We Sell & Repair appliances. Most of our new appliances come with a 12 month warranty and our used ones come with a 13 month one. We sell stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, stackables, wine coolers, microwaves, dishwashers, and ice makers. We also sell parts to appliances new or used. Colors of appliances vary from white, beige, black, red and stainless steel. Our inventory is constantly changing.
Two K and A techs delivered our refrigerator.,( the 1st week of Dec 2016) They hooked up water line for ice maker to exsisting hose in floor. Tech confirmed that water to fridge was not yet turned on, but that everything was ready to go for when it was. When water was turned on, later that day, we checked that water was coming out of dispenser on door. It was. Proceed to use fridge. 2 1/2 weeks later, realized water had been leaking from connection to hose in back of fridge. This leak did not leave water all over the top of floor, it had been slowly dripping and seeping between laminate flooring planks softening the particale board subflooring underneath.Refrigerater is in danger of falling through floor now. Immediatly contacted K and A and told them of issue, that it seems like it must have been leaking since hooked up. A tech was sent out and verified that the connection put on the exsisting hose was missing a washer. Delivery techs put on that connection as hose did not have it on before they arrived. Office manager, called after that tech visit, to state the owner would be coming out next day to see how best to repair floors, aplogized for our problem, and stated they would take care of it. Owner came next day and investigated and said his Techs told him they did not hook up. Said it is their policy not to hook up anything, just to deliver and plug in. (Pls note, tech did check our water at time of hook up and stated all was hooked up but water was not on, but good to go, once it was.**no explanation after the fact, as to why they would check that if they didnt hook anything up???) . Owner stated he would need to speak to techs involved once again to determine what to do. Following day, I was informed owner was believing his techs did not hook up and therefore is not helping with repairs to floors. It has come to my attention that one of the techs involved has been let go, the same day I called in and told company of problem. (coincidence?) Desired Resolution: Other (requires explanation) Desired Outcome I was hoping K and A would do the right thing here, and take care of the issue, as techs are blatently not being forthright, I would ask company to at the very least offer to pay our insurance deductible, as we have to use our insurance company to do repairs.

They were great. (I don;t remember his name) He took my husband through his repair shop and showed him how his repair shop is run then he offered us a great price on s front loading washier and dryer ($400.00 pr)j with a 13 month guarantee.. We purchasedx it and it was delivered the following week. They even carried them down to the basement , making a turn that no one else wants to even attempt. Over 6 months we have hd no problem with the washer or dryer. We are making plans to purchase a stove from them in the near future.

The technicians came out and ultimately determined that the problem was on one of the control boards and it should be replaced. It took a while to determine what board was needed and get pricing. Ultimately I decided to do the service. They picked up the dryer and took it to their shop for the service which was fine as I was traveling. They then delivered it in working order, hooked it back up, and tested it. My only complaint was that it was a bit hard to get answers and wasn't the quickest process, but that wasn't a big problem for me.
Description of Work: Troubleshooting of dryer error message. The dryer still worked sometimes but would randomly stop and display an error message.

The Provider was not good at all at keeping in contact. Once an appointment was made they neglected to meet the time frame. They never bothered to contact me to let me know they were running late. It was only after I called them(30 mins after window expired) to find out what was going on. Receptionist told me I was the next address to go to, that the tech was running behind, but couldn't give me a time. I cancelled the appt as I already missed 2.5 hours of work sitting around waiting for them. If you are retired or a home maker than maybe you can sit around and wait for them to show up. For me, it was a waste of 2.5 hours of work. Very costly. I should send them a bill for my time. Would be more than there service call would of been.

About four years ago I needed a washing machine to fit my small budget. I found what I was looking for at K and A and the machine has worked well without issue up until the last couple of months- it has become noisy on the spin cycle. Recently, my twelve year old dryer(not purchased from K and A) decided to retire itself. Faced with the expense of replacing two large appliances I decided to visit their show room to see what was available and was pleasantly surprised to find a large array to choose from and to fit almost every budget. The company has expanded considerably since I was last there -they even had some brand new appliances( scratch and dent) I bought a new Samsung high efficiency top load washer. I would have liked to have the matching dryer but there were none available so a high efficiency slightly used Maytag dryer that looked similar in design filled the bill. The delivery men were very pleasant, prompt and very thorough with installing the new set- one of the gentlemen even went outside to check that the dryer vent was working properly. He discovered that it was blocked and proceeded to clean it all out. He did say that this was one likely cause for the demise of my old dryer. I am really happy with the new appliances- which by the way come with a thirteen month warranty. Very nice people to deal with -they are currently looking for a stainless steel fridge for me that will fit well in an awkward space in the kitchen. Thank you K and A for such great customer service!

Our technician was Amaruis. He was courteous, prompt, and professional. He provided a lot of insight into the workings of our machine and provided some helpful tips to maintain the machine. He explained their repair policy should additional service be required which is very customer friendly and fair.

Description of Work: Remove, evaluate and attempt repair on a washer and a dryer. They fixed the dryer but could not get a necessary part for the washer. When you kept purchasing different parts for the LG washer, we reiterated to you that parts are no longer made for that specific model and to please stop buying those parts. We also did not charge you for the repairs that we did to your dryer and the time it took for our technician to continually speak with you regarding these parts. On top of everything, we even looked at your dishwasher at no additional charge. As we recall, you then requested that we be the ones to return the parts that you bought to Sears; which we just cannot do. Initially the dryer was not heating up to a high enough temperature. I called K&A Used Appliances back and they were able to send out a repairman the same day. The repairman was very polite and professional. he was able to fix the problem right away and on the first visit. We will definitely use K&A Used Appliances in the future when we need things they carry.
