Action Air Conditioning & Heating

We will be moving to another HVAC company after this experience.

we signed the contract, then (luckily in NJ there is a 3 day termination) and thought about it and went to another company which came out the next day and repaired the unit that was supposed to be "replaced" for 300 dollars. Action credited us back for the visit.

Excellent. Very professional and polite. Despite small attic and older home, the guys were able to install everything according to code and cleaned up after themselves.

It was outstanding. After installing my new unit, they are coming back to double check that everything is functioning correctly which is outstanding workmanship. I'm very happy with the service and I will recommend them to everyone.

They tried to pull one over on me because I am a Senior citizen and live alone!

I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Mike and Evan came right on time and we're incredibly helpful with answering any questions. They were polite,professional and very sweet to my 3 year old who kept trying to help them. They were able to explain what exactly was wrong and ways to avoid it from happening again. They were fair with pricing and even left the large box for my kids to build a fort with.I highly recommend this company to anyone having HVAC problems.

The install was swift and professional. It came out working like a charm in three hours. I was very happy with how fast the unit was up and running since I'm older, the heat really kills me so it was a pleasant surprise. I'll be recommending action to my neighbors if they have a HVAC problem.

I contacted the New Jersey office because I live right over the Pennsylvania border and thought the PA phone numbers would not service my area. They were unprofessional/rude tone because they thought I was trying to contact another company. When she asked how I got their number, I told her Angie's List and she changed her tone. Pleasant after that. She said they couldn't work on an oil burner because they were looking for a another technician.

Ben came out and looked at the unit. Said that the compressor was shot, as it was pulling 48 amps on a 40 amp breaker. Verbally gave me 3 prices, 7,600, 7,200 or 6,400 I had to write down and ask him to repeat which manufacturer went with each price. As with other reviews, told me about his son's fatal car accident. Told me the installers are only in my area on Thursdays (he was here on a Wednesday), so they could do the job the next day or the following week. In and out in 10 minutes. I wasn't going to pay that much without getting a second opinion, so I told him I would think about it. Called in another company the next day, they replaced 3 parts and had it working, compressor pulling 17 amps, not 48. Wasted $125.

It is terrific serivice man is polite and professional he was here early which is a good thing. he walked me through serveral optionals he made recommendations for service which I am going to go with and I appreciated the no pressure approach to the sale.

I had horizon out here the other day, they gave me an estimated price of $18,500. I thought that was a little pricey so I decided to get another quote by Action. They were recommended to me, now my A/C is quiet and works perfect. I could not be happier.

Not Well. Ben was rude and abrupt. He was rushing and didn't take the time to do a proper inspection. I was ripped off so fast I didn't know what hit me. $125 for a 10 minute visit, because he had to drive an hour instead of turning down the appointment. He spoke to me like I was someone asking him a favor and not as a customer. It was a horrible experience

The tech arrived on time, was very professional and helpful! They even called to follow up and make sure everything was working, I will absolutely hire again.

They did a fine job, and we are very satisfied. Not only that, they were very respectful, did not do any damage, just two nice guys!

The unit was initially installed approximately 10 years ago and the service has been great.

We were scheduled for the an afternoon window. However, the service tech (Evan) called advising he was done other appointments early and was able to make our appointment earlier. Needed to replace coolant. He did a great job in servicing our air conditioning unit.

Evan identified himself and asked me what my problem was. He filled in the blanks with the rest of the problems and went right to work. He communicates well and I am very pleased.

I called horizon to come out and look at my heater because it was making a terrible noise. It took them a day and a half to come out and they told me that I needed an entire new system and it would cost me upwards of 8000$! I then called Action Air, they sent someone out right away and were there within 2 hours. They were professional and fixed the problem for only $250! I recommend if you need any HVAC services go with Action!

Their service is great. The technician arrived early in the time window and was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and a heck of a nice guy who explained everything he was doing with our system. He was in and out quickly, and we could not be more pleased with the service we received. We have worked with this company for years and have never had any complaints. Excellent service!! Action put in my furnace and air conditioner 9 years ago and they have been excellent! I will tell anyone to go through action.

The technicians that came to my house arrived when the scheduled maintenance was for. They explained everything that they were performing on my air conditioner today and saved me money by doing so. I recommend Action to everyone who has heating and air problems!
