Kowall Electric never responded. I waited about a week and contacted Angie's List. Someone from Angie's List called them and they still did not respond. Angie's List gave me a refund and I hired another electrician.

Have not been able to get work done. After offering three (3) dates and taking an unpaid day-off, contractor was a no-show for date he selected (the latest date offered, 11/8/16). Since then he has said he wants to do the job but has not agreed to any date I can schedule it without taking another unpaid day. I am waiting for a reply to my offer to schefule any day wk of 12/26/16. If he replies, schedules, & does the job I will re-evaluate. Doubt this will be worth the trouble. Very disappointed.

He was very thorough and went through ever square inch of our home, answering my questions along the way. Unfortunately, we were unable to move forward with his recommendation due to not having the budget at this time. However, if we had the budget to get our house rewired, Greg and Kowall Electric would be who we picked. The pricing was in line with other services and Greg's attention to detail in our home put him above the others we have contacted. If you are in need of an electrician who will do a great and thorough job, Greg is your guy.

KECO was in and out. My house was under construction while they were here. Every time they left the house was cleaner than when they got here.

Greg was a true professional from the first phone call we had to schedule a time for a quote until he checked in with me after the job to ensure I was satisfied. It was a difficult job. We have high ceilings in a screened-in porch and many intricate light fixtures. Greg took the time to make sure the house looked the same way it did when we bought it. There were also surprises. There were unsafe electrical boxes buried in the kitchen. Greg and his team took it all in stride. They even did a nice job of hanging out TV in my living room! I recommend Greg highly. The re-wiring of our home was a VERY big job that required creating holes in the wall and other invasive measures. Every time my wife and I got home from work the house was clean and orderly. When the job was finished, the house looked good as new and was now safe for my wife and infant son!

Every single time the job is done professionally and well. Both Greg and his employees work hard, and provide you with the detail you need to make an informed decision quickly. Additionally, due to their experience, they often are able to help you evaluate different options as to what you may want and what solutions may make sense. They are always punctual, and stand by their work. In one instance we had some insulation work done which disrupted some of the kitchen recessed lighting and Kowall Electric was out there within a couple of days to fix it. I'd recommend them to anyone. You will be happy with the price, quality, and work product.

Greg has been our electrician for many years. He is efficient, knowledgable and reasonably priced. Gregg and his staff always keep a clean work area and finish the job in entirety. Over the years, he has come in emergency situations with no problem. We highly recommend his services.

I bought a deal through Angie's List and listed a few good dates for me. Greg contacted me via text 2-3 days later and scheduled a time. He showed up with a helper, providing a phone call in advance of his estimated arrival. They took a look at the site, gave me some options, and went with the one I wanted, without any hard-sell to go in a different direction. The whole install took a little over half an hour. It was a quick and professional job. I'm very happy with the outlet!

I purchased the deal ~11 PM and Greg emailed me ~6 AM the next morning. He said he would be in my area and could install that day. My schedule allowed and he came out that same day and installed a brand new outdoor electrical outlet with a WR GFCI receptacle. Greg and his associate were professional and arrived on time. The work was completed in under an hour if I recall correctly. After installation, Greg showed me what he had done and answered any questions I had. He was easy to talk to and didn't tell me my house was going to burn down because of existing problems. We did discuss some inadequacies and I asked him if he could do other electrical jobs on my to do list (install new bathroom exhaust fans with lights, recessed lights, replace outdoor 2nd story flood lights, etc). I received a quote for these additional services. Needless to say, I recommend. Job was done right and love having an extra outdoor outlet!

Greg was awesome. I emailed him on Wednesday and he returned my email that night. He came the next day to install the outlet. Greg was very professional and I'll be referring him to my friends. Great price also.

They came out, we're quickly able to assess the issues and made the necessary repairs. They were very polite and clearly explained what they were doing.

They completed the job on the first day and were very pleasant to work with. Had to come back the next day to fix one of the outlets that had stopped working. Then I noticed there was a hole in our hardwood floor on the other side of a wall they had been working on. I let them know that this had happened and they apologized and agreed to come fix the hole. It's been almost six months now and though I have heard from him a few times about fixing it, it still hasn't been done. UPDATE: Hole was fixed last week.

Greg was very responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. When I thought the LED color of the original fixtures was too cold, he ordered replacements and came out again to install the new ones without complaint. Customer service is definitely his top priority. You won't regret hiring him!

I recently hired Kowall Electric to rewire my entire house. After receiving estimates from several electricians, Greg was the most professional, responsive, and innovative. Throughout the entire job Greg kept us informed and was open to answering all of my questions. I called him several times with a list of questions, each time he was willing to spend the time to answer. Greg was at the house each day working with his team. Re wiring a house can be messy but Greg and his team kept the house neat throughout the process. He had a contractor to repair the walls after the wiring was completed. He is very careful and creative when it comes to the rewire, there was minimal repairs. One of the best parts about Greg is his creative solutions to some things that other electricians made seem difficult. For example, Greg installed a remote switch on the firewall (our house is a twin) so that we could have a light switch on the wall leading up the stairs. He also neatly installed outlets in our kitchen under our cabinets which are also along the firewall, you can't even tell they are there. Other electricians gave no solution to having outlets under those cabinets. Lastly, he hung our tv above our fireplace and no wires show. The cable box is in the basement on a platform he built to hold it and he installed a wireless system so that we can use our remote with the tv which reaches the box in the basement. Before the house was re-wired the majority of the house was knob and tube and basically on two circuits. The house is now code compliant and fully functional. Each room is now on its own circuit and Greg wisely left room for future expansion. I highly recommend hiring Kowall Electric.

Greg is top notch in every way ? honest, fair, dependable, and a wizard at solving those unexpected problems that inevitably pop up. He also (and this is no small thing) stays informed about new lighting products and has a great eye for design. We highly recommend Greg (and his polite, well trained assistant as well). Excellent work, excellent service. Arrived and finished on time. Clean, respectful, and polite.I needed help to troubleshoot some shoddy work that had been left over from a previous owner. Greg figured everything out quick, and made cost effective quality repairs. I asked for several prices from Angie's list electricians, and Greg was among the less expensive - but he seemed most knowledgeable and available. I felt good about this choice from the moment we discussed the work, and I was never disappointed. I particularly liked that he emailed me his estimate while he was still with me seeing the work - no waiting for days to see if the contractor is going to finally send you the promised estimate. He is really efficient. A few texts and we scheduled the work and made arrangements.Look no further. This is your guy. Call him up.
