I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for a job well done. From the first phone call to the end of job, everyone was helpful. Very professional, courteous and friendly. It only took 2 days for major overhaul of slab & pipes. I was shocked at how clean they left my house. They went over and beyond my expectations.

We had an issue a sewage backup. It cleared itself, but was still slow draining. Ran a camera through system and flow was good. Complete backup days later. Technician came back a cleared line (no charge). From the 1st call until the truck drove away, the experience was VERY good. The communication on the phone, the scheduling, on time arrival and the actual work all was very professional. To Colleen, Tim, Valarie, John and Mike THANK YOU! A good company can only exist with GREAT employees. Owners should be proud!!!

Outside of price, service was outstanding!

It went well. They are very quickly. We decided not to go with this company but I will be considering giving them a call if there will an issue. The estimate was higher than expected.

It went extremely well. The Technician was professional, respectful and efficient.

They are honest. They are reasonable. They are courteous and professional. I would stick with them over another company. I had them here several times they just came more honest and reasonable it is a family owned business they have high standards with quality of work.

They?re extremely expensive. The only reason I used them was because they were running a special. They were going to wave their service fee, but when they quoted the work, it was $500. Which was a lot of money for 2 toilets that ran, I think one leaked. I also had to take the day off of work. The quality was good, my toilet doesn?t? leak and the other one?s not running. So, they did a good job that way. They were very responsive. They were on time. It wasn?t his fault. I mean I could have turned around and said no, but if you don?t have the service done, then they will charge you the service fee. I wanted the work done and I had already taken the day off. They were also running a deal with the fact that they were going to send you two movie tickets. I had never gotten the movie tickets, I called about them once. I was going to call about them again. It seems like a stupid, silly, little thing, but to me it?s false advertising. If you?re going to tell me that you?re going to do something, then I call back and you say, ?oh, I?m putting it in the mail, you?re on the list!? I?ve never gotten the tickets and we?re in June. It?s very frustrating, even if it?s one of them.

I got a service contract with them not just for plumbing but also for my heating and air conditioning. When the person came out, the quality was very professional. He diagnosed the problem. He had some difficulty in unclogging it. He had to use different tools. It took him about half an hour. He cleaned up after himself. I thought the price was reasonable for what he had to do.

They were prompt & professional. They not only cleared the problem, they also helped us understand why it happened. This allowed us to make a change in our procedures so as to eliminate this from happening again

He was professional and very knowledgeable....also friendly. I originally planned for him to repair only the kitchen faucet, but when I spoke to him I realized he knows what he is talking about so I added some things for him to check out. I was very pleased with the results.

3/29 Plumber was called out because basement carpet was wet and we suspected the hot water heater leaked because the pan underneath the hot water heater had water in it. No one was home for the 4 days prior to the leak and we discovered it when we came home 3/30 Plumber returned to replace the 7 year old hot water heater with a new one. 4/17 Basement carpet was found to be wet again and water was in the pan under the hot water heater. Again, we were not home for a few days and found the leak when we came home. 4/18 Plumber came out and identified that the high pressure relief valve had opened and caused the water to drain into the pan as well as spray onto the carpet. We were told that when no one is home for a few days using the system, pressure can build up and the thermal expansion tank should compensate and take care of the additional water pressure. Since the heater is brand new the plumber suspected the tank did not leak, but that the thermal expansion tank did not perform properly. He found that the expansion tank was not pressurized to match the 50 psi house water pressure. The plumber pressurized the tank to 50 psi and then left. 4/18 I contacted the plumbing company to express concern and ask why the original tank was replaced given the two scenarios were identical before and after the tank was removed. I was told the original tank was thoroughly inspected and found to be leaking. We dispute this, but cannot prove it since the tank was removed by the plumber and discarded. I asked to speak with the owner but was only permitted to speak with the manager. The manager did call me and offered to have the carpets cleaned but was not willing to accept the possibility that the original leak was due to the pressure relief valve opening and remains firm that the tank leaked. If the tank leaked, why would the water not be contained in the leak tray, and how did the carpet get soaked?

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing waived their home visit fee, which was already a bargain because I called after hours and they weren't able to come out until the next day. After evaluating the problem, we were given clear, upfront pricing for the work. A second plumber was needed because the snake used by the first plumber to clear the drain didn't work. The second plumber brought additional equipment and we got the drain cleared. Despite the additional labor, their initial price was honored. And that price happened to have been better than others we received from the competition.

After a home inspection, I had a laundry list of plumbing "things that should be done before something happens" to be done. I called several plumbing companies in order to get estimates. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was by far the best by returning phone calls and getting an estimator to the house right away. Carmen was prompt, respectful, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained how we could save some money by combining certain jobs and waiting on others. We wound up having several different tasks done by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing (iron bathtub plumbing replaced, water facet, drain cleaning, drill hole for dryer vent). All the jobs were done in a professional competent manner. Carmen always returned for each job sometimes with help. They always showed up in trucks and uniforms marked with the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing logo. After the first job, I was disappointed in the quality of the cleanup and informed them through a comment card. Their front office called and asked what they could do to correct the situation and followed up later. Every job after that, the cleanup was as thorough as I would expect from a top-notch service. For the outdoor facet in this case, they were on time, did what they said they would do and kept us informed. One thing, they do seem to be on the expensive side compared to some of the estimates I got that eventually trickled in. But, you are getting top notch service and I did not have to wait for anything. Whenever I called or scheduled a job, they were on it promptly and the job was done to last. We would recommend them.

The repairman came out and said the faucet was bad. He gave me a choice of faucets to use. He didn't give a quote when he gave the options. I chose the less expensive one. He charged $200 to fix the leak. I called and they said the repairman was not in. He didn't finish the job. They're suppose to send someone out to hook up the drain stop tomorrow. I feel I was way overcharged for the faucet repair. He charged $471 for the faucet, $59 to come out and $210 to fix the leak. The workmanship was good, but overall experience was very poor.

AI called Michelle around 11 am and by 2:00 they were here and took care of the problem. The was very prompt, curtious and got the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them!

They are prompt, courteous, on time, quick and correct. They do only my big work; I don’t use them for little stuff. I use them for really big plumbing, but they do everything. I have used them for a couple of very big jobs. With regard to price, they are a touch more than everybody else, but we are getting a much better service. I would use them in the future.

It went very well, I really do like their work. My only complaint would be the price. The technician was only in my house for maybe 45 minutes and was almost 300 dollars. They were very punctual and nice, but the price was a bit high.

Great. Had to find the leak from the shower going into the kitchen ceiling from a bathroom remodel. Ended up having to fix a copper line going to the shower head.

They clean up well and tell you the price upfront. They do what they said they are going to do. The only thing is that their pricing is high. I also had them during week ends and their charges are even more higher than the week days.

Their pricing is very high. But I need not call them back because they do the work correctly. The work is always perfectly done. They are very punctual and give you the price upfront before they do anything. They tell you everything that they are going to do and the work is done well.

The leak had been going on for days and my husband could not find the source. B Franklin plumber was able to locate and fix it in a short amount of time. The work was performed very well and in a timely manner

Two other plumbers could not clear this line, but Benjamin Franklin did it. It was an old house with only a 1.5 inch sewer line in a slab foundation with no crawl space or basement. If they could not clear it, we would have been forced to jackhammer the floor to who knows where, along the way possibly relocating major appliances and fixtures. The price was on the high side but well worth it considering the alternative!

I can't speak to their prices, as I don't usually go shopping when I have a plumbing problem. Its usually an emergency and I just want it fixed. If they were way more expensive than everyone else, I figure they wouldn't be around. Other than that they are totally professional, show up on time and do quality work. No high pressure for additional services. Plumbers are courteous and professional. They take care to keep your house clean. They are typically my first call when i have a plumbing emergency or it is something I can't handle myself.
