Comfort Zone had already received favorable reviews on Angie's List and other local review web sites. The company owner contacted me after I had already invited several HVAC to provide a quote. I had overlooked them because I thought I had enough companies to request a quote. After confirming good reviews, one thing I liked about them is they offer Bryant furnaces and air conditioners. Our previous Bryant furnace and AC was installed when the house was new and lasted 27 years! However, the old AC started leaking and because it used the discontinued R-22 gas, recharges from depleting stocks were very expensive, could not legally be recharged, and bad for the environment. The furnace was still operating fine, but we decided getting a new furnace compatible with AC was a wise move. One installation instead of two. At all steps, Comfort Zone replied rapidly to any of my texts, phone calls, or emails, often within the same day, but no more than the next business day. That bodes well for any needed future service calls. As soon as I accepted their quote, they scheduled installation for the following Monday. Other companies told me it would be at least 3 weeks or longer, which might have taken us into very hot weather with no AC. Two installers arrived on schedule Monday and by the end of the day they had the old furnace and AC units removed and the new Bryant furnace and AC installed and operational. The price came in under what we had expected. New HVAC central air systems are not cheap, but we did not want to sacrifice quality and reliability if we expect a system to last for at least 20 years. Other companies were quoting HVAC brands that had terrible reviews. With tariffs, prices are being driven up, we had already paid $300 more for a new hot water heater, the price increase directly attributed to tariffs on parts and materials that American manufacturers can only obtain overseas. But Comfort Zone provided an upgrade in furnace models and we added a winter humidifier for an additional $650. The responsiveness, professionalism, customer orientation, polite installers who kept the room very clean, quality system, and price as expected makes Comfort Zone highly recommended for heating and cooling needs. I'd rather keep the exact price private, but, as I stated, it was about $2,000 under quotes from other companies.

We were out of town and they did a flawless job. I met the owner once, I sensed a quality individual, and trusted him with keys to the house and him delivered an expert job. You cannot tell it was retro fitted.

On the last visit the technician was out the next day by surprise. I was expecting a longer wait because a heat wave was coming but they made time for me. They also installed my system a few summers ago and made sure it was completely installed by the end of the day. They do a great job and are reasonably priced. I will always go with Comfort Zone for all my HVAC needs.

It went well. No hassels. I made one phone call. They responded with a date they would stop by and review our unit. Comfort Zone then responded promptly with a quote. The quote was competative and complete. We accepted the quote and they scheduled the work and completed it within a couple of days of our approval. No hassles, no issues. All was cleaned up well and complete.

Our heat just went out in the middle of winter. I put in a service call and they were able to come out the same day. They had the parts that I needed and had our heat back on quickly. About two years ago in July our air suddenly stopped. It was determined our unit needed to be replaced. They had done the research on our unit and it was still under the manufacturer's warranty. We ended up getting our unit replaced and paid them for their service hours. Every time we have called, they have always been able to help us right away and at a good price. They employees they have our very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

They're excellent. Very cautious of that they do, they're clean, and remove products when they're done. I've signed a yearly contract with them to come out and check to make sure everything is functioning as it should. I have absolutely the most positive things to say about them.

I was a customer for over a decade. There are definitely better HVAC companies to select, and the slight price advantage Comfort Zone offers is not worth it. I had a few issues with repairs over the years and was especially concerned with the company after the install of my furnace 5+ years ago when UGI came for a routine inspection and red tagged the new furnace for a safety issue of not having an external shut off valve. I called about the issue, and it was promptly fixed. So, I let it go as an oversight. However, last season when I had an issue with a thermo couple unit going bad, an inexperienced tech sheered off the part, taking my $25 repair to a several hundred dollar one to replace a valve. I called in another HVAC company who confirmed the botched repair attempt. I discussed with CZ owner, Aaron, and he said the tech just could not get the part off but offered no apology or compensation for his tech's lack of experience. A new thermo couple unit was also added by CZ at the same time as the valve replacement, and the thermo couple went bad a couple of weeks later. This time, I insisted an experienced tech be sent, who knew how to install the thermo couple unit. Ironically, the inexperienced tech also came to watch the thermo couple install. Several days later, I was billed for the replacement of the thermo couple unit. When I called to ask why the part would not be under warranty, I was told to forget about the bill. I forgot about the bill until I received a 2nd one a couple of weeks later. I again called and was told to ignore the bill. Fortunately, I had no additional issues for the rest of the heating season and my service contract and can now switch to someone I trust.
Description of Work: Hot water heater that was part of radiant heating system needed a new thermo couple unit.

Why am I writing this one year later? The installation was fine and the unit ran fine in the winter. The problem started in the summer when we turned on the air conditioning. There was a crack in one of the pipes and about 2 feet of our bedroom drywall was effected. Things happen, so we were concerned but thought it would get fixed. The installer wanted to fix it himself so that he did not have to place it into his insurance. At first we agreed but he did not do a good job on the drywall and we ended up getting a dry waller to fix the ceiling. The company did end up turning it into their insurance and it was paid for. The install was good and the product is good.
Description of Work: Installed a Trane 2 stage heat pump system. The variable speed air handler is located in the attic connected to a R-4.2 fiberglass duct system with flexible branch duct. The system comes with a 10 year warranty. We had an older and house and there were no ducts. I twas a big job.

Comfortz Zone gave us the lowest esitmate out of three local companies. I was in constant communication with Aaron who provided prompt responses to all my questions and concerns. We had duct work and a heat pump installed. The workmen cleaned up an any mess that was made. Though the installation took longer than expected, Aaron knew we weren't in any hurry.

Technicians were on time and spent more than 8 hours in our house to remove the old and installed the new system. They didn't make any mess or noise during those hours. We are happy with their services. Also, we have been communicated with the owner Aaron since the first quote. He didn't push us into the contract. He is really easy to work with.

We converted from oil heat to natural gas. In addition we had a propane tank for our stove and they converted our stove from propane to natural gas. We are more than satisfied with quality of work and professional manner we enjoyed. Our deposit check was NOT deposited until the work had been completed. Even though we would not have been concerned if our deposit check had been cashed prior to work being completed, this action on behalf of Comfort Zone, to us this is a sign of integerity. My husband said the service men spent over 3 hours converting our stove (commercial stove) to natural gas and they tested and tested again to make sure all the components worked properly.

Out of five quotes, they were the best. I pay $140 a year and they come out and maintenance our unit. They are wonderful and always complete the job perfectly. The company I used previously did not clean the furnace, but Comfort Zone does a great job. They even call us to let us know when its time for our check up. They clean up after themselves and leave no mess. If I ever had a issue with my unit, they are very responsive and come out immediately.

Air conditioning was not working. The first visit they changed the filter and told me that should fix the problem. It did not and I called them to come out to fix the problem right. On his return, which was very prompt, he found that the system was low on refrigerant. After he left the air conditioning was working. However, after several days it quit again. At this point I called another company who found that there was a leak in the system. They repaired the leak and added more refrigerant and the air conditioning is working great now.

They were great. Their price was fair. They were very responsive. It was sort of like a family company. I was very happy with them. In fact, they were able to access what was the problem with my son's phone even before they came out. They were immediately able to tell what the problem was with my dad's house. I would highly recommend them. I was very satisfied with their service. Their price was excellent. I was very happy with them. I would use them in the future.
