Entoguard

Entogard, Lewisburg, PA was called to deal with a lawn/underground infestation of voles. We had called them because they provided service to us in March 2011 for another infestation, suspected to be chipmunks, and their treatment was excellent: prompt response, courteous treatment, thorough explanation of the procedure from beginning to end. We are satisfied that Entogard, Lewisburg had dealt with the problem very satisfactorily. This year's experience was somewhat less satisfactory--at first, receptionist insisted on upfront payment of 50% in advance, even though we were repeat business and had paid in full on the spot when treatment was completed. The technician they sent out at first did not administer the treatment (toxic tracking powder in the holes) correctly, merely shaking it in random amounts out of a paper cup instead of using a spoon. He began the job, joking that he had forgotten his gloves, and scattered the powder without them. I thought it necessary to request that he clean his hands before writing out our statement, and can only assume that he did. This representative did not explain, for instance, what results we could expect, how soon, and apparently missed several holes. Upon our complaint, Entogard, Lewisburg sent out a more professional technician, who checked the work, and added powder where deemed necessary. Seemed more courteous, better informed, and much more interested in customer satisfaction. We think that we will have to wait about 30-60 days to determine whether the protocol described will be effective. We have scheduled a follow-up within 30 days. I think, therefore, that the effectiveness of the service can be determined (as to whether it worked or not, and the sequel) only after another 30 days .I should point out that when I initially contacted Angie's list, by entering my zip code 17837, Angie's sent me to the Williamsport list, where the zip code is 17701. That city is 25 miles away. We actually live closer to zip code 17801, which is Sunbury, which is only 12 miles from here. Our street address is 960 Fairground Rd., Lewisburg, PA 17837. I live in the woods and they treat the outside of the house so the bugs don't come inside. I really like that they are flexible with their scheduling. They arrive when they say they are going to be here. I plan to use them in the future.
