+ -1 moreThe two person team arrived right on time bringing all the equipment and cleaning supplies to do the cleaning. They were friendly and professional. After introducing themselves, they asked me to show them about the house asking me what I would like to have done. They promptly set to work, cleaning all the surfaces in the kitchen: counters, oven tops,window sills. The refrigerator was cleaned and looked shiny new by the time they were finished.All the wood cabinets were wiped down. The floor was thoroughly washed. The bathroom fixtures were scrubbed down until the calcium deposits were removed and they shone like new. Woodwork and doors were washed down, dust was washed from the floors, and throw rugs vacuumed and all furniture dusted. The house looked wonderful, and the team could not be nicer. Added to their wonderful work, they came to my rescue by eliminating a very large angry bee I found in the back room. Dealing with these people, from setting up the arrangements, to the work that was done was an excellent experience!

Additional services can be performed for added costs. We had the grout cleaned on our kitchen floor. We used DB Cleaning for a few months until we recently moved. They are reasonably priced and I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: The crew spot cleaned my entire house which is not easy to do. I have a large house with lots of little things around. They were lovely to deal with and very efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again anytime. My house is sparkling clean now and I love it! In short, they were amazing.

Description of Work: DB cleaned my home in an excellent manor. They were punctual, thorough and performed all the cleaning we discussed - this included oven cleaning, all floors, inside windows, dusting, vacuuming and organizing each surface in my home by removing all content cleaning and then placing it in a more organized fashion. Can't wait for next month.

+ -1 moreBelieve I spoke with owner. Asked for insurance information. Told me he had no Workers Compensation Coverage for his business. Supposedly promised (his word) only that he would personally take care of any of his employees that were hurt on the job. News flash! If there is no workers compensation insurance the homeowner is responsible for the in jured workers injury would could also include loss wages. If so be prepared to report any incident to your Homeowners carrier. If there is claim and you don't report it your insurance carrier could deny you coverage for "Late Notice"! The company may do an outstanding job but I will never know because when I wrote on 3-11-13 asking Douglas for his written guarantee I never heard back. If anyone has a question simply call your HO Carrier and ask them if they would cover you if 1. there was no work comp and 2. what would happen if you knew about a loss and then reported it late. ADDENDUM: RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE OWNER ON 3-26-2013 INDCIATING THAT DUE TO THE REVIEW HE IS NOW INVESTIGATING THE PURCHASE OF WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE PROTECTION OF BOTH HIS EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS. I HAVE NO WAY OF ASSURING THAT THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BUT THE OWNER DID MAKE AN EFFORT TO CALL.

I think that really distinguishes them from some of the other cleaning services we have used, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
Description of Work: Douglas and his crew come every other week to clean our house and do a fabulous job. We have been using them for several months now. They started with a deep clean and spent several hours working through the house and now have a regular day and time to visit. They clean selected rooms in the house since we don't use all of them on a regular basis.

+ -1 moreD&B came in with 5 people and stayed for almost 8 hours for what I thought was a more than fair price. When they left, the place was spotless. Everything had been moved and cleaned... rugs, furniture, picture frames, even pots and pans we had in boxes. Everything was cleaned and shining. The cleaners were very professional and courteous, and stayed long enough to do a very thorough job on everything. The contractors have now moved on to the basement and when they are done with that work, we will have DB back out to clean that area too. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Description of Work: We did a major addition to our house and the construction dust and general debris was everywhere. The place was just a mess.

Doug and a team of 3 others showed up on time and equipped with everything that they needed to clean our new home. The kitchens and bathrooms were in bad, bad shape and they came out incredibly clean. We did not plan to book regular cleanings, but the work done by DB Cleaning may just change our plans! I highly recommend this company for any house cleaning needs.

Description of Work: Douglas and his team have cleaned our home from top to bottom three times now and we are on a bi-weekly schedule. We are very pleased with their professionalism, quality of work and the respect they have for our home. DB cleans all of our floors, dusts everything (even chandeliers) in every room, cleans all bathrooms, wipes all countertop spaces and will even wash a stray dish in the sink. They keep our patio door sparkling, as well as a glass pocket door and the side light windows by our front door.

+ -1 moreThe short story: DB Cleaning Services was absolutely fantastic!! I don't think my house has ever been so clean. I would recommend them to family and friends, something I can't say very often. The long story: When we first moved into our home over the summer DB Cleaning wasn't taking new customers. Douglas was very polite and professional over the phone and we agreed to keep in touch should they have a team available. We had a different company (recommended by a friend) and things just weren't working out after 4-5 months. So I called Douglas @ DB Cleaning back. He was taking new customers again and we scheduled the initial deep clean. A team of 4 arrived right on time and after a quick walk-through immediately got to work. I was so impressed by the attention to detail and the truly deep clean my house was getting -- it would pass the white glove test with ease. The team did all of the "little things" right, too. Towels folded, sofas vacuumed, bed made properly, all the little things that add up. I am very pleased with this service and will be using them for bi-weekly cleaning. Initial deep cleaning, $350 -- bi-weekly cleaning, $160 -- knowing that my house will be thoroughly cleaned by a professional and respectful team, priceless.

+ -1 moreWe are very satisfied with the cleaning. The crew cleaned things that had never been cleaned before.We have two very large dogs and very hesitant in having strangers in our house. Not because our dogs are mean, they are just very big. Our floors were scrubbed and very clean. That is very hard to do after all of the rain and mud that we have. My greatest fear is that they won't come back. We had been using a competitor and now we realize how lousy a job they had done. I would recommend DB Cleaning Services to anyone that wants a first class job done.

+ -1 moreWe chose to use DB Cleaning due to all the positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. They are a bit on the expensive side, but as soon as they're done with your house you'll understand why. A team of four showed up around 8:10 am and was at my home for five hours. They cleaned every room including the basement, moved furniture to dust and mop, cleaned all baseboards, scrubbed the shower with a professional machine, and even took light fixtures down to dust. They also followed specific instructions not to use harsh cleaners and only vinegar and water on the original hardwood floors. I've used cleaning people in the past and there is absolutely no comparison. Thanks to Douglas and the team.

+ -1 moreThe initial clean they sent a team of 5 people they were here for 3 hrs. They did everything moved the fridge cleaned under it. The moved all furniture and cleaned under it. They cleaned all the appliances in the kitchen and made them look like new on the inside. They did a great deep clean. We have just started with them and had our 1st normal clean which was 2 people for about 2 hrs and they did another great job. We have a toddler at home with alot of toys. They move all the toys and clean under them. They do a great job and would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreI moved into the area about 2 years ago and hired a cleaning service. They did such a horrible job, and the charge was ridiculous. I decided I would never hire another cleaning service and would clean my own house moving forward. With my work schedule, that is pretty much impossible so I joined Angies list before hiring anyone else. When I saw the "A" rating for DB cleaning I decided to give them a try. Douglas returned my message within the hour and by Saturday he and his crew were here. They did such an amazing job, cleaning every floor board, every blind and dusting and scrubbing the entire house. And the price was right! They charged less than what I had spent on the 1st cleaning and did a 100% better job. So much so, that I now use them regularly. Douglas is always responsive via phone or text message and he is trust worthy and reliable. If you're looking for a cleaning service, you will not be disappointed with DB!!

Description of Work: I was looking for a service to clean our house after moving in this past November. Doug and his team were responsive, available to provide service quickly and provided an accurate quote upon my inquiry. Our first service was about $300 and was a VERY thorough clearn of our entire house. They even had a ladder to clean our stairway light fixtures, which I was very impressed about. They had a team of 4 people working for 4 hours and did a fantastic job. I now have them come once a month ($150 each time for a 3 bed, 2.5 bath house). I fully trust Doug and his team to do a great job each time. I had used Merry Maids in the past for our apartment in Chicago, and while they did an ok job, they had a higher cost. I find DBC's cost for the service provided to be very reasonable!

I can say that they are the first service I've used who clean my house the way I would do so myself. They even take special care with our deaf cat who can be a bit difficult. They are good at trying to make him comfortable and work his special needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DB Cleaning to someone looking for reliable and consistently good cleaning.
Description of Work: DB Cleaning has been cleaning our house since September 2012. They come every week on Fridays. They send in a team of the same two people who are very efficient and thorough. They clean 4 bathrooms, all floors (all are hardwood), our wood stairs, vacuum our area rugs, dust all furniture, and give the kitchen a thorough cleaning. Douglas took the time to visit and do an in-person walk through of the house. They then do an in-depth cleaning of the entire house before starting regular cleaning.

We got quotes from several companies and DB was the first to provide price in the range that we wanted and on the frequency that we wanted. They have been extremely reliable, professional and thorough since we have been using them the past several months. I love coming home on days that they have been here - the house looks and smells great. They are also good with our dog which is a huge plus as she can be a little hesitant with new people. They make all the arrangements very easy by sending reminders the day before they are scheduled and accepting payment via paypal. Overall, I've been very happy with their work.

+ -1 moreGreat experience from start to finish. My first call was placed on a Friday and the owner (at least I think she's the owner!) returned our call within 8 hours. Very easy communications with questions and answers, she then arrived as scheduled for the estimate visit. I was very happy with things to that point so I booked on the spot. She called me within 48 hours to set the absolute appointment time since I had requested first cleaning within a week on a Friday. I think Friday's are really tough assignments for cleaning services and agreed to a Thursday appointment. As noted earlier, both visits have been solid and we are looking forward to continued success with this group.
Description of Work: Top to bottom first time cleaning. Very prompt arrival and timely completion. I've never had someone work as hard and diligently as this individual. She started quickly and, as far as I know, had no phone calls and did not take a break for 8 straight hours. Our home was immaculate and we felt the work performed was excellent. Second cleaning was equally as impressive although we were not home for the entire time so we can't comment on breaks. We saw a similar performance including timely start, diligent worker, little or no breaks, no phone calls, etc. Again our home was spotless. I'll post again in a month to let you know if this continues - I sure hope it does.
