DB Cleaning Services

I needed to have my house cleaned before a family member came to live with me after being hospitalized. Doug was a pleasure to deal with, understood the urgency of my situation and was able to fit us into his schedule quickly. They did a great job. Doug came out right away to correct a few minor details. My plan was to have them come out monthly or every two weeks but I could not afford it at that time due to not working. I spoke with Doug about 1 month ago to request an estimate to clean a family member's house and to come back out to clean my house but I did not hear back from him.

Doug and his crew did an outstanding job on my basement. Doug was very thorough and explained everything they were going to do. They removed all of the items in my basement and then thoroughly scrubbed the concrete floors twice, as well as the walls and shelves. They made sure to dry the floors as well. Doug and crew did an excellent job and I would absolutely call on them again.

DB's cleaners do a very good, reliable job. We've worked with DB for over a year now, and they've always done an excellent job in cleaning our space. The cleaners are friendly and professional and I trust them in our home. My one request would be if the cleaners came at a fixed time - they can show up just about anytime on the designated day. For our household, that's disruptive because there are small children.

We were moving from out of state. I contacted DB cleaners in advance to arrange for a thorough move-in cleaning. Doug was responsive, and helped clarify the scope of the job. I wish I could have just provided a credit card. The procedure to reserve an appointment required making a deposit through paypal and emailing that to Doug. I did not have a paypal account and was unfamiliar with the process, so it took a bit of time I wish I didn't have to take. That process was the only adverse aspect, and it's pretty easily overlooked because once the crew arrived, they did a great job. They were professional and got things really nicely cleaned. Through no fault of their own, a light bulb in a fixture was loose, so when they contacted it, it fell and broke. They made sure they found another light bulb and replaced it. They all worked very hard the whole time and the result was a very clean house for us to start living in. It was a lot of money, but they earned it and it was worth it. We will be inquiring about using DB for ongoing cleaning.

OK. Ran out of time (actually ran out of money!) so job was not finished. My fault, not theirs. If I had more $$ they would have stayed to finish. What they did clean was done well.

They did a good job. They were very good. I like that they were prompt and did what I wanted them to do. They were friendly and nice but the price is a little bit high. They were fine and if somebody asks me, I will recommend them but just check the price. Then they may find somebody who is cheaper but I know these people to be prompt and do their job like they say they will. They will make you happy.

Other then being a little late, house was cleaned thoroughly and everyone was nice and very professional.

I like them and have them coming back every Friday, however they still have not given me an exact time when they will arrive. Also, although they are very good, they sometimes miss some places and I have called them to advise.

I must say that I have used a few cleaning services in the past 7 years but DB is by far the best. I was looking for a new service to clean my house bi-weekly and I saw all the great reviews about DB so decided to give them a call. They were able to come out today for the initial cleaning and to say that I was impressed is an understatement. Douglas the owner came to my house along with 4 lovely women and they worked non-stop for over 3 hours and scrubbed the entire house top to bottom even my small and very dusty laundry room! I am looking forward to having a cleaning service that actually does what they claim to do. I would highly recommned them and look forward to working with them for a long time!

Douglas was responsive and easy to work with over the phone and by email to get the cleaning and steam cleaning arranged. The move-in clean was thorough, and Douglas and his team completed the job quickly and efficiently. Douglas also arranged for steam cleaning of the wall-to-wall carpeting following the move-in clean. We had intended to schedule steam cleaning separately but ended up working through DB Cleaning to simplify the process. DB was fairly competitive on the steam cleaning quote, and it did save us time not having to sequence the house cleaning and carpet cleaning. The steam cleaners worked very h****** some difficult areas in the carpet and were able to get out spots/high traffic marks.

The guys from DB Cleaning Services do an excellent job. I don’t have to supervise them. Everything is immaculate. I never had a problem with them.

Service arrived promptly, were very courtious and performed in a quiet professional manner. Quite willing to please with each request made of them.

To meet the deadline we were looking for, Doug volunteered to do the houses on Memorial Day since they couldn't fit it into their regular schedule. They did an amazing job! Our house was cleaner than it's ever been (even after previous cleaning services). They moved and lifted couches to clean and dust under them, they moved the refrigerator to clean behind it, they cleaned that broiler drawer under the oven, and did a similarly thorough job in all the rooms -- moving furniture to clean behind and under everything they could. All four of the individuals on the team were very friendly and professional and really did a great job. The price for the initial cleaning was about $350; the work took about 5 hours for a team of 4 very hard workers. We have asked them to come back every two weeks (bi-weekly service is less than the initial cleaning -- closer to $160 every two weeks).

The cleaners were a little late due to circumstances beyond their control, but, the service was great! Everyone was very nice and accomodating to our two young children and their nap schedules. They took 4 hours and did an amazing job - I don't think our house has ever been so clean. The prices were perfectly reasonable and the service was great. Would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

When Douglas met with my wife and I initially, he was upfront telling us that he would have to charge an hourly-rate for the work but really helpful in pointing out how we could help the cleaning process by removing the window curtains, pictures, knick-knacks, and assorted tchotchkes before they arrived to allow his team to quickly move through and get their job done in the shortest time possible. When Douglas and his 3-person team arrived on cleaning day, they got right to work with each team member quickly getting started and working together in harmony. We are thoroughly pleased with Douglas and now that the house is clean, we expect to use DB Cleaning Services regularly to keep it clean.

We are new customers of DB cleaning. We were very impressed with their work. They were thorough, efficient, pleasant to deal with, and our house sparkled when they were finished. They were clearly a cut above other services we have used in the past and we have contracted to have them clean our house on a regular basis.

The service and staff are excellent. They even moved furniture to get the dust that isn't removed with regular cleaning. They arrived on time and were very pleasant. My house was in need of a thorough cleaning and they delivered. I will continue to use them. I will have them come monthly right now. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a reliable and thorough cleaning service. I have used others services in the past and DB Cleaning surpasses them.

I contacted DB Cleaning about a month ago. I knew they would be accepting new clients soon and I wanted to get in line based on the reviews here on Angie's list. I parted ways with my housekeeper of 10 years because she just would not go the extra mile and clean behind furniture, or clean light fixtures or stainless steel appliances or kitchen cabinet doors and so so many other details that make a house really clean. it was just less and less being done and I ended up having to do more and more. Well, after having my house cleaned properly today by Douglas and his crew of 4, I wish had gotten rid of her a long time ago! I always knew this house could sparkle! And sparkle it does. The tubs shine! The shower heads are clean of the crud from my hard water. They moved the furniture and cleaned behind. My laundry room is clean, they got between the crevices of the machines. Light fixtures were cleaned and they sparkle in the light now. Really, no detail was missed. I am beyond thrilled. Finally, after years of not being happy with my cleaning person but scared to take the jump, I did it. And it was so worth it. Communicating with Douglas was easy. It was a little challenging to connect on the phone with him working and me working but we managed to coordinate everything via email, which is really easier for me anyways. I filled out a questionnaire about my home, how many rooms, bathrooms, state of cleanliness etc and was told the initial cleaning would be $350. When cleaning day came, Douglas and his crew were right on time. They were professionally dressed, courteous, worked quietly and diligently. I have booked monthly cleanings for now as their are only two people in my household so it doesn't get that dirty. If I need to change it to bi weekly I will later. Anyways, I am thrilled with the service thus far. I have confidence in Douglas that he will keep the level of service high.

We contacted DB after ending our service with another company. The service from the other company started out good, but slowly got worse until the last service when they 'cleaned' the whole house in 45 minutes. I looked up a couple of companies on Angie's list and after talking to a few decided to try DB. They have been to the house about 4 times now and so far, I would rate their service as excellent. They deliver the sort of service that I expect from a cleaning company so I'm hopeful the quality stays at this level.

A team of 4 showed up to our house right on time. They took off their shoes, brought in their gear, and proceeded to clean my house from top to bottom. Since this was an initial cleaning, it was very detailed. They did an outstanding job and left my home in great condition. At the end of the cleaning the leader of the group walked around the house dragging his finger all around, looking for dust, and could not find any. The crew was very polite and took great care of my belongings during the cleaning. I am definitely going to have them begin cleaning biweekly and I hope they continue to perform at such a high level.

Doug and his team came in to my new home before moving day to give it a top to bottom cleaning. They were meticulous. They were so thorough, they cleaned behind the washer and dryer in the laundry room and even wiped down the ceiling in the kitchen. My home was spotless. Additionally, he was able to give me an estimate beforehand. I will most certainly use their services again in the future

There is absolutely no doubt that I will use DBCleaning in the future! My apartment was given the best cleaning it has ever had. Right now it looks cleaner than it was on the day I moved in. They did everything I requested and more. The entire place was spotless from top to bottom when they left. Every speck of dust and dirt was removed from every nook and cranny and the floor and baseboard sparkled like they never have before.They exceeded my wildest expectations by a wide margin. In addition, they were pleasant to talk to and they worked with with every efficiency possible. Absolutely the best job ever for a reasonable price!

They brought a 5 person crew who did a great job. We did not speak the same language but that did not effect the quality of the work. The wished that the water pressure in that old house was better so the could work faster, that was for sure. I felt enough trust to leave them alone on the property while I made some necessary runs (liquid plumber) and errands for my own house repairs. They were very sensible and asked questions so I could make decisions at appropriate times. That old house has never been that clean.

Douglas was very nice and approachable. He listens and follows through all requests. Douglas's team did a wonderful job spring cleaning our 2800 sq ft house. They were meticulous in their cleaning. Took care of every little detail with patience and diligence. Our call was very short notice and they adjusted their schedule to work our house for not less than 5 hours. A special thanks to their other client, Jennifer, who was kind enough to agree this change in schedule. All in all, a wonderful experience.
