Did a wonderful job. Very punctual, professional, courteous, and efficient.

This company is NO joke. My house has Never been this clean. I've used so may other cleaning services before......Molly Maid, Merry Maid, The Maids, A Personal Touch. And several private cleaning ladies as well. No one has ever cleaned my house so thoroughly. The grout in my bathroom floor is white. They wiped down the glass shelves in the medicine cabinets. They moved the furniture in every room to vacuum. I'm so amazed at the work they've done. I called them Monday and they were able to come out the next day. They were very respectful of my time and my belongings. Last year my neighbor had knee replacement surgery and asked if I could recommend a cleaning company. I told her I could not because I never found one that I thought did a good enough job. Yesterday I found THE best cleaning company and I am enthusiastically and happily recommending them to you!!! This company is SUPERIOR.

They did it on a short time frame and they did a wonderful job. They were amazing, they went above and beyond. They didn't only dust my blinds, they actually took them down and washed them.

They were great. A whole team came.

We regularly use DB Cleaning, and we have always been impressed. They are reliable, thorough, and affordable for cleaning our 3-story trinity. This week, they could not make our regular Friday appointment because of the snowstorm--however, they immediately rescheduled for the next day (a Saturday) and worked around our schedule. I can't recommend DB Cleaning highly enough.

I'm normally a bit of a control person, but they set me totally at ease. I plan to use them on a periodic basis.

Very professional and very responsive. They even took videos of the work they did and replayed back... the footage of the water coming from our carpet steam cleaning was exceptionally gross (and awesome!)

We have been using DB Cleaning for two years now and they always do a wonderful job. The owners care about the quality of services that they provide and the staff are always on-time, professional, and do a great job cleaning my home.

Douglas and his team did a great job cleaning my 1900 sq ft home. I was able to schedule an appointment on short notice. Once they arrived we conducted a walk thru of the house and what I wanted done. I have never used a cleaning service before, but after I saw how great my house looked I thought the price was spot on. Having paypal as a payment method was very convenient. I would definitely hiring Douglas again.

After filling out the DB questionnaire I was given an estimate for the first cleaning. This initial cleaning was expensive but thorough. To their credit they did explain the first cleaning would be more. However, their estimate for this initial cleaning was ~$450 and the charge was $525. Ok so they miss judged a bit. I agreed to have a cleaning every two weeks. The price was $140 per cleaning. Next cleaning they showed on time and spent about 2.5 hours. I was home. Cleaning was ok I was satisfied. One note they want to be paid through pay-pal so I had to set up an account. They preferred not to be paid by credit card preferring cash/check or pay-pal. Next cleaning they showed on time spent about 2.5 hours. I was home. At the end of the cleaning one of the cleaners asked if I had noticed the mirror in our bathroom. I said no. She took me to the bathroom to have a look. Turns out a mirror over the sink was damaged, one of the anchors had started to pull out of the wall. The cleaner informed me that the mirror was not installed properly, that it should be in a stud. She said this was not safe and should be fixed. (mirror was hung by a professional contractor with drywall molly bolts rated at 50lbs each) She did not say the damage occurred while they were cleaning or that it was like that when they started cleaning. Based on this I assumed they found it that way. I waited till that evening to speak with my spouse and see if she had noticed any issues with the mirror that morning. My spouse said there was no issue that morning, so something happen to the mirror between that morning and when the cleaners had completed their cleaning. My question was if the mirror was damaged prior to cleaning and they saw it why was it not mentioned to me since I was home. Instead they cleaned the bathroom and then mentioned that the mirror was damaged and dangerous. Next day I called DB and said I was cancelling. They asked why, I explained the story. They said the mirror was installed improperly but never said they damaged the mirror. They offered to have a vendor come to my house to inspect and identify if the mirror was installed properly and if it was installed properly and if they had caused the damage they would offer to pay for repairs. This made no sense to me and was a waste of my time. In summary I felt I was not told the whole truth. This was more troubling then the actual damage. Then I was asked to take the time to have an inspection to determine if they would pay for damage they never admitted to causing. So what was it?? To me regardless of the item, if you break something you should offer to fix/replace it. I would not recommend these folks to my friends.

They were great. They showed up on time and even brought in some additional workers to help. They were here from 9am until 7:30 pm. They were very respectful and polite

Very well! Doug responded very quickly to my initial inquiry. He sent an email questionnaire where I could explain exactly what my needs were, and then he got back to me within a day with his service's rate ($35/man-hour) and how long he expected the job to take (4-5 hrs with a team of 4-5 people). He was able to include steam cleaning the carpet at $50/room, which helped cut down on the overall time the cleaning project would take me. I told him the earlier the better; he offered me my first choice, the earliest day that worked for me (which was four business days later). The team arrived on time, and they were very friendly. I got the impression that they were somewhat surprised by how dirty it was... Doug started talking about it possibly not getting done that afternoon, it took them a few minutes to develop a plan for who should do what first, etc. But they quickly got to work. After it was clear I was doing nothing but get in the way, I left for a couple hours. When I came back they were almost finished. Based on the amount of dirt & dust the condo had contained, it looked miraculously clean. The dust was gone, the bathrooms and kitchen looked almost like new! (There's wear & tear no cleaning can fix.) The steam cleaner (Doug's relative) had been told to come a little later than originally planned (because of the expectation that the cleaning would take too long), so we had to wait about a half hour after the cleaning was complete for him to get through rush-hour traffic. Once he arrived, though, the team got right to work. Doug, one of his cleaners, and the steam-cleaning relative slaved on that carpet. They divided the labor and worked well as a team to get it done as quickly and completely as possible. At points they were on their hands & knees scrubbing the carpet with a brush to get out stains (and we're talking cat vomit, mildew from being under an Oriental rug, and Oriental rug dye staining). They couldn't remove every stain (I didn't expect them to - what they were able to remove far exceeded my expectations), and Doug seemed genuinely disappointed and apologized, pointing out what they weren't able to remove. Doug had said that they treat all their clients as if they were cleaning for their own families. That may sound cliched and hard to believe, but the way they cleaned truly reflected that. They worked very hard to clean it to my satisfaction, and at no point did I feel judged for the condition of the home. I've had a couple different people clean my own house (admittedly, not a deep cleaning like this), and I've never been as pleased as I was with this job or the professionalism of the people doing it. One of the cleaners even folded the end of the toilet paper roll into a rose! Because some people care about this, I'll mention that two of the cleaners (and the steam cleaner) spoke excellent English, one spoke a little English, and one appeared to speak no English. I don't have a problem with that as long as someone on the team understands what needs to get done, and the work is done well (and it was!). Overall, I'd say the job was pricey but well worth it. It was what I expected based on the quote I received. (For the steam cleaning, he counted my 4 rooms + hallway as 5 rooms, but I felt that was more than fair based on the size of one of the rooms, the work on the hallway, and the overall effort they put into that carpet.) When someone has 147 A ratings on Angies List, I don't waste my time looking elsewhere. I was in a rush & they could accommodate my schedule. I am considering hiring them as maintenance cleaners for this property and my own.

Douglas came with two other cleaners and cleaned the laundry room top to bottom, bathroom and powder room top to bottom, doors and woodwork in 6 rooms plus the laundry room. They cleaned the walls so that now they look as if they have just been painted. The house is occupied by a busy bachelor with two dogs and no time to tend to the heavy duty cleaning . The three of them cleaned non stop and were very accomadating. I was so pleased with their work and definitely would hire them again.

A brief bit of background. I found my housecleaning service at my previous house (out of state) via Angie's List. I was very happy with them, and figured I would use Angie's List to find one here. DB looked like they served my area and seemed to have great reviews. I figured that I would give them the job, at least provisionally, if the estimate met my expectations and if the estimate process gave me confidence in them. When I went to their website, I saw that they had temporarily stopped accepting new recurring clients. The said that they couldn't start any new clients until they had more people trained. This was actually quite encouraging. I didn't need anyone immediately, and I've seen this kind of training problem be an issue in the past with other companies. So it was great to see them protecting against it. But I still wanted to find out if they were in my price range, and would service my area. There would be no reason for me to wait 2-3 weeks for them to train people if they didn't serve my area or were too expensive anyway. Plus, I figured getting an estimate would add me the waitlist. So I used their online contact form, providing lots of information about my house and location. No response for a week. So I called. I got the owner who re-iterated what was on the website: no new clients. Which I was still OK with. He felt that it was still going to be 3 weeks before they were ready for new clients (meaning six weeks since he put the notice on the website). But he would happy to do an estimate in the meantime. He directed me to contact him via email. I emailed him immediately afterwards, with the same information I submitted before. Now another two weeks have passed and I still have no response. (While I did pick up the phone when I called, I didn't get my estimate: I still can't call that a response.) The thing is, if he doesn't respond to my queries now, when I'm a prospect, can I really expect any better when I'm a customer? I can't give him less than a C, because he never performed any service and thus I had no real problems. But even if he called me tomorrow, I'd be leery of hiring him because of this lack of responsiveness.

I was so pleased to see all of the positive reviews for DB which lead me to contact Douglas. While it did take a few days to hear back, once I did, he was very accommodating to help me with a tight deadline I was working with. After having construction done to 2 bathrooms, with dust all over, our home needed a complete detailed cleaning. I was sure some things would be missed, however, every nook of the house was attended to. With a team of 4 our home was done in a little over 5 hours which I thought was reasonable for the amount of work. The team led by Claudia were completely friendly, courteous and professional and worked very hard. I was completely satisfied. I had used another service in the past for regular cleaning but had become unhappy with the quality of the work. . While the cost with DB is higher, you will get your money's worth. I give them an A + and am considering hiring them for monthly cleaning.

When I first started using DB cleaning services I gave them a glowing review. Now I wish to update it based on a couple of years working with them. I did the original review mostly as a favor per their request because they were trying to achieve an angies list service award. I will start by saying they are very good at cleaning. What they are not good at is showing up as scheduled and taking responsibility for their mistakes. They do not have a gracious business service attitude about taking responsibility for errors and in fact act more like they are doing you a favor. There is no good excuse for not showing up and not taking responsibility for mistakes. If you want the details, read on. It's a long story. If nothing else question why you would want to use a cleaning service who allows an employee to use toxic oven cleaner without knowing how to use it properly, resulting in damaging my kitchen floor which I now have to pay out of pocket to have repaired. I initially employed their services to clean my elderly father's house.It was a challenge and they did a good job. There were numerous and I mean more than couple of times that they did not show up for early morning cleaning when my brother took special care to be at my father's house early so that he could be present and pay them. We sort of forced the cleaning service on Dad so it was a necessary evil that someon be there other than him. It was very frustrating that this happened many times but it would have been very challenging to find a new service based on the circumstances so we continued with them until he passed away. I decided to use them once this spring for a deep spring cleaning. The first day it was scheduled surprise surprise they didn't show up. At least they called which was unlike previous times. They had a car break down somewhere but I continued to wait all day as they kept delaying for an hour then 2 etc. They finally wanted to come at 6 pm and I said no and rescheduled. I'd wasted an entire Sat waiting around. They finally came another scheduled day and did a fine job cleaning except they damaged my kitchen floor with oven cleaner. Numerous tiles had to be replaced. In Douglas' (the owner) typical condescending way he insisted mistakes happen and he would take care of replacing the tiles (about 8). I asked if I could have someone that was experienced in replacing these particular tiles but he insisted they must go though their insurance company. He of course insisted that I pay for the cleaning right away and not wait as I thought would be fair until the floor had been fixed. So I did as to not be difficult but I felt uneasy about that. He sent a contractor who was nice enough. Ordered and replaced the tiles. Months later the tiles started to buckle so that I would trip over them. Not clear whether they were not installed properly or there is some issue with the materials. He sent the same contractor back to look at the issue. 2 times the person did not show up when scheduled. Once when I left work early on his insistence that it had to be before 5pm. No call or text. Just didn't show up. It was later and after having to contact DB that he texted to tell me that went home early that day sick. Still could have called. I reluctantly scheduled a second appointment at DBs insistence that it must be fixed by the original contractor and that I must be patient. So again I schedule a time but insist on 5:30 because I am not willing to leave work early again. I kid you not the contractor does not show up again, does not call or text. He does not reply to my texts or call until the next morning. When I call DB irate he has the nerve to suggest I am not being patient and he even had the nerve to suggest that it could even be possible that the damage might be due to something I have done such as water damage. He is condescending and insists it must be this same contractor even after all of this and insists defensively numerous times that he has done his part and again please be patient. He does not seem to think it reasonable that I don't want to set up another appt with someone who has not shown up 2 times in a row. He promises the owner of the company will call me that day. It is now 6 days later and no call fthe contractor company owner as promised and no follow up from DB. The right thing to do would have been to refund the fee for cleaning and/or pay for a proper contractor of my choice to replace the tiles. To me it would have made a lot more sense to pay to have the tiles fixed as I requested by a flooring professional. That?s how you keep a customer. I don't want the same company to come again and risk more wasted time on my part. Now I have to pay out of my own pocket to fix the problem so I am confident it is done right. I don't want to waste more of my time with more appointments with people that don't show up, don't even call and with the very likely possibility of the issue never being resolved. I am done doing business with a company/owner who continually has the attitude that he is doing me a favor rather than providing a service for which he is being paid.

Great crew. Great job. House looked and smelled clean. Easy to deal with and made tenant turnover quite stress free.

We're extremely pleased with the service. They're downright meticulous - every nook and cranny gets cleaned. The house literally sparkles when the team is done. The owner travels with the team regularly, so we feel highly confident in the work.

I called the provider and spoke to Doug, informing him of my need to have our house cleaned so that it could go on the market. He quickly grasped the situation and my request for expediency. He provided a questionnaire via email, and based on the answers, he was able to provide me with a quote in a few hours. After further communication, Doug demonstrated an exceptional flexibility in scheduling. He was able to speak with a regular client and rearrange times so that he and his team could be available the next morning. The morning of the cleaning, Doug sent a text that traffic would make them a little later than expected. I appreciated the communication. When I met him at the property, he was personable and professional. We walked through the house and noted a few areas that might need greater attention. I left the team (5 cleaners) and felt comfortable that they would perform a thorough job. I received another text a few hours later that they were nearly finished. Doug waited for me to arrive at the property, and we walked through once again. He reviewed all that was undertaken: cleaning of windows, woodwork, floors, light fixtures, in and around radiators, entire bathroom, entire kitchen and basement. It was a very thorough and well-done job. Doug and his team rendered the home "move in" ready. Before leaving, Doug provided me with a final total for billing, which was commensurate with his quote. In all, the experience was wholly positive. DB Cleaning provided excellent service from beginning to end. Doug was communicative, receptive to my request for a fast turnaround and able to accomplish everything I asked.

Douglas and his team were professional and upfront regarding services and costs. They did an amazing job! If we move back to the areA, would hire them for regular cleaning. The house had never been so clean! DB cleaned every nook and cranny, including hard to get to areas in our garage and storage rooms. When the buyer and realtors did their walk through (prior to settlement), they were all asking for the DB's contact information. My realtor said he had never seen a cleaner house in all his years in the business.

I contacted them for an estimate of service, but never heard anything back from them.
