Description of Work: The team of 5 including the owner showed up on time and in uniform. I was already impressed. I had a walk through with the owner to show every part of the house that I wanted clean and the 2 rooms that I did not want touched. I added an area that was particularly dirty and was not previously discussed. Douglas and his team happily took this on. Very quickly everyone started in different parts of the upstairs. They moved very heavy large pieces in our master bedroom to get behind and above everything. My house is approx. 3500 square feet. They were there for 6 hours working non stop til 8 o'clock at night. My house has never been so clean. Doug and his team were so polite and wonderful to work with. I look forward to working with them for a long time to come.

Description of Work: Clean our home, it was not a mess by any means. I have a lady that comes weekly. They removed stain on our kitchen floors ( wood stain) with a cleaning product and hid the fact by covering the spot with a rug. They flooded my kitchen sink and caused terrible damage to the cabinets underneath the sink and did not tell me. I discovered the issue hours later. Do not use this service.

Description of Work: I have used D & B Cleaning Services for almost 2 years now. The first time they came I had had some major construction work done on my house and when completed it was extremely dusty....everywhere. Douglas and crew came and 5 hours later my home was back in order. Since that time I have had D & B Services once a month. They come in and an hour later my house is clean. Dusted, vacuumed, floors and woodwork wiped clean, both bathrooms and kitchen are spotless when they leave. They even emptied our shredder! :D) Now that's a detail! As a matter of fact I spoke with Douglas today to schedule my monthly cleaning. I have no complaints with this company.

Description of Work: Doug was very responsive. When I initially contacted them, they weren't accepting new clients, but promised to put me on their list. They then contacted me about a month later with availability. We opted not to use their services in the end, but Doug was highly responsive and very accommodating to our requests.

Description of Work: They cleaned my vacant 1200sq ft home. They cleaned to perfection, everything that was agreed upon and then some. The property was vacant and needed a good cleaning to show it. The kitchen cabinets were empty as was the refrigerator. I did not request that the inside of the cabinets be cleaned nor the inside of the fridge, but they cleaned all of it, inside and out without any additional charge. They went into the attic, vacuumed the stairs and mopped the wood floor! This, again was above and beyond what we discussed, and at no additional charge. The $300 was more than I expected to pay for a house to be cleaned but it was worth every penny and I am grateful to DB Cleaning Services for their attention to detail and thorough job! The $300 was for an initial cleaning, if I had them return on a bi-monthly basis, I think I would be $120 for each time after that.

Description of Work: This was for an initial full cleaning - including window washing (rare indeed) of our 2000 sq ft condo in Philadelphia. I was amazed at the work they did. They cleaned into every nook and cranny including the closets, stove, fridge, microwave+++++. They brought all their own equipment but checked first on everything that we would want done. We were in and out while they were here and they were up on their step ladder cleaning the ledge over the doors. The place was cleaner than when we moved in when they were done and they worked as a team of three for quite a few hours to do everything. The cost was very good and we are hiring them to come back every other week at 120.00 which would be 60 dollars a week - WOW. They clean until they are done. They were also lovely people with a very positive attitude

Description of Work: The company showed up as scheduled. They cleaned the house Their work overall was good, but I showed them an area that I wanted them to be sure to clean and I also had showed this area to Douglas when he came out to give an estimate. They failed to do the area in the kitchen I was concerned about.. When I called Douglas and complained, he made excuses for why the work was not done and did not offer to return to take care of the problem. On their website, they state that if people are not satisfied they will return and correct the problem, that never happened. Also, they were supposed to reschedule me for service and they never called back.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate. Was given a time frame that person would come to the house for a quote. Douglas arrived as schedule and was very professional and gave us a quote which we were satified with. He assured us the company was insured. We asked him to email us a copy of the insurance bond as well as his business license. Once received we would scheudle the cleaning. He assued us he would send it within 24 hours. It is now 6 days later and we have heard nothing. We are now looking for another cleaning service.

Description of Work: We contacted DB Cleaning Services on Monday, 2/27/12. We needed service for a full-house emergency cleaning for the following day. Doug called us back within 30 minutes and we explained our situation (parents moving back into large house in Wynnewood after being in nursing home for several months.) House was dusty, musty and crusty and needed much attention. He was able to get a crew to the house the following day. Doug was a delight and his crew were friendly and hard working. The spider webs from the corners of the ceilings in all of the rooms were gone! The ceiling fan blades were all cleaned and the fans looked brand new! Toilets and baths were scrubbed. Windows were cleaned. The hardwood floors were glowing. All of the baseboards were cleaned. The house looked great! We were thrilled with the attention to detail Doug and his crew performed and will definitely use this service again for our parents home as well as ours!

Description of Work: I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEM TO COME TO MY HOUSE TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. THEY CALLED AT THE LAST MINUTE TO CANCEL DUE TO ILLNESS AND WERE TO CALL BACK TO SET UP ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. NEVER DID, SO I HIRED ANOTHER COMPANY. I DID HAVE A GOOD FEELING WHEN I FIRST SPOKE WITH THEM. THEY SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AS TO WHAT HAD TO BE DONE IN MY SITUATION, HOWEVER, WE NEVER MADE THE CONNECTION. I WOULD GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE.

Description of Work: Douglas came to our house to give a detailed estimate of what it would cost for him and his crew to deep clean a very dirty medium sized home that had been empty and gathering dust all summer. We have had problems in the past with mold and mildew, so we asked for everything in the house to be not only dusted, but wiped down and cleaned. He arrived exactly on time, with his wife (Brunna) and 2 other lovely young women - equipped with all their own supplies. Four people worked for over 5 hours. They cleaned every inch of the place, not only wiping down every knick-knack and picture frame, but washing all of he venetian blinds with soap and water. After mopping the floors, they got down on hands and knees and wiped them dry. They disassembled the stove top and washed and polished every piece before putting it back together. Douglas climbed a ladder and vacuumed the tops of the closets, which are essentially shelves that no-one can even see. He even asked if we wanted them to clean inside the refrigerator! Every cobweb, dustball, and (yes) mouse dropping that was in the closets and behind or under the furniture is now gone... and the house smells great!

Description of Work: We have used DB Cleaning Services a few times now for a full house clean (cleanings every other week), and it's been great. With two young children AND working full-time, I just couldn't keep up with the cleaning anymore. We've been very happy with their service, and Douglas is always asking if we are happy with the cleaning, and if there's anything else that they can do better. In the past I used another company who I was pleased with initially, but then after a couple of cleans they sent in the "B" team and it was AWFUL. I like the fact that Douglas and/or Brunna are always here doing the cleaning personally, because they have a vested interest in making sure that we are satisfied with the cleaning each and every time, and it shows.
