Very well. The job took around 3 hours. The fumes were vented outside with a fan, but they still were very strong, and lasted for about 4 days (with windows open -- the work was done in October). I would recommend doing the job only during warm weather, to allow continuous ventilation. The resulting finish looked good, but there were a few blemishes. Bob came back today and sanded them out, and the tub looks basically like new. He and his helper were very friendly and Bob is prompt to respond to contacts.

He saved is $1,500 by resurfacing the bottom of our cracked & chipped fireclay sink. A very nice job. Bob has done 3 or 4 bathtubs in a apartment building for me. Great work, Some are over 4 years old and still look good.

Bob did a great job !! He was punctual, professional and the tub looks like new again. Bob is extremely good at what he does and he is booked about 2 weeks in advance. His price was competitive and you get what you pay for. Do not try this yourself. Get it done by the professionals at Standard Resurfacing with the right materials and it will last for over a decade.

Remodeled a bathroom in a 50 year old house. It was the first remodel for this bathroom and it still had a 1960s color scheme. Tub was an aqua-blue and the surrounding tiles were gray-aqua with aqua trim. The two chrome soap dishes were broken and corroded. Contemplated whether to replace the tub and tile or have them reglazed. Obtained three estimates from reglazing businesses and found Standard Resurfacing from Oxford, PA to be the most reasonable. Bob was prompt in showing up for the estimate and came on the day promised to start work. Both him and his assistant were polite and careful not to damage anything. I had gutted the bathroom before they came, so they did not have to worry about overspray. However, they were careful to mask everything. First day Bob and another worker made repairs to the grout and installed two ceramic soap dishes. One for the shower and a lower one for the tub. Next they cleaned the tiles and tub with some kind of solution. Lastly, they sprayed a gray base coat over the tiles and tub, which serves as an etching or undercoater. Following day they sprayed a white gazing/epoxy coat over the tiles and tub. When they were done, everything was cleaned up nicely. Tiles and tub now had a a nice smooth white finish Two days later I noticed two small spots on the corner of a couple tiles, where the old aqua color came through. After I contacted Bob, he came back within a couple of days and touched them up. Could not find those spots anymore. I have been apprehensive about reglazing. My fear was that it would come off. Bob did warn us not to use abrasive cleaners or bath mats with suction cups, which we have done. It is now 10 months later and it has held up beautifully. Very pleased with the workmanship and the results. I would certainly us them again.
