TO THE COMPLAINT ON 10/18/20 - MIKE DISBROW DID THE SAME THING TO ME. BE VERY VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN DECIDING TO HIRE DISBROW BUILDERS PAID FOR EVERYTHING IN FULL AND UP FRONT THEY STARTED MY SIDING BUT NEVER COMPLETED. NEVER PUT IN MY EIGHT WINDOWS, SHUTTERS, RAIN PIPES, RANGE HOOD OR MY FENCE WHICH HE TOOK MY CHECK FOR $4740.00 FOR THE FENCE. I KEPT GETTING EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE. MY MATERIAL WAS IN HIS SHED AND HE WOULD FINISH MY JOBS. I SPENT A YEAR BEGGING MIKE TO FINISH MY SIDING. NEVER DID. CONTACTED MIKE DISBROW THROUGH TEXTS NUMEROUS TIMES ALWAYS PROMISED HE WAS COMIING BUT IT WAS ALWAYS A NO SHOW NEVER ANSWERS HIS CELL PHONE. WENT TO HAMILTON TWP POLICE TO SEE IF I COULD FILE CHARGES. THEN MIKE CALLED ME PROMISING HE WOULD FINISH MY WORK. GUESS WHAT NEVER DID MIKE DISBROW TAKES YOUR MONEY BUT DOESNT FINISH THE JOBS. BE CAREFUL .I LEARNED THE HARD WAY. I LOST ALL MY MONEY FOR THE JOBS NOT COMPLETECD AND DISBROW BUILDERS GOT AWAY WITH IT. I HIRED ARKA CONTRACTING TO FINISH THE JOBS THAT DISBROW BUILDERS DID NOT COMPLETE. PLUS I HAD TO REPAY FOR EVERYTHING AGAIN TO GET COMPLETED. YOU NEED A CONFIDENT CONTRACTOR LOOK FOR ARKA CONTRATING IN HAMITON TWP NJ THEY DO FABULOUS WORK WITH A 5 STAR RATING. THEY COMPLETED ALL MY JOBS WITHIN 1`-1/2 WEEKS WHERE DISBROW BUILDERS TOOK OVER A YEAR AND NEVER COMPLETEDS ANYTHING PLUS DISBROW BUILDERS WORKMANSHIP IS FLAWED. PLEASE PLEAE BE CAREFUL WITH DISBROW BUILDERS

Contracted to have siding, roof and windows replaced. Additional work was also added in beginning listed on contract. Was told this job would be the 100% focus of him and his helpers when presented with our contract to sign. Stated that he scheduled jobs by signed contract date. We signed July 2019. Was told we would have him and full crew. Was told he was getting ready to sign a big job in Blackwood New Jersey. So we signed to get on schedule ahead of this job. Shortly after our project began he began taking on more jobs and leaving helpers to do our job. These unskilled laborers installed a lot of our siding and soffit. Approximately 15 out of 20 windows still have not been provided. Windows installed are not completed. Newly installed roof has had 5 leaks. Repairs are not 100% complete for leaks. Siding needs repairs. It is loose and falling off. Attic vents were never installed just covered. Capping and gutters are not completed. One add on that was added at time of contract was a porch that still needs to be completed so it can pass final inspection. Paid for transfer switch to run home on generator. Stated through verbal and text would install free of charge due to delayed start at beginning of job. Still has not provided actual switch or installed. Has provided 2 pieces to go along with it but not actual switch. Windows and Transfer switch have been falsified numerous times. He provided receipt for transfer switch and then when questioned about pickup said he had cancelled and ordered through another supplier but that switch was paid for. Provided an invoice for reimbursement and we paid on something he never actually picked up or paid for. When questioned provided us with pictures of new switch. After numerous texts finally admitted he never actually ordered or paid. In regards to windows has provided screen shots to show that there was an order. After we looked more closely at the documents we realized one was from a job from seven years 10/18/13 and had nothing to do with our job. There are numerous texts stating they had been ordered and paid multiple times (not true). Originally told us window order was paid in full. Over time the story changed and he said half the balance was paid. As he came up with reasons he could not pay remaining balance we called the supplier on the original order to see if we could pay the remaining balance (even though we had already paid in full for the windows) just to get the windows at our home. The supplier looked into it and checked with a salesperson who called him because he could not find order. The supplier called me back and apologized and said he had a feeling he knew what was going on but that when the salesman called Michael, Michael said that the order was through Bill Wahl Supply, however Michael said he looked into it and is saying the order was cancelled for nonpayment. At a later time He then told us he got approved for credit and he placed an order for approximately $2000 worth of windows. We later found out this was not true. He has sent pictures showing himself at the supply house picking up windows. This was not true. Told us he picked some up and was storing them in a family members shed. This was not true. As recent as August 2020 he said he picked up 2 windows (turned out to be false.). Approximately a week later he said he paid cash for 5 windows, he had the receipt, they just needed to be picked up. This was not true. Around Fall of 2019. He had too many jobs going on. It was beginning to become difficult to get any progress made on our project. We were asked along the way if he could take a couple weeks from our job to complete other jobs he was working on. This would allow him to regain his focus and complete the work on our job. First time he did this he agreed to cut our remaining balance of approximately $3000 in half. Then around December he came to us. He had taken on a bigger job. We were still not getting any work out of him. This job was the Blackwood NJ job we signed to get in front of. If we would agree to this further delay he would wipe out the remaining $1500. He even signed a paper stating his estimated return to our job would be the week of January 13th 2020. The understanding we reached was we would be the focus until the job was completed. As far as the status on the windows we have been promised through multiple jobs he has done and multiple checks he has received through income tax, pandemic assistance and other small business assistance he qualified for. We still are waiting. This job was not delayed due to the pandemic, as he was working at other jobs during that time, just not here. We would also like to state we had a cement patio poured in our backyard. We supplied materials and he charged us $500 labor as a discount because of all we had given him in work. There are waves that are very visible when it rains. There is a section that floods so badly birds can bath in it. We sent a 10 day demand letter that expired June 10, 2020. At that point he presented us with a three week schedule of how he could fund the materials and do the work to complete the job within 3 weeks. He didn't follow through with. After that date had come and gone and after several more attempts to get him to complete the job we filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office on 9/7/20. They sent communications to him asking for him to respond on how he intended to complete our project. He provided another schedule which was due to start work again on 10/2/20. This schedule would have our project completed by the first week in November. He has not followed through or completed one project listed on this schedule as of today 10/19/20. We have been told that we should not have given the contractor the majority of money but according to his contract he wrote, the money was due upon request and that if money was not provided in a certain number of days it could cause a work stoppage. He informed us there is no end date when it comes to a home improvements, however we have since been informed that there should be an estimated end date and there are required numbers related to the contractor that are not on our contract.

It didnt got fed up since 2019 with no show no call,they always had an excuse June 13,2020 i fired them do to another no cal. No show GoT fed up with them Paid in advance and in full for all jobs not started Asked for refund several times no response Be careful of this company they took my money around $20,000 and wont return nothing
