highly recommend Elden for any building and remodeling work and will definitely use him again for any other projects.
Description of Work: We contracted Elden to demo our existing 1 car garage and rebuild to a larger size with a peaked roof.

+ 1 moreMy porch and walkways were built exactly to my specifications. The work was of excellent quality, and he offered alternatives when my ideas were not always the best way to go. He and his son showed up on time every morning, worked quickly, and completed the job sooner than I expected. My neighbor told me the only time they stopped working during the day was for a brief lunch. He does all kinds of carpentry, wiring, plumbing, painting -- you name it, he seems to be able to do it!
Description of Work: Built a 12- x 16-foot screened-in porch, and replaced two concrete walkways with flagstone.

+ 0 moreExcellent. My only regret was that because we had a new house, we had only small jobs for Mr. Weaver. He is capable of much more complicated jobs, yet did everything we asked of him. What impressed me most was that for several items I wanted done, he suggested cheaper, yet ultimately superior alternatives. Most important, we trusted him. I didn't have to babysit like I've had to do with numerous other service providers. He does high quality work at a fair price, and is trustworthy. Can't ask for more from a vendor.
Description of Work: Installed storm doors and did minor repair work. Changed small aspects of the house that we did not like.
