DB Cleaning Services

These women cleaned everything. They vacuumed and washed behind the couch and my desk. They took out the lamps from the ceiling and wiped them out. They even took out the filter in my air conditioning duct and vacuumed it. I was very impressed with the quality of service, and friendliness of the staff. I am setting up a time with Douglas for them to come once a month. My apartment looks so nice and am very satisfied

After speaking with Douglas, who was polite and personable, and we discussed my location. I explained that I lived in South Jersey. He sent me a questionnaire to complete so they could provide an accurate quote. The response to the questionnaire was that they were unable to provide cleaning services to me at this time. I enquired as to why they were unable to provide me services, and they said they didn't have any clients in my area, and that they would be sure to contact me if that changed. So, unfortunately, I was unable to hire them.

I continue to use this cleaning service on a bi-monthly service plan. They do a great job and I plan to continue utilizing them.

Douglas is the BEST!!!! I have been using his service for over a year. I am moving to a different state and will definitely miss his cleaning crew. Very responsive, very thorough, very punctual, very trustworthy and very nice! I cant say enough great things about Douglas and his team. Today, he cleaned my entire home to prepare it for showing prospective buyers - I mean, they took care of EVERYTHING! What can I say....you can never go wrong with Douglas.

For health reasons I needed my house to be thoughly cleaned. Based on the execellent reviews I contacted Douglass to schedule a cleaning - he himself answered his cell and was able to set up a visit on a Saturday. I was very happy that Douglass was able to fit me into what has to be a busy time of year. His crew of 3 arrived promptly and proceeded to give my house the most through cleaning I have ever seen. I have had other services but they seemed to only clean suracces you could see. DB took care to move whatever they could and everything was clean and gleaming when they left. Douglass called me when the crew was finished to make sure that I was happy and I was. I have asked to be added on as a monthly cleaning client and I look forward to to a long relationship with Douglass and his crew. Thank you Douglass helping me as you did.

I needed a very heavy duty cleaning for a rental apartment where i was about to move in. I am italian so very demanding when it comes to a clean house, my american friends love to call me "cleaning maniac". I sold my house where i lived for 12 years so i felt spolied as i ketp my place immaculate and that surely contributed to sell it in a very short time. Said all this the idea of going back to rental scared me. I didn't want to be in a dirty place and to have to use dirty oven, stove and bathroom. I also love to bake so having clean kitchen is very important. I found DB cleaning on AL and read the reviews so i decided to hire them to do the heavy work. I confess i was pretty skeptical as 15 years ago when i first moved in Philly i hired a local cleaning service and they did an unsatisfactory job. I contacted Douglas and he was very nice and listened to my requests. He always replied quickly to my emails. The day before they came to clean i went in the apartment and i felt like crying, i want to buy all new applinaces. Douglas and his crew showed up morning after and i left them doing their job. When i came back i could not believe my eyes !!!! The place smells so good and was spotless. Bathroom door seems brand new, all the mold and mildew deposit of years on tiles was gone.The kitchen also was spic-and-span. I was so happy !!!!!! I woudl strongly recommend Douglas and his crew to anybody, maybe little expensive but in my opinion there is no better way to spend money than the one that guarantee you a clean place to live. Reached out to Douglas after seeing the reviews on the site. Douglas responded quickly, and were were able to handle the estimates for the initial cleaning as well as regularly scheduled services right over the phone. The price above was for the initial cleaning. Douglas and his crew (around 5 folks total) came out at 3:30 PM, and stayed for aproximately 4 hours to get our home the cleanest it has been since we moved in. With 3 young kids and a dog, the house needed attention. The initial cleaning is a wall to wall, ceiling to ceiling scrubbing of the entire contents of the house. Douglas cleaned out our windowsills, vaccuumed under every bed, dusted ceiling fans & chandeliers, scrubbed bathrooms (my wife commented that she thought our bathroom color was cream until Douglas got through with it - sparkling white when he was done. They even cleaned the grout), etc. They moved furniture to vaccuum in areas that haven't seen a vaccuum cleaner in multiple years. The attention to detail was spectacular. We were extremely pleased and have already recommended Dougas & Co. to our neighbors.

They were excellent. They worked hard and they got this place in shape. Their price was expensive, their quality was good.

Excellent experience. I had two cleaners for about 8 hours. They were 10 minutes early and waiting in the driveway when I arrived. They went right to work cleaning. Language was a bit of an issue but didnt prevent me from getting my message across. I left them alone in the house mulitple times throughout the day to run errands. Every time I returned they were hard at work. The windows were the only area that left a bit to be desired. My house is about 40 years old and does not have pull in windows so when they cleaned it was only what could be reached from inside. The price was as quoted.

They arrived on time and came fully prepared to get the job done. I provided instruction in advance on what exactly I wanted done and they were able to handle the job without any supervision. I was impressed with their professionalism and their effciency (approx.2 1/2 hours). I would absolutely use their services again!

They were for hours. They did an excellent job. They kept in touch with us throughout the cleaning & asked us questions. They cleaned inside things, outside things, on top of things, & under things. They just did a fantastic job. I'm waiting to hear about a regular cleaning schedule from them. Very punctual - very responsive - polite too!

I found DB cleaning on Angie's list and set up an appointment for an initial cleaning with the plan to set up a more regular cleaning schedule if I was satisfied with the service rendered. I selected DB cleaning after calling other cleaning services recommended on Angie's list and found them to be too expensive. Although, I was initially not impressed with the professionalism on the phone, I am now very happy with DB cleaning and would highly recommend them. Douglas was great and his staff is wonderful. They arrived promptly for the initial cleaning and did a great job. They are now coming every other week and have continued to do an excellent job. They are receptive to particular requests and are extremely accomodating. They are extremely professional, efficient, and take pride in their work. Additionally, they are just good people.

A team of three people came to my house, where routine cleaning had been neglected as I am out of town a lot these days. I have only occasionally had house cleaners in the past, most recently years ago. But now I am a convert! The first cleaning is a "deep" clean and costs more than a regular clean. IMO it was worth it, as it enabled me to focus on things I needed to get done to prepare for hosting Thanksgiving (such as organizing and decluttering). The team brings its own supplies and just asks for trash bags. They wear disposable footwear so they are not going around in shoes. They were pleasant, hard working, and cooperative. I would be happy to have this team again. My bathrooms are dated and I do not stay on top of shower doors and grout as I should. They restored my aging baths to gleaming as much as possible considering the age and related issues. In my powder room, they took care of the tarnish on the brass faucets. I will have to ask them what they used as I had not been able to address this successfully myself. In my kitchen they both damp mopped and scrubbed (using a scrub brush on a pole) the tile floor. Before they left, a team member even swept off my front step. Douglas called while they were finishing up to make sure things were satisfactory.

My wife and I stayed out of the way - there's one room in our house that we didn't need cleaned and we spent most of our time in that room during the 3 hour cleaning process. The effect on us when we came out to see what the DBC had accomplished was overall amazement... It seemed like a completely different house, clean looking and smelling with everything carefully gone over. Perfect cleaning crew!

I found DB Cleaning Services on Angie's List and they were fantastic. It was 220 for the first cleaning and then different pricing for future scheduled cleanings. They were very nice, on time and did a great job. I'll definitely be using them again.

I got quotes from three services of Angie's List. DB was the most reasonable initial quote so we went with them and have not been disappointed! The workers (usually women, but sometimes the husband and wife) work really hard and do not sit around. Breaks seem to be short and infrequent and cleaning nicely done. We've made requests that they use our cleaning products, which has been no problem. We also have an wood floor that is oiled (no urethane) and needs to be mopped with an oil soap, which they have also done effectively. We don't have much experience with cleaners, but we are really happy! We have used DB for about two years now and have always been thrilled with the cleaning or on the very very few occasions where something wasn't great it was taken care of in a most professional manner. I was prompted to write the review because though I had been very happy, there was a change in crew and it wasn't as great. Douglas who is always asking for feedback picked up on a subtle cue from us and came for a free deep cleaning! We tried to pay but he insisted it be free. The deep cleaning included the inside of the refrigerator and the oven and other extras. The usual cleaning is all the dusting including on high shelves, top of the fridge, on a "plant shelf that is only accessible by climbing up to with a step stool, bathrooms, kitchen, two and 1/2 bathrooms, one bedroom (kids clean their own rooms), and a light cleaning (vacuuming and dusting) in the basement (1700 sq. ft house plus a full basement). Still super happy.

Douglas brought 2 workers with him to accomodate our schedule and finish in a timely fashion. This was very much appreciated. Everyone was great, worked well and went beyond what they were asked to do. When they saw something that needed cleaning, they took care of it. In the end, they vacuumed the floors and rugs to leave everything fresh and clean, although I had only asked them to clean all the hard to reach areas of the apartment. I intend to use them for this type of work again, as well as any other cleaning needs I have. I would highly recommend Douglas and his workers.

I would definitely recommend them to my friends and will use them again. Douglas texted me 1 hour before coming to the house, as he promised he would, did everything (and more) that he said they would do, did a very good job, and charged what they said they would charge.

Douglas and his crew are phenomenal. I was given an estimate by phone, which he then adjusted by lowering it $40 once he arrived. He was on-time and very polite. My home has never been this clean. They clean EVERYTHING!! Move all of the furniture, towel dry the floors, clean the ceilings... Douglas even hand washed my dishes, then cleaned my sink. I have requested they return every two weeks. So happy.

I was not in Philadelphia but needed to have my house cleaned to get it ready for showing as it was placed on the market. I worked with Douglas by phone. He was able to clean my house within two days of the phone call. I let him get in through a key box, do his work, and leave. I paid him through paypal, sight unseen. The realtor went in to see the place and confirmed that they had done a wonderful job and had done everything that I had asked, such as moved the refrigerator, cleaned it out and uplugged it. Wouldn't have done that with anyone. I would definitely continue to have him clean my houses, even without me there.

On July 18, 2012, I was searching for someone to clean my house ASAP. I tried several companies, most not working on the weekend, didn't call back, or without availability for two weeks. Douglas called me back right away and told me that he was going to try and see if others would mind moving times in order to fit me in. He called me back later and told me that he could fit me in on Saturday, the very next day! He, however, called me on Friday, July 20, 2012, and told me that something had come up and would be unable to do my house on Saturday. We scheduled it for Monday, July 23, 2012, which still fit perfectly within my time frame. Three people came and did a great job on my two story row house, including basement. I think it took four hours. They pulled everything from the walls, from the rugs and got everything. I was very impressed with the professionalism and I think that what struck me as real customer service was the fact that he took off money for the inconvenience of the rescheduling! The original price was $300.00. I was very impressed with that as I had been the one to call on such short notice and he was the one to juggle around time to fit me in in the first place.
