This company did work for me parents. They charged my parents for materials that were not even used. Saying it was their fault they bought them. HITMAN did not find out what product they already had and just bought materials with no idea what exactly needed. HITMAN installed a railing down steps that was too high…. Saying that there has to be two railings going down a flight of steps….. HITMAN I believe did some bad work. Bad communication skills and show up for work whenever they want.

This was the biggest and most expensive mistake I've ever made in my life. After the new $350 vanity was installed, I noticed a small chunk missing out of the side of it and said something to one of the two guys working on my project. All he said was, "oh yeah." Not "we'll fix it," "I'm so sorry," NOTHING. Next thing I saw when they left for the day was that a blob of gooey silicone caulking had been shoved into the missing chunk. That stuff doesn't dry and I had a tough time wiping off as much as I could. After the shower was installed, I noticed each of the two seams where the side panels connected with the back wall of the shower were uneven. When I mentioned this to the owner of the company, all he said was, "Oh, that happens and won't hurt anything. No water can get in there." It's very noticeable and clearly wasn't right. I also painted the area around the shower and toilet in advance solely for the ease of reaching those areas before they were installed. A few weekends later (11/9/20), I finished painting the remainder of the bathroom, including around the doorway and top of the vanity. At this point, when I was finished with that, I noticed that for half an inch above the vanity top and several places around the top of the shower, the paint hadn't dried, it just coagulated in spots. It turns out that the silicone caulking they used was NOT PAINTABLE!!! What contractor worth his salt does that??! I've done projects around my house over the years and I even know that you always use paintable caulking in a bath or kitchen! When I told the owner about that, all he said was, "Use your finger to 'roll' what you can off the wall." WHAT???! Now what am I supposed to do as far as painting these areas?? I had to ask the owner to please have his guys even caulk around the top of the shower and across the top of the piece of quarter round in front of the shower at the floor level. They came back to do that, but when they left, they STILL never caulked the floor piece or filled in a hole in the caulking where the baseboard met the side of the shower near the floor - water can get in there. When I spoke with the owner AGAIN, he said he would have them come back again to do that. I told him I'll do it myself - at least I know it will be done right this time. I paid this guy over $4,600 for this project and all I'm left with is caulking to finish and to figure out how to get the silicone caulking off my walls. I'm not happy with the marble vanity top I chose and plan to replace it - I was going to have this company come back to do that for me, but after this fiasco, I don't even want them in my house ever again. As excited as I was to have Hitman Construction do this work for me, now all I can say to anyone considering hiring them is keep looking for a company who actually cares about the work they do, and knows enough to use the right products. Please beware and don't make the same expensive, time consuming mistake I did!!

The quote included new cement, posts and a roof. We have put the project on hold for now but will most likely use them when we decided to do the work. I was impressed with everything the gentleman had to say. They were a little expensive, but I think they would be worth it.

First, their price was the cheapest by far. I shopped 3 different contractors and Hitman came in the cheapest. The quality of the work was solid, no issues at all. They worked on a Sunday, which I was extremely impressed with. They followed up on the work twice after they were complete. I was completely satisfied with the overall experience.

Have used this company for many years. They have done many projects for us including replacement of a sky light, floor installations, window and door frame repairs to name a few. Have always been pleased with responsiveness of owner, work completed, price, and they always show up when scheduled. Was able to schedule the date I wanted oven installed Came on date scheduled Work completed was beyond expectations (We thought our deck needed replaced. Boards were splintering and had discoloration. They are very good and honest and failry inexpensive. They are very thourough and they are very professional.

They showed up when they said they would and even though it took a little longer than expected, they did a very thorough job.

I like their punctuality. They give me suggestions. Everything that they came out with did make the project better. They were polite. Nick, the owner, answers all my concerns. If he is not in the sight, he will check his workers. If he is unhappy with their work, he will tell the workers what to be redone or fix. He is a hands on manager.

Overall it went well. Some schedule hiccups but communication was excellent.

I had him install trim work around the front door of my home. I had to call him back 2 or 3 different times to retrim the door because I was still getting cold air coming through it. I did ask him to fix my running toilet, which he never got around to for the price that I paid him. I asked him about waterproofing the basement and he came up with the crazy plan to drill holes in the cement wall to let the water drain out. He was then going to put a french drain around the whole basement. I only have 1 bad wall, and everyone else that I talked to says that you don't drill through cement. He was going to charge me about $4,000.00 for that project and so I decided not to use him.

He does work for me all the time and he is adaptable and flexible. When we have emergency, leaks etc he is the person that can get me help. He has done remodeling in a variety of areas. If he is something that I am not happy with he comes right back and makes it right for me. His prices are extremely reasonable What makes me very happy is that I can work with him. I will continue to use his services in the future.
