Each month the quality of the cleaning went downhill. The owner was very polite and apologetic and tried to make things right. Her workers just work too fast and attention to detail was not there. I think the owner just schedules too many homes to clean in a day and doesn't have enough staff.

The service provided by Above and Beyond is exceptional. They are friendly, punctual and professional. The job is done well and then reviewed once completed to make sure they did not miss any details. I felt like the service was a good value for the cost. I have used other cleaning services in the past and have been disappointed, it is clear why Above and Beyond has been in business for more than 10 years. I highly recommend them!

The ladies arrived ready to get to work. I had just closed on this home that morning and needed some extra help with cleaning to save me time. The kitchen really need a once over, cabinets, fridge, countertops. The bathroom was pretty clean aside from wiping down the inside of vanity drawers and walls. It took her an hour to do this and it was still dirty! Elaine was in the kitchen and it appeared she was really doing a great job. The next day, I found grease and dirt in places I saw her cleaning! Elaine appeared overworked and booked by the Angies list deal she had on line. I only paid $94 so I guess I got what I paid for! They're cleaning is not up to my standards.

Unfortunately, there were continual problems with an invoice that was supposed to be mailed to us before cleaning. As a result, it was unclear what we needed to pay each week. At this point, we still are trying to figure out what we owe them to settle up the account. Also, the cleaning was not up to the level that we were used to with our prior cleaning service (who moved from the area). Elaine, the owner, was very courteous and stood by her work volunteering to come back out and redo the areas with which we were dissatisfied. However, it would have been an inconvenience with our busy family. We wish them luck with their business but cannot recommend their services to others at this time.

Excellent. I have been very pleased with the work Elaine and her girls do. They are extraordinary in their detail and work ethics. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Lititz area.

I was very pleased with the services provided. I had 2 cleaners for about 5 hours each. This was in a house I was moving into and really needed help. The two workers started right away and worked very hard the entire time. I was thrilled with how clean the rooms were. I'd definitely use this service again.

Everything was outstanding - quality of work reliability and service. Elaine is dedicated to her work and is a joy to work with. I will certainly use her services again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thorough job with a totally trustworthy person

Elaine called the morning that she was scheduled to come clean saying that she was available to come earlier if needed. As soon as I signed the settlement papers I met her at the house. The previous owners had already cleaned the house but we'd wanted a good thorough clean on top of that. She advertised "deep cleaning" and her reviews had lots of comments about "attention to detail" so I figured this was perfect. She walked through the house with me as I pointed out things that were a must; grime from the inside of the washer and fridge, undersides of the countertops, vacuum and sweep the carpets & tiles even though they'd already been (the tracks were still on the floor from the previous owners' cleaning); scrubbing of the bathrooms; dusting of the window sills. We noticed that the windows in my livingroom were dirty but she said she didn't do windows. She seemed helpful and friendly and we talked about work ethic. She kept saying "I'll be sure to get that, I'll make it a point to do that." When I left she was starting to get stuff out of her van. She said it would take about 4 hours to get everything done. I left her to it while we went to pack up our apartment and get ready to move in. When we came back in a few hours no one was there but they left 2 full bags of garbage in the garage for us to throw away which I hadn't expected. Walking through the house I was very dissatisfied with what i saw. There was dirt on the tile floors that hadn't been there when we'd left. There were spots on the bathroom floors that I easily scraped up with my fingernail. There was still the previous owners' grime and crumbs under the countertop and oven ledges. There was a checklist on the back of the invoice that was left on the counter. I hadn't had a chance to call Elaine about the job until a couple weeks later. When I did we went over the checklist together. It wasn't until then that she told me she didn't do any of the cleaning but instead two of her employees had done (or not done) it. I hadn't realized that Elaine herself wasn't going to be the one doing the cleaning because of the things she'd said SHE was going to do when we were walking through the house. She apologized that I was unhappy and said she'd wished i'd called her right away because she would've come out to fix it. Instead she took an extra 10% off the price. Overall I was unhappy because I still had to re-clean a lot. I also wish I had known up front who was going to be doing the job. Her prices are cheap but you get what you pay for. I have not used her since.

I should have known what to expect when she answered the phone "hello" instead of by the business name. We scheduled for the following monday and I have not heard a thing since. I stayed home for the appointment.Very Poor Service!!!

She particularly did a great job on the refrigerator as well.

I recently moved into a house that was left in an extremely filthy condition by its previous tenants. I'm up in years and can't do as much as I used to be able to do but I took my time and got a lot of cleaning done. There was one particular room - the laundry room - that one could only say was embarrassing. How any one could have left it in that shape is beyond me. The washer and dryer both decided to die on the same day. I had to purchase new ones but couldn't possibly put them in that room in the condition it was in. I had the old washer and dryer taken out and put the newly purchased ones on hold as far as delivery was concerned until I could have something done about the condition of the room. I really thought I'd have to put in a new floor. The old one was covered with scum and was absolutely filthy. I called Elaine Pogue of Above and Beyond and arranged a time for her to come and take a look at things and give me an estimate (free by the way). She was right on time. I hesitantly took her to the laundry room thinking she's probably laugh and tell me to look elsewhere for someone to tackle that mess. As I said before, it was actually embarrassing having to show anyone that room. Elaine was very professional but she is also one of those people you feel you've know for ears. Know what I mean? She told me the room wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was and that they'd take care of everything. We scheduled a time for what I thought would have to be a failed attempt at salvaging the room. Again, Elaine and her crew arrived at the given time and went to work. I ran a few errands after they got started so I returned later as they were finishing up. Honestly, I couldn't believe my eyes. The room was immaculate. We could have had a picnic lunch on the floor and I'm happy to say I didn't need a new one. I had the new washer and dryer delivered and now I'm proud to say I have a beautiful, clean, fresh-smelling laundry room thanks to Elaine and company. I've since booked them on a regular basis to take care of the rest of my house. The only thing I'd change is the name of the company. I'd change it from "Above & Beyond" to "WELL Above & and Beyond. "

The owner was very helpful and responsive. The quality of the cleaning was somewhat variable depending upon which individuals cleaned our home.

Because the company I was expecting has a lot of allergies, I decided to have a thorough professional cleaning done. Elaine and her crew did such a wonderful job, I decided to hire them monthly. They are always professional and the house smells great. And Elaine responds promptly if I leave her a note and ask her to call me. I am very pleased with this service. For the work they do, the price is very reasonable.

Elaine and her crew do an excellent job. She is prompt, professional, and the house is spotless when she leaves. Her workers are friendly. She makes sure that everything is complete and tidy before she leaves. I would highly recommend Above and Beyond Cleaning!

On going house cleaning every other week. Started April on this year 2012

Me and my wife bought our first new home in Leola PA and we closed on the house on 7/27. In the next week we had some work done on the house including painting and taking down a wall. After all that was complete, we asked Above & Beyond to clean the house before our move in date of 8/6. I read all the reviews on Angies list and decided to go with them. Elaine was very professional and polite as I asked her about the services she would be performning. My wife is 20 weeks pregnant, so it was very important for us to have the house fully cleaned before we moved in, since she wouldn't be able to use a lot of the cleaning supplies. When we moved in, I have to be honest and say we were pretty dissapointed with the job that Above & Beyond did. Of all the appliances, only the refridgerator was cleaned. The oven, microwave and other appliances weren't even touched. I could chalk this up to miscommunication, but "Top to Bottom cleaning" would suggest to me that all appliances would be cleaned. My wife is a very tough grader because she loves to clean, but even for myself, this was just not a good job. We had to get out our cleaning supplies while we were moving in to do a lot of the cleaning that Above & Beyond didn't do. Additionally, our baby's room was just painted and we explained that to Elaine. It looked like whoever did the carpet cleaning must have banged into the wall with the machine and put a hole in the wall that we had to repatch up. On one positive note, after we received the final bill of $430 from the cleaners, I called them and mentioned to them our dissapointment, and they did let us take $100 off the price because of these issues. But for the most part, we were very dissapointed with our experience and there is a 0% chance we will use this company again.

Elaine's first cleaning was back in May of 2012. She and her workers did a good job with a few minor issues. She told me she was unable to clean the bottom of the shower stall and said that was the best that could be done. I left this go as this was the first time we had a cleaning service for our house. At that time I would have given them a B+.The second time they cleaned and seemed in a hurry. They missed a few spots that had been cleaned in the prior cleaning. I would have given them a C grade.The third cleaning was a disaster! We were expecting our sister-in-law from Texas so we mentioned this to Elaine. She also said that she used an outside contractor for windows. We requested that the windows be cleaned in addition to the general cleaning. Per her check list "Remove all items from tables and furniture dust, polish and replace." Items sitting on top of most areas that were on her list to be cleaned were never moved. Over all we would give the house cleaning a D. As for the window cleaning done by Elaine, not a contractor would rate a F. When my wife came home she was extremely upset and was crying.My wife called Elaine about the service provided and presented a number of issues to Elaine.1) The window cleaning was horrendous. At the time of cleaning Elaine said that she was unable to clean them so she gave us a discount but we still paid +/-$130 for the horrible job. My wife spent a whole day cleaning the "cleaned" windows. She had no choice as they had to be cleaned.2) As for the shower stall my wife spent about 45 minutes scrubbing and was able to remove 95% of the dirty floor stain that Elaine had said was unclean-able.3) When asked about the poor cleaning on this third visit Elaine explained that her cleaning crew was new and since she was busy with the windows, Elaine was not able to oversee the cleaning they had performed. 4) My wife had to re-sweep the floors as there were lint balls on all of the carpeting. 5) As a side note, I was showing the entrance of our finished basement to one of the cleaners and Elaine said: "Oh your wife told me that the basement was to be cleaned every other cleaning." Two problems present themselves at this point. First, Elaine has NEVER met my wife nor spoken to her. I was the only person to ever speak to Elaine. Second, if it was every other time, as claimed, it was due. Needless to say we had lost all faith in their services. Elaine offered a free cleaning, to which we said we would consider this. Elaine called a few days later to see if we would accept her offer. I said I would speak to my wife when she got home. We never returned her call. She was originally to return 7/30/2012 but we did say we would have to consider her offer. Since I last spoke to Elaine we have not had any contact to resolve the issues.

It was not cleaned to my satisfaction. I saw dirt where there shouldn't have. I should not have to tell a cleaning company what needs to be cleaned or how to clean it.

Elaine is very professional and is passionate about how her company is perceived. We have had them out twice and both times the ladies were on time and we had the same "lead" person both times. The first time they arrived I walked them through the home and gave them my "aboslutely must be done" and my "not necessarily have to be done" instructions, which I had already gone over with Elaine at our initial meeting. They second time they came in - they knew exactly what to do without any additional instruction from me. We expect to have them return on a monthly basis.

Elaine arrived right on time and introduced herself. She brought all her own supplies.I found Elaine on Angie's list, and after reading a bunch of stellar reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I have never used a cleaning service before and I was very pleasantly surprised with "Above and Beyond Cleaning". Elaine performed a deep cleaning of my home, she cleaned from top to bottom. I had to leave for work, but when I arrived home and saw how clean my house was, I was very happy!! I would highly recommend Elaine for her top notch service and very reasonable pricing. Plus, she was very friendly, which makes for a great experience :)

They were very attentive to all needs, timely, reasonable and friendly. They were very good. I will absolutely use this company again in the future.

This was a first cleaning, hence the higher price. Future cleanings will cost less. I recommend them whole heartedly.
