+ -1 moreIn a word: fantastic. Long story short, that first cleaning turned into a nearly 5-year relationship of bi-weekly cleanings. Douglas, Brunna and the entire DB team that worked on our house during this time were thorough, honest, considerate, respectful, flexible and just a great pleasure to work with. We are relocating to another state and will be sad to leave them behind. I endorse DB Cleaners with no reservations, and with gratitude and respect.
Description of Work: While my wife was spending a couple weeks admitted to the hospital, we asked DB Cleaning Services to do a deep-dive cleaning of our house so that she would come back to a very clean house that would help us avoid any issues with her suppressed immune system.

+ -1 moreDoug's team does a good job. The only feedback I will give is that sometimes it is inconsistent. But I will say that anytime I have ever had any issue it was resolved quickly. Doug even made it a point to come to my house and meet me which I thought was great. At one point I did have the same crew coming to the house which was good because they learned my space and did a great job. The crews have always been very nice and respectful. I will say that they are very reasonably priced for sure. I do wish that the response time was better from when an initial email is sent. But I also understand that it is a busy company so I give a little room for that. Overall I am a satisfied customer. I would recommend them for sure!

This company is professional, courteous, on time, and do a fantastic job of cleaning my home. They pay close attention to detail. My home always smells clean and looks amazing when they are through. I have met many of the their staff members through the years. They are kind to my children, very respectful to me and are careful with my property. They work efficiently and get the job done right, every time. Lastly, some of my family and friends have needed last minute services. Every time a call has been made to Douglas for a last minute cleaning, with seemingly little effort, he arrives with an army of employees and gets right to work. Again, paying strict attention to detail, like they have been at the location for years. Description of Work: D&B have been cleaning my house since 2005, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and even things like clearing and putting dishes in the dishwasher and making up the beds with clean sheets. Sometimes I hire them for additional things like cleaning the fridge or other odd jobs. When I come home from work after they've been by, it is like walking into a brand new house! They do a spectacular job.

I have never had a cleaning service last more than a year or so in the past as I've found most allow their customer service to degrade after the initial courtship. Not so with Douglas and his team. They have consistently provided excellent customer service and follow-up throughout our multi-year relationship. They crews treat my home and possessions with respect and care, and I can't praise him enough for how genuinely committed Douglas is to ensuring his clients are happy and taken care of. I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone in the market for a cleaning service.

Douglas pulled me in every time there was a question, or when he needed to warn me that some old piece of furniture, or drapery, needed to have an alternate approach. Everything got clean, everything got moved away from the walls, and put back where it was supposed to go. The tops of cabinets were cleaned, the floors and shelves of closets were cleaned. We were so happy with the results, and it will be so much easier to keep up, after this super cleaning.
Description of Work: My elderly father was going to be returning home after 5 weeks in the hospital and rehab. His house was filthy even before he left. We needed to find a professional service to do a top-to-bottom, spic and span cleaning on fairly short notice. Douglas was able to schedule us in, 3 business days out.

Scheduling with less than a week's notice can be a little tricky, but Douglas tries to accommodate such requests as well. It is clear that Douglas' goal is to make the customer happy. We would certainly recommend them and will use them again.

They clean the bathrooms and the kitchen, change the sheets on the beds, vacuum and dust all the rooms and mop the hardwood floors. They even clean the inside of the refrigerator! Douglas is very responsive via text and if I have a special request, they always get it done. I would highly recommend DB Cleaning!

+ -1 moreWhile the 5 cleaners were very thorough, they took much longer than the company director told us, or that they themselves told us when we asked how much longer. The estimate provided was not very clear, the cleaners were late, and we ended up waiting on our porch for over 3 hours for them to finish. The price they asked us for was 10 times the amount of the estimate. This is a scam, and a sad one, because it exposes the cleaners to homeowner's frustration, with no clear rules. We expected no more than 4 hours for the our big house to be cleaned for our son's graduation party. 7 hours is too long, and when my husband asked at each turn how much longer, we were given extremely inaccurate estimates. The check we wrote was not for the scandalous amount the company owner insisted on when we spoke to him over the phone (again, almost 10 times what the estimate was). I would never ever have called this company - we have used other cleaning companies before and we know what is reasonable for this house. And then to be told by the company director that we have a difficult house? They threw the check back at us and we are at a standoff. I'm sure they will sue - I know I intend to.

+ -1 moreDB Cleaners well run by Douglas has provided our thorough house cleaning each week for a couple of years. The team is made up of the same people each week unless there is an illness. They are wonderfully trained: furniture is moved so the floor/carpet underneath is cleaned--amazing--previous companies/crews only cleaned around the furniture. Lattice work/fenestrations/cross-pieces on furniture are dusted--we used to find weeks of dust piled up in these areas with other providers. Venetian/mini-blinds are cleaned weekly--never skipped over. Baseboards and artwork are dusted. The crew takes initiative and cleans things that aren't routine if they find dirt--silver ware drawer, refrigerator shelves, kitchen exhaust fan grease trap--a fire in that ductwork is a disaster. They bring their own cleaning products--organic. Douglas is particularly knowlegeable about construction materials and how to best clean them safely--granite, slate, flooring, etc. No one else has ever removed the ashes from the fireplace--much appreciated. Their web site lists so much more information. This is a professional, well-run business. Douglas is attentive and always checking. Riegel/Gillespie

They do an excellent job every time and the few times some small thing isn't up to par, I've been very comfortable telling the owner, Douglas, about it. He's responsive, polite and always takes steps to ensure it doesn't happen again. Speaking of Douglas, he's a pleasure to interact with and is very flexible if I need to change our usual schedule. DB Cleaning's pricing is extremely reasonable, too. I am so happy I found them.

Customer service is great, and the team even finds a way to do little unexpected "extras" once in a while like sweeping the garage floor or cleaning the laundry room! The initial "deep" cleaning was also very impressive - they pulled out furniture and appliances and cleaned places I would never even have thought to clean. The people on the cleaning team are friendly and professional, and always very flexible with scheduling requests. We have been very happy with DB Cleaners. They definitely make our lives easier!
